MY BABY SLEPT IN A TODDLER BED FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST NIGHT! One wake up at 1am, she fell out of bed, but I tucked her in and she was sleeping again in 10 minutes. She went to bed at 9pm and was still snoozing when I left for work at 8:15am.
I turn the dirty 30 on Thursday! And I work for a CPA and today ends tax season (our insanely busy and stressful season) *happy dance* so after today, my stess melts away (mostly). Also, I get to hear LO's heartbeat on my birthday (onky have seen it on a screen up until now) And I have a date night with hubby on Saturday. Seeing Beauty and the Beast and trying out a restaurant I've been dying to try. So,I'm just excited for lots and lots of things
My girls officially are moved in the same room and are digging it. We had no plans to make it official until about August. But they insisted and it's been going great!
Tax refund went from a few hundred back to several thousand back. HUGE win considering I just found out my company changed short term disability insurance companies this year and I'm going to get royally screwed this go around.

@Myelhsa we are going to transition DD into a toddler bed when we do her "big girl" room before LO gets here. I am so scared! I keep thinking she is going to roll out and hurt herself or just hate it altogether and refuse to sleep in it. So we will see. Yay for small victories, though lol!!
I was only 10 minutes late today. Lately it's been more like 20 minutes. Good thing my boss is awesome. She said from the beginning as long as I got in 40 hours she really didn't care.
DH is doing bedtime tonight since he will be gone past bedtime the next three nights. I'm so looking forward to a break from that.

i FINALLY heard baby's heart beat on my fetal doppler. I gave up weeks ago, and said lets give it try yesterday. I found it right away. Music to my ears
Celebrating toddler sleep over here too! We got rid of the crib on Sunday and that night he slept from 8-715, win. Last night he slept from 830-530... he turned on his light then and started bawling. But still, win! I am so happy
A good friend sent me a doppler and I got it yesterday and was able to find the heartbeat fairly quickly. I'm so glad I can use it when I'm feeling anxious.

We took off the front of dd2's crib on Friday since she said she didn't want to switch to the toddler bed, so this was our compromise. She has been doing way better than expected and while we're still dealing with her waking up in the MOTN and ending up in our bed, I feel like it's already so much easier than it was with our older two. But it also could be because we've become a lot more lax being on the third kid that and she is a year older than the other two were when we did the transition. Now to just get her back to STTN before baby comes...
Booked my flight to visit my folks for a few days this summer! DH was actually supportive and on board and my Grandma will be there from another country! Big reunion time!
@kkerner87 I would try to keep as much as possible exactly the same if you can. Same sheets, same blankets, same routine. Maybe introduce the bed the week before when her room is the same and then maybe add fun new sheets when you upgrade the entire room.
We finally had sex last night since this pregnancy started! He worries about breaking the baby of course but I finally felt sexy enough for some action
DD woke with a dry pull-up for the 5th morning in a row!! She's been napping during the day without a pull-up for a couple months without any accidents. Now to be brave enough to put her to bed, at night, in panties ...

@jessafishy same! for some reason i always get nervous right before my dr's appointments. This has certainly put my mind at ease. Its also really cool. I feel like I'm peaking in there in a way. lol
@sdarling2010 I am so, so jealous of this. Also, when does the pooping on the potty come? DD goes up to her room, puts a pull up on by herself and then tells us when she's done. She has zero interest in pooping on the potty. I'm not pushing it because I think she would be one to just hold it until it hurt, but we've been "pee trained" (except overnights) for about 6 months now...but zero progress on the pooping or peeing at night level.

callababy17 - if you haven't already social media announced yet, you could take a fun picture of your new home and say "We got a new crib, and now we need.... a new crib!" or you can take a picture in front of your for sale sign on your current house and say "We're getting a new crib, because we need a new crib!" (I think Nick Lachey and his wife did that or something)

@natleilynn DD was the very same! She would hold poop until a diaper or pull-up was on. Sometimes she would wait a couple days. It was crazy! It took a couple months before that stopped. She's been completely potty trained (pee and poop) since the end of January. And turned 3 mid-March. We did "Potty Prizes" and she'd get a little something (tattoo, sticker, bracelet, etc) every time she went on the potty (pee or poop). Once peeing was mastered, we changed it to a prize only when she pooped on the potty. Not sure exactly what did it, but it was basically an overnight thing, all led by her! She has gotten up to pee in the middle of the night a couple times, but mostly just sleeps through the night and wakes dry. She's now asking in the morning if she has panties or a pull-up on and if she can pee in it ... I'm taking this as a sign it's time to stop pull-ups!
I hope your DD decides to poop on the potty soon! It's so frustrating when you know they need to go but are too stubborn to just do it! It could definitely be a control thing too - she knows it's all on her to go or not.
@emwj10187 & @jessafishy - what brand Doppler do you have? I'm so anxious this time around and am thinking about getting one to put my mind at ease. There's so many options!
@sdarling2010 we've offered so much for pooping on the potty - trips to the ice cream shop, everything. I always ask if she wants to go poop in the potty and she says no. I won't help her put her pull up on to poop, but I don't try to stop her, either because I don't want her to stop herself all up. I know one day she'll just magically start doing it all herself, but I'm really hoping it's before LO comes so we don't have to buy diapers and pull up's at the same time!

I'm 16 weeks today and just heard the heartbeat for the first time at last weeks appointment (had seen it on ultrasounds, but hadn't heard it). Figured I'd wait until that happened before I started looking into it. Not sure why I'm so anxious with this pregnancy but it'd be nice to hear this LO's heartbeat to put my mind at ease. Now to convince DH it's necessary for my sanity ...
@sdarling2010 it's so necessary! And such a wonderful way to start the day. I listen to it on Saturday mornings as a weekend treat, and then during the week if I'm feeling anxious. My mom was over the other day and I had her listen- she cried and it was a nice bonding thing.
@dajocl it's right across the street from my office and is quickly becoming this pregnancy's craving. Grow to expect all it's glory at least once a week

@natleilynn I really feel that you need to include a TW in front of any Arbys related posts.

What if you stored the pull ups in the bathroom and let her know they were there? Then at least it would move the pooping towards the right direction, then eventually sitting on the potty with the pull up as she is pooping. You are right, she will get there!
