Disordered Endometrium

Has anyone here been dx'd with this?

I stopped birth control in Nov 2015 and everything has been a mess since then.

Was first dx'd with PCOS but it wasn't properly tested and never fit me completely. So I got second opinions and went through an endometrial biopsy to get this new dx.

I find very few articles on it, and basically my doctor said that my endometrium wants to shed at different times, causing irregular cycles, anovulation and breakthrough bleeding.

Her cure for this is birth control for 2-3 months.

This just doesn't sit right with me. I feel like birth control is what got me into this mess.

So I'd love to hear from someone who has been through the same/similar thing.

I failed a progesterone challenge a year ago. This didn't cause my doctors as much distress as you'd think it would do. My AMH is 6.4 so I'm not in early menopause. My docs don't want to listen to my theory of hypothalamic amenorrhea even though I don't have a thyroid.
