This show makes me so happy I was so lame in high school. I can't stop watching!
See...It makes me angry and sad, because I honestly never saw anyone being that mean in my high school. DH swears I'm lying or delusional, but I'm serious. There was one guy who was just an equal opportunity asshole to everyone, but because of that no one paid him any attention. Of course, we did only graduate 64 kids... so maybe that's part of it?
@Sugargirl1019 LOVE that movie! It makes me so sad to think we won't have another Robin Williams movie.
Im continuing my Friday Night Lights marathon. I never watched this before but I'm totally hooked. I took tomorrow off because we're having French doors that DH found on Craigslist installed on the bedroom closet and I predict I'll be on the couch watching this all day while the guy is working.

I graduated with 420 and kids were really mean to me in junior high. They called me ugly Betty, I'd get my binders knocked out of my hands, one of the popular guys asked me to a movie and then stood me up.... it was rough. I can relate to a LOT of what Hanna went through... like 90% of it.

@Sugargirl1019 that's messed up. I hate when you feel like you can trust someone to vent and they stomp on that. I wouldn't even respond to your mom--she's out of line and so is your dad for telling her.
@Sugargirl1019 Aw I'm so sorry It really sucks to have to deal with those type of family issues. I don't think that your father should have shared with her your concerns. It isn't like you went back to your mom telling him all of the things that he said about her.

Hi friends, @HollyGolightly09 I also graduated with about 60 people ( Biggest graduating class in history) , my whole school was just over 400 people in total. A small rural school has its advantages and its drawbacks that's for sure. I can tell you it sure motivated me to do well in school to GTFO out of that small little town.

DH was talking to his mom yesterday and told her that we are considering splitting my mat leave and he will do 6ish months of Pat leave. She told him doing that would " lead to financial and career ruin" ORLY? But it wouldnt if I took the full leave? Just him? bish please.
Trying to get caught up because I've been MIA the past week. Life has been so busy! I kind of want time to slow down because this is my last pregnancy and it's going so fast I don't even feel like I get to enjoy it!

DH & I have decided that when it comes time to baptize our child we will have it done in California, where ALL of his family is, and his uncle is a priest & can do the sacrament. We also decided on God Parents, his cousin & his wife. We chose all this so that his family can be involved and meet our child. We got married on the East coast, and will more than likely be moving to the East coast this fall. This will be a great time for all the family on that side to meet our baby. I am 100% on board, as I actually suggested doing it in California so his parents who are in a financial crisis of their own can be there when their 1st grandchild gets baptized. His family also has a baptismal gown that apparently everyone has used for like 60+ years. I am just dreading telling my parents, as they will just see this as a personal attack, when I know they can easily afford to travel to California.

yes, pathetically yes. I am still really mind blown over it. I'm at a point that they will either jump on board and be supportive or they won't. The saddest part is that it is looking *fingers crossed* we are actually going to get stationed WHERE THEY LIVE. So they will have almost every day access to our baby, and they are freaking out about being here when the baby is born, when we'll be moving *hopefully* to them 8wks later. I just have this feeling they are just going to play victim, and it's really sad.
@labby18 This sounds like my mom. DH and I had discussed naming DS after my (favorite) uncle, who passed away a few months before DS was born. We ended up deciding not to, bc my mom (whom I love dearly, but drives me nuts) would throw a hissy fit over it not being someone from her side of the family.
ETA- Ick. Someone just used the microwave to heat up their lunch, and whatever it is, it smells disgusting. I'm pretty sure it's just pregnancy nose/ nausea, but.. eww.
Just started binge watching Thirteen Reasons Why and I am hooked. I really need to stop and do some productive thing so around the house. But it's so good.
@labby18 Why adults like to be perceived as the victim is something I will never understand. My MIL's favorite thing in the world is to make people feel sorry for her. But, yay for maybe getting to move back there!!
