@LoveInDC - sorry about your cold! @KariAnn323 - I would do some terrible things for a biscuit right now. I wanted to stop at Chick fil A for breakfast but I ate cereal instead. @50Wife - woohoo for good timing! And yesssssss to Maury. @Cricket648 - Good luck today! @lulu1180 - woo for O! R/R: it's hump day! I need to hassle DH to nail down some vacation time. I need it. Just confirmed my sister's wedding date next April. Now I'm stressed that I might be KTFU and late in 3rd tri and not able to travel. But there's no way we're going to TTA.
CS/Q: So my doc suggested taking progesterone after O, but she echoed a lot of what I've read about it not being a proven treatment. Are any of you on it, and if so, what was your reason? I haven't had my progesterone levels checked after O before, but my LP is usually 12 days, so I didn't think there was much worry. She also said it was expensive. Any idea on the typical cost?
GTKY: my go to meal is pho when I have a cold. Otherwise I just enjoy moping around if I can get away with it.

R/R: Rant: Vacation is over and I'm back to work and realizing just how much I dislike my job.
Rave: Vacation was a blast. We totally pulled a Home Alone and overslept! We wanted to leave by 6:00 am but didn't wake up until 6:28! I jumped out of bed so quick and then realized I had also missed taking my temp, but since I got out of bed so violently it was too late. Really funny way to start off vacation thought. We had a great time. It was so nice to get to spend time with my sister and see where she lives and works. The town is adorable and it was fun exploring. Then spending the rest of the weekend at the beach with DH's brother and his wife and my sister just made the week even better.
CS/Q: My chart is going to be rough this month, between oversleeping the day we were leaving for vacation and a wicked sunburn which caused almost a 2 point temp spike, it's going to be interesting.
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? (Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather) I like to just lay around under as many blankets as possible and watch tv or Disney movies and other childhood favorites.

@icecubeinthedesert I'm not sure how much it costs but my insurance did cover the test as it was considered "diagnostic" a although I have no IF benefits for treatment. Maybe see if your provider can verify with your insurance company first.
@RVAmom315 sorry you're having a rough day, hope you feel better
@SoldiersMom wow sounds like a super close call! That was always my biggest fear with traveling being late and missing the flight! Glad you enjoyed your vacation! CD 10 is still early in your cycle so your chart still might wind up being okay. When do you typically O?

