Hi ladies.  I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now, and thought it was about time to introduce myself.  I am 36, DH is 37, and we have a beautiful 2 year old daughter.

*TW* Unfortunately, we have also just experienced our first loss.  We found out in March that we were expecting our second after 13 months of TTC.  This LO was due on 11/11, just 4 days after his/her sister's birthday and ON DH's birthday.  We had our eight week appointment on April 4th where everything looked great, but there was no heartbeat.  My OB said the baby was measuring right on track, so the loss had probably just happened that day or the day before.  Heartbroken is not even a strong enough word.  We discussed my options and decided to go with a "forced" mc that I could do in the privacy of our own home.  Thankfully everything came out without any complications.  *end TW*

My OB says everything looks good and DH and I can start trying again whenever we're ready.  I'm excited to get to know everyone, and participate on this board.
