TTCAL check in week of 4/10

1. Introduce yourself (if new).
2. Status?
3. R/R?
4. GTKY: describe your dream home.

Re: TTCAL check in week of 4/10

  • 1. Introduce yourself (if new). NMC in December at 9w2d.

    2. Status? Tta

    3. R/R? I'm so ready for the warm weather. We keep getting it in tiny spurts before the rain and clouds move back in. And I've been kinda slacking on my eating. DH and I have been doing so good and then last week we didn't do so well, time to get back on track!

    4. GTKY: describe your dream home. I want a newer house with 4 bedrooms, 2-3 bath with a shop outside for DH, a fenced yard for DS to play, a nice area for gardening and a huge and amazing kitchen. Actually, I can pass on a lot of that if I just had a perfect kitchen ;)

CP in December at 5weeks. Currently TTCAL cycle 3

R/R - DD has tonsilitis again and I had to take her to the doc this morning. Fever was at 101 so she stayed home from school and on antibiotics. If she gets another one of these this summer I'm going to get a referal to an ENT doc and see what they have to say about it. If needed I will want them taken out this year while we have a very low DED.

My dream home is just off the beach in Kaua'i - simple 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, very open floor plan with a porch swing out front.

    1. See sig
    2. 9dpo and getting impatient. I already lost the google/SS battle (again).
    3. Rave: I'm on spring break so I am happy as a clam. Rant: 2WW sucks
    4. My dream home would be a big lake house. At least 5 bedrooms, big open kitchen, wrap around porch, with a private dock for my dream boat. It would have a big garage for DH, a fire pit, and a big tree with a swing. Exact location TBD, but close in distance to a decent sized city.

    1.  Not new
    2. 14 DPO
    3. Rave: A couple more days and I'll be on April vacay and going to Vegas with DH.  Going for follow up with RE on Wednesday to hear DH's SA results and see what his treatment plan is.

Rant: Over this spotting I've been having since 11 DPO

    4.  Dream house would be spacious on a nice piece of land.  I like neighbors, just don't like houses one on top of each other.  A few large bedrooms, a finished basement, separate gym area.  Master bath would be awesome.  I would love a big, open kitchen wit a double oven, lots of counter space and huge fridge and freezer.

  • Do you normally spot that much @SP128

  • SP128SP128 member
@vlagrl29  It's usually 2 - 3 days or so.  I looked back at FF and it has been 4 days once before.  Sometimes I spot, then stop or a few days and spot again.

I don't think I've ever spotted for 5 days before so we will see tomorrow.  My temp has dropped but still .4 or so above cover line.

  • Not new.  MMC in August 2016 and another this month.

Waiting for AF.  I've got about 4 weeks before it shows up.

R/R hate that I'm here again   Will start IUI process as soon as AF arrives.  I'm also looking forward to seeing my mom and sisters this weekend for Easter.

My my dream house would be an old house with lots of character. It would be restored with some of original finishes and some new.  It would be on nice land but near a city.
  • 1. Introduce yourself (if new). Not new.

    2. Status? I don't even know anymore - which is kind of nice. I'm probably just past ovulation but not tracking and so busy. Its great!

    3. R/R? I'm back from an amazing 3 days of intense barre training. It was so amazing and I'm so excited to get back to studio and teach! My rant is my 6 year old is still sick. Its day 8 - took her to doctor Friday and last night (well my husband did). So hard to manage. She needed blood work and x-rays last night. so far, nothing to note so we are just watching her.

    4. GTKY: describe your dream home. My current house, but re-modeled :) We have the BEST location but our house is old and needs updating.

@ladipale  We are staying one night in the Luxor and the rest of the week at Club de Soel.  Just booked tix to Penn and Tell and Jabawakeez.  Any recommendations?  We've done Bodies at the Luxor last time we were there and plan on doing that again!  Positive vibes for your daughter.