@50Wife High five for perfect timing! FX you’re right and
those temps rise rise rise I used to be all about trash TV/Maury when I was
home, and then I started working from home. Believe it or not, it gets sooo old
after a while (especially with all the reruns). Whomp.
@Cricket648 GL at your appointment! Don’t stress. This is
going to be a good visit! Hopefully they take BW (or ask you to come back
fasting). Plus, you get the magical Provera pills! Yay yay yay
@lulu1180 Your gif game is on point today! Sorry for a
crappy night sleep, but yay for O!
@gusgus14 I’m with you in the “not usually sick” boat (which
is what makes this cold all the more frustrating). Sending you all the positive
vibes to make it through hump day!
@beachbunnyxo123 It’s so exciting/scary to start a medicated
cycle. I have no words of advice, but crossing my fingers so hard for good news
at your u/s.
@icecubeinthedesert Hump day! As for your sister’s wedding,
don’t even put that on your radar any time soon. You deserve to plan a family
in your own time. If there’s a problem, worry about it in March. Oh, and +1 for
moping and getting away with it.
@SoldiersMom I’m glad you had such a great vacation! But boo
for it being over High five for watching childhood movies when you’re sick.
It’s just the best!
@Avrilmai I’m the same way when I’m overwhelmed. But yay for
fun after work plans! Have fun at your happy hour
@Sailing_Mama I hope your chart figures itself out soon!
Have fun at acupuncture I know a few ladies have mentioned it before, but
does your insurance cover any of it? I’m curious, but not curious enough to go
OOP
WAYDTGKU: HIO as much as possible, OPKs, PNV,
probably going to get some preseed in there too, eating better and lose some
weight.
R/R: First day home from seeing family in Texas
and I already want to be back (is that bad?!). My dad is driving up furniture
for us this weekend and now I have to spend the next few days cleaning. On a
good note, I had 4 flights over this trip that all got in on time or earlier…
no delays or anything! It’s been a long time since that has happened for me.
CS/Q: I want to start temping but I sleep so
bad. I wake up multiple times a night, mouth breathe and a lot of times I wake
up sweating. Would I be able to still get good readings or should I try to get
the sleeping stuff under control before starting to temp?
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick?
(Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather)
lay in bed, by myself, and binge watch T.V. DH is the opposite and needs
cuddles so when we are sick together, it’s not pleasant.
@loveindc – FX you get your voice back soon! I
am also loving all the grad announcements!
WAYDTGKU: Femara, trigger, Metformin, Vit D, PNV, Vitex, Folate, RRL tea while WTO, Myoinsitol, Alpha Lipoic Acid, B Complex in TWW
R/R: So there was a lizard in my shower this morning. I'm not afraid of them but I still don't particularly want to share that space with them. I didn't even notice it until I went to reach for a towel and it jumped off and scared the bejeezus out of me. DH caught it in a cup and let it outside but it felt like quite the ordeal. The joys of living in Florida I guess? Ick.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? (Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather) Chicken soup, saltine crackers, and orange juice over lots of ice are the foods I always crave when sick. Alka Seltzer plus, Vicks vaporub, and plain old saline spray are the best OTC items I can recommend. As for movies, Mary Poppins. It's the ultimate comfort film for me.
@LoveInDC Old Disney movies are hands down the best when sick. I hope you feel better soon.
@lulu1180 Hooray for O! FX and sorry about the poor night's sleep.
@beachbunnyxo123 Don't be nervous! I had my CD12 monitoring yesterday. My follicles weren't quite where they wanted them to be just yet for O/trigger so they asked me to come back tomorrow morning. It was easy though and the nurse/tech I had was able to explain to me what she was seeing which was helpful.
@icecubeinthedesert Regarding the price of progesterone, I've taken it once under an OB and insurance covered it so it wasn't bad (like $10) but under my last RE I was completely OOP and when I checked I saw prices ranging from $35-75ish. And mmm pho sounds like an amazing sick food indeed.
@SoldiersMom I'm glad you had a nice vacation, even if you are having to deal with the woes of being back to reality today.
@Avrilmai That so busy you're "frozen" feeling is the worst. I'm sorry. I usually just start with something simple/manageable and go from there. Most of my friends are long distance and I'm terrible at keeping in touch as well. That is especially true for friends who aren't texters because I'm an awkward phone person. GL with meeting those goals.
@icecubeinthedesert I'm on progesterone after O. My luteal phase is 13 days *TW* but with both losses my progesterone levels were very low. *End TW* OB hasn't had me do any tests since starting the progesterone so I don't know if it's working. It does give me peace of mind though. Previously I would have a lot of anxiety during the TWW about needing to find out ASAP so if I was KU I could get my levels checked right away. As far as cost my copay was $5 for 60 200 mg capsules.
@KariAnn323, thanks for the info! **TW** with my first loss, I never saw any of my BW results, so I assume it was ok? But want tested until I was 7w, so maybe too little too late. With my second loss (and new OB who does share test results) we made it to the full BW.
For anyone else that's interested, at least in terms of RPL outcome, there is no benefit of progesterone supplements when started after BFP, but so far I haven't seen any studies on benefit starting right after O. I'm on the fence about whether to try, but @KariAnn323 is right, maybe it's better to feel like I'm trying something.

