Hey @carterh33 -spotting is always stressful and definitely let your RE know when they are open, but if the spotting is light with no accompanying signs like cramps it is likely normal.I had spotting daily from week 5 till week 12 or 13 and just delivered sweet baby girl 3 weeks ago as of tomorrow! I would tell you not to worry but it was very hard not to worry even when docs said everything was fine. Hope this gives you a little peace of mind!

You will probably notice on this board that almost all of us had spotting. Some heavy, some light, some red, some brown. And for a lot of us it wasn't anything and is quite normal. Some of us knew it was normal, yet freaked out anyway (as did I) Try to keep having positive thoughts as it doesn't mean anything, even if that's almost impossible to do. As the above comment says, even after I've seen my LO on an ultrasound I've never stopped worrying and she's now 5 months old. Do let your RE know you had some spotting, it would be nice if they can show you all is ok. It does make the worrying easier. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months
Thank you both! The local hospital is going to do a beta since RE has no weekend/on call dr. It still continued to this morning, but it was still light.
Good news! I was able to get an ultrasound and we saw a heartbeat! They said everything looks good and just take it easy until the scheduled ultrasound Thursday. We weren't able to hear it, but we could see the flicker!