  • 1. Not new--I don't think anyone here is this week, so that's good. '
    2. WTO CD 13--plans to BD tomorrow and Friday I think. OPKs are being weird.
    3. Rave-we BD on Fri night before my trip and no skin lesions or blisters, DH is back to normal, hooray! I had a great trip to NM, my job on Sunday wasn't as crazy as most times I go there and we finished early! Also got to see a doc I used to work with who took me out for an awesome steak dinner, offered me to come and work for him any weekend I want (tempting, tempting.....).
    4. Small, cabin-like, near mountains and a lake. Cozy is the name of the game for me  :)

    3. R/R? Although I filed my personal taxes eons ago, I'm still trying to determine if I need to file taxes for an organization I'm the Treasurer of.  Stressing me out since I'm running out of days...

    4. GTKY: describe your dream home.  I love my current home.  It's a nice 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, full basement that's only partially finished, on a little over an acre.  I guess I would just make a few minor changes to some things and make the land flatter so we could use a bit more of it.

  • HI, all - checking in after an extended absence and wanted to say hello and catch up with everyone.

    1. Introduce yourself (if new).
I was a regular last year but have been TTA for several months as we prepared ourselves (raising/saving money, etc.) for a cycle of IVF using donor eggs. That cycle has finally arrived! We are trying for #1, have had five losses and after finally meeting and starting to work with the perfect RE for my situation, experienced secondary IF - couldn't get KU last year to save my life. A Dx of secondary IF when you never got to deliver baby #1 is a hard blow, but it's par for the course..... so here we are.

    2. Status?
Donor eggs arrive from bank to lab today! Will have a lining check u/s on Friday and that will determine the next dates, but basically in about a week, Dh will provide his contribution and the lab will thaw and fertilize the eggs and we will prepare for a fresh embryo transfer the last week in April.

    3. R/R?
Happy to be in the cycle I have been waiting so long for. Very hopeful, but anxious as anything because if I actually get KU, then I will have a new round of worry wash over me. But, I have immense trust in my team of docs and feel a lot of love and support from our family and friends.

    4. GTKY: describe your dream home.
On the water. Not picky about which type of water, but definitely on the water with a big porch.

Happy & sad to see so many familiar faces. I have continued to check in here on occasion and am still rooting for each of you!

  • Thanks, ladies! Always appreciated this board so much. Still do.

@vlagrl29 - not a stupid question at all! I am sure my face read WTF? when my RE described it that way to me too! Essentially, I never had trouble with conception and now I do. So since I conceived 5 babies without intervention (and quite easily) and then experienced a year of being unable to conceive even with intervention, he classifies it as secondary IF. Who knew?!

@fivetimesnoluck welcome back to the board. Gl for the transfer!

had my follow up apt with re this afternoon. Looks like this will be our last natural cycle which stinks because dh will be away for most of my fw.

We both know we would prob end up preg naturally with some more time, but unfortunately I feel like I need get this party started. I wish I was 10 years younger.

Rant: my insurance company has some pretty dumb rules in regards to all this.

  • @SP128. I hear ya.  I'm almost 42 that's why DH and I are jumping right in with IUI cycle this time.  No time to waste.  I've gotten pregnant on my own 3 times in less than 3 years and one was successful but we just need to hurry up and do this. I was surprised that my insurance covered the medication for IUI process but we will have to pay for insemination

@amberruka Yay for your DH being back to normal! You guys have been dealing with that for so long.
@fivetimesnoluck Welcome back to posting! Sending lots of T&P's your way for a successful transfer!

    1. Introduce yourself (if new). Not new but have been absent for a bit. CP at 5 weeks at the end of January.
    2. Status? CD 13 at the very beginning of FW. Cycle 11 for us/ 3 TTCAL
    3. R/R? DS turns 5 in 2 weeks! I don't even know how this is possible. We had Kindergarden round up a few weeks ago. We leave for vacation in a week!
    4. GTKY: describe your dream home.
Oh gosh, I have a whole board on Pinterest for this. I want a porch, big open entry way with brick in a herringbone pattern and exposed wood beams on a high ceiling. 2 stories plus a basement (a must for me living in Kansas!). Open layout but not quite as open as what we have now. A fenced yard to landscape and for DS to play in plus extra land for a garden and lots and lots of wildflowers!
  • @SeriouslySirius - um, your house sounds AMAZING! And so much detail.