@Sailing_Mama Lucky lady! Jealous of your health care “up
there”
@justkeepswimming8 You’ll have to figuring out temping for
yourself. Temping vaginally will definitely help you on all fronts. I
personally have issues sleeping from time to time, but have even temps despite
that. You don’t know until you try, so I say try! What do you have to lose?
@magnolia131 Yaaaas another old-school Disney fan! I would
have totally screamed if there was a lizard in my shower. No shame. Thank
goodness YH was there to save the day!
@Cricket648 No side effects for me! At least nothing that I
noticed outside of the anovulatory hormones (acne mostly). I even had a very easy period
coming off of them. Friday – Sunday (10 days) Provera, my period came on
Thursday, down to spotting Tuesday. No serious cramps, cravings, or mood
swings. Just a little more waiting!
@50Wife wahoo!! sounds like you had great timing! FX!!!! Also... Maury... makes me feel so much better about my own life LOL. @Cricket648 i'm like you, I get nervous about appts in the afternoon... too much time all day to think and stress hope it goes well for you! @lulu1180 hoping for a super pos OPK!!! @SoldiersMom awww! i love hearing that you had a super amazing vacation! sorry that you're feeling down about your job. @Stargazer1lily - I wish I had your motivation to work out in the morning! that's seriously amazing, i give you huge applause on that. @Avrilmai - sorry you're so super duper busy, i hate that feeling, like no matter how much you get done, there's still MOUNDS of stuff to do. Glad to hear that you've made time to meet up with a good friend, hopefully that recharges you.

@LoveInDC Thanks! I know that your experience won't necessarily be my experience, but that still puts my mind at ease a bit! At least the Provera part should be easy!
@AliW220 Glad to know I'm not the only one who gets nervous about afternoon doctor's visits!
@Cricket648 I totally get where you're coming from. GL! Ooo was this your first cycle temping? If so, keep temping while taking the Provera (not necessarily every day, but when it's easy). Mark the drug in FF and discard the temp to keep it from confusing FF. Provera will cause your temp to jump to post-O highs. If you're curious what your post-O temps might be, this is the chance to find out!
@icecubeinthedesert DH and I talked about possibly visiting
his cousin in Seattle this summer. But
he doesn’t seem interested in actually moving forward and getting plane
tickets. I just want to know for sure
what’s going on!
@SoldiersMom Hey CD buddy! Glad you had such a great vacation, but also happy to
have you back on the dailies!
@Avrilmai Bumping should come before everything else! Haha!
@Sailing_Mama Have fun at acupuncture tonight! (Is that the right sentiment?? lol)
@justkeepswimming8 Yay for on-time flights! As for temping, in your situation, I would
suggest temping vaginally since mouth breathing can affect temps so much.
@magnolia131 OMG I would’ve freaked out too! Sorry about the lizard!
@AliW220 Have you used OPKs before? I know mine are very obviously negative the
night before I get a blazing positive.
Also, FWIW, I get an almost positive with FMU and then a blazing
positive with SMU

I'm super nervous about my appointment today, just becasue I don't like going to the doctor in general. Also, it's not until 4:00, so that'll give me plenty of time to stress. I'm so ready to get this cycle over with though!
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? Deny that I'm sick, becasue then it doesn't exist.

R/R: Today should be O day! I'll take an OPK in about 45 minutes and I'm assuming it will be positive! Also, I slept like shit last night and felt like I was tossing and turning all damn night! Why don't I ever follow my gut when this happens and text my boss to go into work late....
CS/Q: nope!
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? (Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather) Ginger ale, chicken noodle soup, and Netflix!

CS/Q:
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? (Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather) Mostly I like to sleep but I always love doing that. I don't really get sick often (other than allergies and migraines) but when I do I like to just curl up on the couch and watch tv.
@LoveInDC - sorry about your cold!
@KariAnn323 - I would do some terrible things for a biscuit right now. I wanted to stop at Chick fil A for breakfast but I ate cereal instead.
@50Wife - woohoo for good timing! And yesssssss to Maury.
@Cricket648 - Good luck today!
@lulu1180 - woo for O! I'm expecting mine tomorrow and then another long TWW.

