I am seriously so disgusted by this United thing. I am usually one to see both sides and not cast judgement, but I really do hope in this situation that everyone involved loses their job and the poor older doctor who got dragged down the plane and his lip bashed in makes a huge amount of money in a settlement.
I ordered my breast pump already. I am pretty that is what an insane person would do, but whatevs. They can't even technically order it until September so there's that. Atleast I don't have to worry about it now.
We also finally told my siblings that we are expecting. I was worried that my sister would be less than thrilled because she is getting married next year and I didn't want to steal her thunder but she was super excited for us. Phew!
I'm also very meh about announcing on Facebook...we told our parents and extended families this weekend and said "nothing on social media" and they were like "until when?" Until....I dunno...October....?? Why does it need to be on Facebook at all? Not my personal preference

ZOMG i am over here like having a panic attack. my parents just worked their butts off for a month renovating their rental condo in FL. i know they worked hard. but so many choices they made are terrible. for instance they put BLUE PLUSH CARPET in the main living space. this is on a beach. not only does it look like 1993, but so much sand is going to get in there. they put up WALL PAPER BORDER!!!! now my mom is special ordering heavy drapes FOR A BEACH FRONT PROPERTY! NO ONE WANTS A DUNGEON LOOK MOM! they keep looking to me for approval, and i am just dying on the inside.

I refused to be roped into looking up recipes, grocery shopping and cooking food I won't even be eating, so I told DH he's on his own. He couldn't even find a recipe so I relented and sent him one. He bought the ingredients, laid them out and then came over and asked me "what does mincing mean?"
And so here I am, making sliders so DH doesn't kill himself slicing onion and garlic.
@purplestars-2 do what you have to do, but a friend of mine went to a place like that at 16 weeks and was told it was a girl. She posted all over Facebook, had a name picked, etc. At the anatomy scan, she found out it was a boy. She paid around $100 I think for the elective US though.

DH is making me crazy. He's going to the Marlins home opener today and decided this morning to bring fancy onion and garlic sliders to grill. I refused to be roped into looking up recipes, grocery shopping and cooking food I won't even be eating, so I told DH he's on his own. He couldn't even find a recipe so I relented and sent him one. He bought the ingredients, laid them out and then came over and asked me "what does mincing mean?"
