    Recently I've had a lot of energy and a lot less nausea. It's almost a thing of the past--almost.

    I haven't barfed in 2 weeks...until this morning. And it was kinda random too, I wasn't feeling very nauseated.

    I have just a general appt. with my OB this week, but she is sending me to a special fetal doctor next week to do the anatomy scan because of my high risk pregnancy and genetics issues. 
    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? 
    I'm finally feeling hungry for food this week - the sick feeling seems to have left.

    I wish DH would spend more time with DD than with his phone...
    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
    Currently - Mint chocolate chip. I can't get enough of it! I was eating half a pint everyday after work!

    How far along are you? 18 weeks!!

    How big is your baby (babies)?  croissant. or an artichoke. frankly I don't think of croissants and artichokes being the same size. 

    Any upcoming appointments this week? no, not for two more weeks til the anatomy scan. 

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Uh, I had a terrible, terrible headache for 36 hours this weekend and tylenol was just not cutting it. and then I googled the safety of tylenol during pregnancy and felt guilty for taking it at all. But I'm not sure I would have been able to deal with a busy family weekend (and a three-hour-long two-year-old's birthday party) without it. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  hm. see headache rant above. I also feel like my calves are starting to get bigger-- I wore a pair of boots this weekend that has always fit me and they were so tight I had lines impressed in my legs for hours after I took them off. I remember my mom said her feet grew a size with each pregnancy and never went back-- if I have to get rid of all my shoes I'm going to cry. Anyone else with foot/leg swelling/general getting bigger issues?

    How big is your baby (babies)? a croissant 

    Any upcoming appointments this week? nope

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?  I'm having some weird hyperpigmentation- I have a few darker spots under my eyes, and a ring around my lips that is darker than my skin, but not quite as dark as my lips themselves. It looks like I got sloppy with some lipstick, and never really cleaned it off. Makeup usually hides it, but I hope it goes away after pregnancy!    

    Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Between the round ligament pain and the pelvic girdle pain, something always hurts. I'm sleeping ok thanks to my pregnancy pillow and lack of the mythical second tri energy, but I can see how adding in regular baby kicks in a few weeks is going to make this rough.

    Rave: I was having a lot of pregnancy related anxiety last night, and DH stayed up with me and held me until I finally fell asleep at 1 am. He said being tired at work was worth it as long as he knows I'm ok. I am a lucky woman. :heart:

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?     Mmmm...probably cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, or mackinac island fudge. But honestly, there are very few flavors I won't eat. Ice cream is my favorite.

    More back pain! He's only a half pound, how does my back hurt so much lol

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  
    I'm on Bedrest now, I have a tear in my placenta. It's not big enough to see on ultrasound but I spot anytime in on my feet for an extended time. I'm actually totally and having a melt down freak out about it. The doctor said she's seen this go a lot of ways and hopefully it will heal. But I don't think I've ever been this worried ever. I tried to stay positive for my husband over the weekend but now that he's at work I'm slowly (more like quickly) losing my sh*t.

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Strawberry!

    @Breath_Easy92 I'm sorry about the bed rest. That sounds quite challenging. Praying for the best for you and your baby.

    How big is your baby (babies)? I think it said pomegranate

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? My nose is really dry and my stomach is sore especially around my c section scar

    @mrs_tacos Sounds like melasma. I got it years ago from birth control pills (hormonal) and it never really went away. I found that the sun makes it worse, so always wear sunscreen and hats!

    Nothing this week, but A/S is on Monday. I can’t wait! So excited for my husband to see the little guy :love:

    Nothing new. Feeling larger than ever and now that it’s warmer out, I realized I definitely need to invest in some anti-chafing cream or shorts :(

    It’s 80 degrees today! We’re dog/house sitting in NYC this week, so it’s like a mini-vacation.

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

    Mint chocolate chip! Or banana with hot fudge. I have a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Boom Chocolatta Cookie Core waiting for me in the freezer…

    @thinkpositive2017 I've never heard of melasma, I'll have to look it up. Thankfully, I already wear sunscreen and hats religiously, thanks to my extra pasty Irish heritage. :)

    Not really. I've been sick the past few days and just run down but I do think it's more cold than baby.

    Completion bonuses on registries...Are those the percentage off coupons you get after the baby is born? Or is it a bonus for getting something of every suggested item on the registry? Also, best place to register? I've been doing Target and Amazon. There is no Babies R Us within 200+ miles.

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
    I'm honestly not a huge ice cream person. Caramel gelato is amazing though and I really love coffee ice cream. I usually only want a few spoonfuls though. My DH could and has finish the half gallon in a sitting.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  LO has been moving around a ton and I'm feeling him a lot more!  He likes to kick the doppler wand when I used it at home.  DH and I find it hilarious.

    Any upcoming appointments this week?  This coming Tuesday is my AS!

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I still haven't felt movement.. I'm experiencing a lot of bloating and constipation like 7 weeks was! My belly is so tight and painful. Nothing else really new though! Acne still evil..

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  I commented in randoms, but I had a bodily fluid exposure at work and I'm being tested for hiv, hep c, hep b. Meanwhile I'm just worried about flu, strep, wtc.

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?     Vanilla with Reeses chunks and rainbow sprinkles! Or "Blue Bunny" Peanut Butter Party. Yummm.