WAYDTGKU: All the things, eventually. Also got a referral for an HSG, Rx for progesterone starting at O, and doing some BW

WAYDTGKU: Temping/CM Charting, OPK, EPO/PNV, HIO, Pineapple core after O

@icecubeinthedesert girl, get that vacation! this process is stressful and you've been through a lot you deserve it. as for your S's wedding, that's one of those "cross that bridge when we come to it situations". Have you scheduled your HSG?

@50Wife High five for perfect timing! FX you’re right and those temps rise rise rise I used to be all about trash TV/Maury when I was home, and then I started working from home. Believe it or not, it gets sooo old after a while (especially with all the reruns). Whomp.
@Cricket648 GL at your appointment! Don’t stress. This is going to be a good visit! Hopefully they take BW (or ask you to come back fasting). Plus, you get the magical Provera pills! Yay yay yay
@lulu1180 Your gif game is on point today! Sorry for a crappy night sleep, but yay for O!
@gusgus14 I’m with you in the “not usually sick” boat (which is what makes this cold all the more frustrating). Sending you all the positive vibes to make it through hump day!
@beachbunnyxo123 It’s so exciting/scary to start a medicated cycle. I have no words of advice, but crossing my fingers so hard for good news at your u/s.
@icecubeinthedesert Hump day! As for your sister’s wedding, don’t even put that on your radar any time soon. You deserve to plan a family in your own time. If there’s a problem, worry about it in March. Oh, and +1 for moping and getting away with it.
@RVAmom315 Hugs for a tough day
@SoldiersMom I’m glad you had such a great vacation! But boo for it being over High five for watching childhood movies when you’re sick. It’s just the best!
@Avrilmai I’m the same way when I’m overwhelmed. But yay for fun after work plans! Have fun at your happy hour
@Sailing_Mama I hope your chart figures itself out soon! Have fun at acupuncture I know a few ladies have mentioned it before, but does your insurance cover any of it? I’m curious, but not curious enough to go OOP
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: HIO as much as possible, OPKs, PNV, probably going to get some preseed in there too, eating better and lose some weight.
R/R: First day home from seeing family in Texas and I already want to be back (is that bad?!). My dad is driving up furniture for us this weekend and now I have to spend the next few days cleaning. On a good note, I had 4 flights over this trip that all got in on time or earlier… no delays or anything! It’s been a long time since that has happened for me.
CS/Q: I want to start temping but I sleep so bad. I wake up multiple times a night, mouth breathe and a lot of times I wake up sweating. Would I be able to still get good readings or should I try to get the sleeping stuff under control before starting to temp?
GTKY: What do you like to do when you're sick? (Inspired by our many bumpies under the weather) lay in bed, by myself, and binge watch T.V. DH is the opposite and needs cuddles so when we are sick together, it’s not pleasant.
@loveindc – FX you get your voice back soon! I am also loving all the grad announcements!
@kariann323 – now I want biscuits… lol
@50wife – yay for O and good timing!

@RVAmom315 I hope your headache and mood improve!
@Sailing_Mama Lucky lady! Jealous of your health care “up there”
@justkeepswimming8 You’ll have to figuring out temping for yourself. Temping vaginally will definitely help you on all fronts. I personally have issues sleeping from time to time, but have even temps despite that. You don’t know until you try, so I say try! What do you have to lose?
@magnolia131 Yaaaas another old-school Disney fan! I would have totally screamed if there was a lizard in my shower. No shame. Thank goodness YH was there to save the day!
@Cricket648 No side effects for me! At least nothing that I noticed outside of the anovulatory hormones (acne mostly). I even had a very easy period coming off of them. Friday – Sunday (10 days) Provera, my period came on Thursday, down to spotting Tuesday. No serious cramps, cravings, or mood swings. Just a little more waiting!

@justkeepswimming8 Yay for on-time flights! As for temping, in your situation, I would suggest temping vaginally since mouth breathing can affect temps so much.
@magnolia131 OMG I would’ve freaked out too! Sorry about the lizard!
@AliW220 Have you used OPKs before? I know mine are very obviously negative the night before I get a blazing positive. Also, FWIW, I get an almost positive with FMU and then a blazing positive with SMU
