@mrs_tacos ha! I love that! I don't understand why everyone's so obsessed with how we evict this tiny human, why do you (person asking) care if the baby come out my vagina or not...? There has been a lot of interest in what I'm going to do since I've already had a c-section. Well I'm gonna have a baby. Duh.
@JNR6510 I am in awe of how saintly you are. I would have gotten fed up the moment DH walked out and they were still there.
I just did a refresh of the spreadsheet, and I couldn't believe how many one-time posters there were! We have a ton of lurkers, you guys.
And that's after I moved a lot of people over! There were several people I didn't move, even though I haven't seen them post, because they ARE logging in. They should come play with us!

I found the lurkers post and shamelessly copied... I hope they don't mind... it's a compliment really... it's a really good idea.

I moved them all.... I hope no one minds. I figured it they do decide to become active, they can move themselves back over or ask one of us to do it. I'm hoping that if we can keep the spreadsheet current, it will be helpful for when we decide to do a Facebook group.
ETA: *TW* I actually found one member who had miscarried and was never moved, *end TW* and another member that left our board for October (Mommy Box thread anyone??). Plus a ton of members who had never logged back in after posting their intro threads. I finally figured out how to search members!!
Well that was a good reminder to finally add myself to the spreadsheet hahaha...this is the first time I've been not on mobile in I don't know how long!
My BF is job applications that want to know your entire life history and you know good and well while you are doing them that there is about a 5% chance of ever even hearing anything back. It wouldn't be so bad if the application didn't want you to attach a resume then also type in all your prior work experience. I mean isn't that what my resume is for?!
Second BF is the thunder storm coming through. It turns the dog into a basket case which is not fun for anyone.
@MrsJessS omg that is a total pet peeve. Especially with online applications. I uploaded my resume. That should be enough. But noooooo, of course they have a fill in the blank section where they want all of the information all over again. Definitely feel like most of the time resumes only get skimmed through.
the owner of my company is pissing me off...he's FINALLY reading the replying to emails. but he's replying to things that have already been resolved, but replying to emails that are 3 weeks old and are no longer relevant. However, the 50+ outstanding items that i need answers to go on being ignored. ughhhh... it is seriously the most mondayest monday to ever monday ever! i just want to cry and go home...i'm still going thru emails. there were 600 that came in during the weekend (we usually get 400).
@Msashley2010 and the timeline for replying to applications is insane. I literally got a rejection email last week from a job I applied for in August or September of last year!
I'm mad at my placenta. Yep, you read that right. By this point, I was regularly feeling DS (posterior) but this time (anterior) I'm still just *maybe* feeling very light movement. I'm petty and want to feel my baby NOWWWWW.
@angeladowns1 I feel the same! I also have an anterior placenta and I'm like if I have to endure this MS... I at least want to enjoy the fun parts of being pregnant. Like feeling my LO move!
@wyomama0427 I don't remember anyone her actually having drama with her, just being a little uncomfortable with some things she said. When was anyone racist or condescending to her? Am I forgetting things? Also, it's really not cool to go bad mouthing one board on another board. She's lucky these BMBs are relatively new, because that will get you hardcore flamed many other places on TB.
@mrs_tacos I was having a hard time remembering anyone being rude or condescending or racist to her... ever... in fact I remember people actually being interested because she said she was Muslim and people were interested in the names she was talking about...
I remember having a theory that she was an AE for someone else who had had drama, because a few things were just very similar, but I'll have to go back and and look at old posts to remember who it was. If so, it could explain the odd accusations. I also still think it's really weird that a whole other BMB was like, "Oh, she says everyone over there is racist. Seems legit, welcome to our group."
@mrs_tacos I don't remember seeing anything being called out at racist but an AE would be an interesting explanation for her. Didn't her username change too?
she wrote that comment the same day she was very active in our bmb. basically the driving style conversation made her leave us? oh and i think she was one of the ones with the crazy sex lifestyle! her username was SayaSa. So basically the fact she offended a few of us by how she described how she drives and how some of us were mindblown about how the hell one has sex that often makes us racist??
Also we were really supportive about her name choices including her saying that she was going to show DH all the positive responses to the names. Sooo we actually weren't racist at all to her.
I don't care what they do in their own home or how often. I am sad and confused that she felt that comments towards her were racist in nature, but I'm thinking it's best to let this one go.
ETA: I realized it sounds like I'm trying to tell you all what to do on this one, but I meant that this is what I am going to do.
I totally remember her. I still call BS on that much sex. No way. And how on earth did she think we were mean? I feel like that was back before we decided to let our true snark out. Maybe there are more "men like drivers" over in Oct.
So my BF (a little late in the day) is the person who is in charge of security clearances at the medical group here. I've been trying to get on to volunteer to keep up my skills while we're stationed overseas since we arrived in September. The last step was to complete an updated security clearance. I turned in the paperwork as requested over a month ago. I get an email today asking me if I was 'having trouble filling out the paperwork' from the guy at the med group responsible for it. Included on the email via CC were my supervising MD, the department security manager, & the chief of staff.
My response to this snarky email was 'no, I'm not having trouble with the paperwork. I turned it in to you on X date. You made copies of it and told me you would forward it to Mr. X, the base security manager to complete my background check and security clearance. You told me your office had just been moved to your current location and things were crazy, but it shouldn't take long to get it back so I could start seeing patients again'. I, too included all those people in my response. No sir are you going to pass the buck to me! I did what I was told when I was told....played this game long enough bucko!
New BF. We just got home from the clinic. DH was in a lot of pain today and I was worried he had some kind of stress fracture... turns out he has gout. Ughhhhhh what??