    Nope, not much has changed, still feeling normal. Luckily the extreme hunger has slowed down.

    No new symptoms although I could complain for days about a sore lower back and sore hips at night.
    Rant: I've had this week off for spring break. It has been so nice spending more time with DS! Looking forward to celebrating my neice's second bday and Easter festivities this weekend.
    Mint Chip, chocolate peanut butter, or coffee ice cream. I can't just choose one.

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? MS has eased up this week. Last Saturday, I had the best day. My body felt normal again... but it only lasted for the day. And then this morning I woke up with all sorts of pains. Literally everything feels sore and I have a shooting pain going down my left leg (sciatica perhaps?).

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Sooo excited for my three day weekend and to go to the spa tomorrow. I couldn't have planned for a better time to get a prenatal massage. Everything hurts today!

    More back pain and RLP this week, but also more movement. I've been killing potato chips and French onion dip, but also mango and oranges

    ETA Rant: I've worked 2 different schedules to cover people for the past week. I'm sl
    tired and ready for my normal schedule. 
     Rave: our good friends just had their baby Sunday night! He's so cute! They delivered where we will be and had a good experience. I poked around the room a lot to do my research. DH later said that holding the baby made him so excited to meet our LO :)

    Any upcoming appointments this week? Nope, end of the month.

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Nausea be goneeeeeeee.  I've been celebrating this for a week.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  This is the first week I've felt truly great in a long long time.  I'm happy to finally be at this point.  Truthfully, this pregnancy has really proven to me that I'm two and through.  It's not age (33, 34 when this one is born), so much as having nausea from 6-17w.  I was hoping it wouldn't last as long as it did with DS, but it was pretty much the same.  2.5 months of nausea is enough for me, and I don't want to do it again.  I'm going to try and enjoy the rest of the pregnancy as much as I can.  

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?      Ohhh ice cream.  I love Rocky Road (Breyers, tyvm), but I got this Friendly's ice cream a few months ago that's something caramel.  It's just about half ice cream and half caramel.  It's so rich it doesn't even need whip cream.  And Magnum double caramel ice cream bars.

    It's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday! 

    1. We're halfway there!!! (20 weeks) 

    2. Baby is as long as a banana apparently. 

    3. No upcoming appts. Our A/S was this past week so I have another month of waiting. 

    4. I started having some "episodes" this week where I get super dizzy, nauseous, and sweaty suddenly. I have to blast cold air and lay down. They pass generally quickly. Talked with my doctor's nurse yesterday and it is supposedly common and can be from blood sugar dropping. I need to carry around more snacks apparently because having time to eat is super easy as a teacher. (Sarcasm)

    5. I will rave that I gifted a practically new Spectra S2 breastpump, and it's beautiful. :love: Huge, but beautiful. 

    GTKY: I actually don't like to eat ice cream that much. I hate holding cold containers. But I'm a purest- homemade vanilla is the bomb. Followed by cherry vanilla with chocolate syrup and occasionally the tonight dough by Ben and Jerry's. but other than some B&J it's all about the Blue Bell. Nothing compares.

    How far along are you? 17 weeks

    How big is your baby (babies)? Depending on the app I use, a chipmunk, a turnip, a pomegranate, or a PlayStation controller. 

    Any upcoming appointments this week? I have the 3 hour glucose test in Thursday. Yuck!

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Lower back pain. I've sort of always had some issues with my back, but it is pretty bad lately. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Not so much. Feeling so far behind most of you ladies, but it is kinda nice to see what's coming next. 

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?     Normally I like Half Baked or Bluebell Dutch Chocolate. I have been known to drive over two hours to San Antonio for some Amy's Ice Cream. It's the closest location to me. I'm not really eating much ice cream these days. Not as into it as I normally am.

    Any upcoming appointments this week? nope

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? My right hip is hurting as is my right side back. I had these with all of my pregnancies, but it's earlier this time. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  Had our a/s on Monday and the tech was able to see the sex of both babies and put it in an envelope for us. We're cutting into two cakes tomorrow to finally find out and we are so excited to know! DH and I are ok with whatever, but my ds is really hoping for at least one boy. Being surrounded by all girls is tough on a 7 yr old boy!

    How far along are you? 20 weeks (yesterday)

    How big is your baby (babies)? A banana or a small cantaloupe. How are those the same??

    Any upcoming appointments this week? After having to go to the dr three weeks in a row after my anatomy scan showed short cervical length, I now get two weeks off and don't have to go back until 4/27!

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Had leg cramps for the first time last night. Woke up in the middle of the night and got an excruciating cramp in my right calf. After it settled down I went back to sleep and then later woke up again and got one in my left calf! I think my dinner last night was too salty, so need to make sure to stay hydrated. 

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  I'm very very happy that my cervical length stabilized this week, so that I can have less anxiety and I don't have to add any more restrictions. Hopefully it continues to be stable.

    GTKY: What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?     Mint oreo or mint chocolate chip...or anything mint chocolate!

    Any upcoming appointments this week? Anatomy scan on the 21st next week. So nervous!

    Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? None for me. Still nauseous a lot of the time.

    Rants/Raves/Questions?  We had an elective ultrasound on Monday this week. It was so great to see the little guy again. He was really busy in there. I have felt the baby a couple times in the last couple of weeks I think.
