So happy to see several more familiar faces @breezybee@MJDsquared@LaurenEG14 It's been weird for me to question every single twinge, cramp, wave of nausea and I know I've peed on more sticks than I would have ever thought necessary, but with every second line (now so dark compared to three weeks ago!) I feel a little more like this is all really happening. I will say, the digital test was reassuring and I may or may not have a ziplock bag full of tests somewhere in my house, lol. Now that my first appointment is (finally!) this week I am beyond excited but also extremely nervous... this community has been enlightening in so many ways, but knowing how common losses are can be so anxiety provoking. Though I'm not a loss survivor myself, I found myself repeating the "today I am pregnant" mantra to myself when I start to worry about not really feeling very pregnant. It's helped.
@MJDsquared Spotting is scary but normal as you've described it. TMI, but until the start of this week, any orgasm I had brought on immediate cramping and pinkish/brownish spotting. It definitely put a damper on sex for a while there, but things are mostly back to normal at this point... if not actually even a little better than normal right now.
I'm with you guys on missing the ladies from TTGP and the community and organization there, but I'm hoping the conversations on our BMB get stronger as time goes on. I'm behind on intros because there are so many.... and well, many of them are so shocked to be here that I feel less of a connection to those people.

@CandyApple2012 I've been repeating 'today I am pregnant' too, even though I've never had a loss either. Seeing so many on the bump as well as at work, it's hard not to think about! I almost wish I was ignorant to it so I could just be blissfully excited about being KU.
@breezybee OMG the digital is so satisfying! Every time I start to get myself worked up I just look back at that test and it helps to alleviate some of the anxiety.
I also missing the TTGP board, and I have been really reluctant to start participating over here. It took me a while to really start feeling comfortable over in TTGP, and the idea of "starting over" has been a little intimidating. I think it also doesn't help that I am so far behind the rest (and technically not even actually due in Dec).
1. Due date? 01 January
2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support Like some of the others, this all still just doesn't seem real. I must confess, I have been testing everyday just because it helps me to feel better to see that the line is still there. I guess I am just hoping that something clicks to help make this feel more real.
3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments? I actually already had an appointment set up for tomorrow, so I just have to confirm with my Dr. that I am still coming in for that.
4. Questions/concerns? None that I can think of right now
OMG I'm so glad this thread is here! I just want to echo all of you with the fact that it's so intimidating to start over with a new group of people. I'm hoping this TTGP check-in thread can be my "transition" lol It's just hard because there is definitely a different feel. Not necessarily bad, but just...different. @Pinky917 Yes--it's hard to be "behind" when you join these groups. Back when I was on July 11, my EDD was 7/27, and I just felt so out of the loop the whole time that it kind of put me off. I could not break into the established groups at that point. However, I think with all of us here, it will definitely ease the transition, and we already have a built in group of people. It really helps!
1. Due date? Dec 31
2. How are you feeling? DD posts are welcome if you need support I feel basically nothing. A little bloated and tired, but if I didn't know I was pregnant I probably wouldn't think much of it. I did not get MS last time, just some nausea, so really crossing my fingers to repeat that.
3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from
recent appointments? Not yet. I'm actually still trying to decide which facility/doc I'm going to use, so I suppose I will make that decision and call this week. My old OB left the practice, and I loved her so much. Really bummed.
4. Questions/concerns? Honestly my biggest concerns relate more toward the end of the pregnancy than anything immediate, and I'm sure I'll be expressing those frequently so I won't start already!
@alysapuggles - what a bummer that your OB left. Having an OB you like/trust is so important. I assume she didn't just go to another local practice that you could transfer to?

@Tennis11785 No, she's hours away now. Would've loved to see her again. There is another practice that looks promising, so I'm hoping I will find another awesome OB there. Just wish I wasn't starting from scratch!
@alysapuggles I know how you feel. My midwife moved north of the city and we moved South so it just wasn't feasible to have her do our care anymore. But I found another just as awesome midwife within 2 days! Hopefully you will have the same luck as me
@alysapuggles Sorry to hear your OB left the practice. I just found out that my Dr. no longer does obstetrics, so now I am on the search to find an OB.
When I went to the doctor yesterday they did a test to confirm which was extremely light, but still positive. I took another at home this morning and, while it is still positive, it was significantly lighter than it had previously been. Any symptoms that I had been feeling before are gone. I do have some very light spotting going on, so it looks like this may end as a CP. Right now all I can do is wait it out and see what happens, and the wait has been killing me. I really hope you don't mind me posting this here, but I really did not know where else to go.
@Pinky917 Have you had any beta tests? That would give you a lot more insight! Don't put too much weight in the symptoms- all mine disappeared around 5 weeks and haven't returned. Thinking of you!!!
When I had an early m/c in January my symptoms weirdly got stronger.

I had my first beta yesterday, and the results came in the online portal last night. I have no idea if I'm reading them right (there's no place where it just says result and a number), but it seems to me like it says my levels are only in the 0-5 range. However, I took a Wondfo about four hours before that with totally clear urine and it was still positive and Wondfos are only positive with like 20, I think... But I'm just feeling really anxious.
@PennStateCait@camomile_june I think they'll call me, but to be sure, I'm going to call once they open and request a call back. But that's not for another hour.
@Pinky917 FX for you. This must be scary and I totally understand. It could be totally normal, though, but shit the wait is awful. Please come here as much as you need to for support!
@MJDsquared I wish I could be of some help - but I have no idea how to read those and what they should be. Definitely call your doctor when they open to get some clarification.
@MJDsquared I hope you can get some clarification soon. I guess this is the downside to being able to see the results of things online without anyone to clarify or explain or double check. That sounds really stressful.
@Pinky917 I am keeping my FX for you and thinking of you. Everything is so uncertain and confusing early on like this. Don't hesitate to post here for support!!
Oh my GOSH. It's now five hours after the office opened and I finally got the call. My levels were over 4,000, so they want me to just schedule an ultrasound instead of get another beta. The medical assistant was like, "The result is the 4,000 number." Literally the only numbers I got in the results were the date, time, and 0-5 mIU/ml.
Also, she said the ultrasound is to "make sure it's in my uterus" soo **TW** way to make me think I have an ectopic...
@MJDSquared Oh my god!!! All that worrying for nothing!!! I believe all first early ultrasounds are to make sure it's in your uterus, don't freak out at her wording! I had a suspected ectopic in January (turned out it wasn't) but all my researching suggested you'd probably feel something in the wrong place with a beta of 4,000. I know that every step of the way I find something new to worry about but for right now you are super KU! Congrats!!!

@MJDsquared Yay! So happy your results turned out awesome! Don't let the tech's thoughtless wording freak you out, most early ultrasounds are to make sure it's in the right place, pretty standard, like @PennStateCait said!