Whaaaat? At such a young age? How crazy!! Will they start him on the medication and encourage the diet?

@mrs_tacos they got him started on medicine to help with the pain and the flare ups, they said we need to talk to our primary to see if it keeps happening and if they want him on a long term medication. @Sugargirl1019 the diet thing is so strange, we dont drink.. like ever, we rarely eat red meat, we don't eat a ton of processed foods since I mostly cook, the only thing on the "bad" list they gave us he's even had in the last year or more was bacon! His mom has gout too so I'm sure that's a huge reason but yeah, he's almost 23... and he's actually really healthy. No tobacco or alcohol, pretty good diet... it's so weird. Ughhh.
@wyomama0427 Sorry. Hopefully we finds some relief soon without having to make too many adjustments. My BF (late) is my co-workers. The local schools had Spring Break last week, so a lot of people were off. I worked a different schedule last week to cover, and now I'm on another different shift this week to cover for someone else. We're talking a five hour difference in the shift, not just staying an hour late or something. Then yesterday when people came back, they're bitching about being back at work. Um... at least you had time off and enjoyed your family for a week on a cruise while others stayed here and filled in for you. Blah.
@wyomama0427 I am sorry to hear about DH. My dad just was diagnosed with gout, so I'm starting to learn a little more about it. I cant imagine at such a young age and healthy. Hopefully it will just be a one time thing and he wont have to go on medication.
@wyomama0427 Wow! That's crazy at such a young age. I wonder if in his case its more hereditary and less diet since it sounds like he doesn't eat/drink the things that supposedly cause gout. Hope you can find some answers and his meds work for him.
New BF. We just got home from the clinic. DH was in a lot of pain today and I was worried he had some kind of stress fracture... turns out he has gout. Ughhhhhh what??
I think H was 33 when he had his first gout flare up. Our doctor at the time told him, "I just pretend you're 20 years older than you are, and then diagnose you" (because he also has had some serious blood clots). He was on Allopurinol and that helped him (until they put him on Coumadin, you can't take them together. Now that he's a Coumadin-failure, I suppose he could go back on it).
It's weird, but manageable The Allopurinol is a daily med, and he didn't have any side effects. They switched him to Colchicine (as needed during flare ups) because it can be taken with the Coumadin he was on.
Thanks everyone!! @DPandMB the doctor we saw at the clinic did say that there's a chance he could not have any more flare ups for a long time, so that gave me hope! @mrsmarygs that's what I was thinking too, because he is so young and the diet part doesn't make sense at all. Ugh. @jena333-2 For now they've just prescribed him medicine to treat this flare up and if he doesn't have another one we probably won't do a long term medicine. She said she wouldn't do any long term medicine right now because starting it during a flare up could make the flare up worse... so that's dumb. Thanks for sharing your experience! It's good to know that it's manageable for sure. The doctor said gout before she even did the blood work, she just knew and I was like no way... he just sprained his ankle or something... nope!
@wyomama0427 has he ever had this problem before? i just think it's strange that they are like "it's Gout!" when he's perfectly healthy and young otherwise. I would get another opinion, if you can. I just would be careful about just accepting the diagnosis from an urgent care clinic, especially because how that kind of diagnosis can affect things that we've discussed that he potentially wants to do, as in disqualify him.
