So Google somehow decided this morning that my laptop is in the U.K. and is refusing to let me search anything other than Google UK. It's going on 20 minutes now that tech support has been muddling remotely with it and no success. I actually WANT to get work done today.

@curlyq423 that sounds absolutely glorious. It's raining here, maybe snowing if it gets cold enough, as well. I got all my work done through tomorrow on Monday, so I'm fully intending on vegging out on all the junk food I bought yesterday, binge watching gilmore girls and maybe I'll take a shower. Doing it all without a threenager would make it better, but I don't have anywhere to send her lol

Im supposed to go through all that stuff people gave us for baby (my sister and SIL) and sort it by age/sex, in the 8 luggage i see right in front of me. 
I ve been meaning to do it for the past 4 weeks. I put everything in the 2nd living room, the one i never use, nor see, and covered everything with comforters.... 
I still go and take a look at it every morning... Thibking maybe it ll finaly disapear by itself and be done.... Lol

@yasandson I think that way about food magically appearing. I'll go stare at the fridge and pantry, close them and then return a few minutes later, convinced that something delicious has been summoned.

I am heading out soon to grab something to eat before my NT scan. Question is, what do I want ? Chipotle always sounds good. But I'm kind of sick of it too.

@carries2018 that does sound amazing!!! We have a great deli in the town where my scan is. I had listeria hotdogs for dinner last night. Might as well go for the encore! Any other suggestions ?! Haha

DH and I were about to sit down to a game of Magic: The Gathering and I suddenly felt like I was going to get sick. It was kind of crazy because I haven't been nauseous at all this entire pregnancy. So I'm puking my breakfast and I hear him telling me to hurry up. He didn't know I was throwing up. I finish, flush, wash my mouth out and come back. I say "sorry, I just threw up my breakfast." His response: "Thats gross, I didn't need to know that." Thanks for the empathy asshole. I plan to projectile vomit on him next time. Hopefully while he's eating.

I'm sitting here in the parking lot for my first tri screening. My appt isn't for another hour! This chic fil a lemonade will keep me company until then. Yep stopped and got a lemonade after I grabbed lunch at Mezeh ( kind of like chipotle but Mediterranean rice meat and condiments). It's kind of funny , the same building has a gastroenterology and center for digestive health facility too. Walking in will people think my belly is baby or poop?

Does anyone else get bothered when they hear a parent refer to watching their kids as "babysitting"? I overheard a friend call her husband and ask if he could babysit their daughter while she went to IKEA with me on Saturday, and it had me thinking about other times I have heard this. It just rubs me the wrong way and I'm sure they don't mean for it to sound wrong, but it always just makes me feel like the parenting duties aren't equal.

@ChocolateIsLife i feel that way, but then i say "H can you watch the girls on saturday?" which is probably the same. i dont mean it like that, just normally we assume we will both be home so if we have to do an errand it is whatever just go. but if i specifically need him to be home bc i wont be that is how i phrase it. i dont know how else to haha.

My old BMB used to refer to the "Love it's" as "Love Tits". 

This is me every time I see a "Love It" and think "Love tit"

@carries2018 yeah I think I would use the term "watch" as well. It doesn't seem the same as babysit though. I think in my head, I see the term babysit as something I would ask a friend or family to do as a favor, or pay a babysitter. I sound nit-picky just typing this out . I asked DH what he thought about using that term, and he said "it aint me babe", so I'm guessing he feels the same. This might just be one of those things that I change my opinion about once I'm on the other side.

@ChocolateIsLife I hate that! And I think there's a big difference btw confirming with DH that he'll be home and can watch the kids vs. referring to him as "babysitting" like hes doing you a favor. They're his kids too, he's a parent. It's called parenting.

I'm tired of taking excedrin every day just for the large amount of caffeine that will make my headache go away. So I've resorted to chugging 2 super cold cokes to get all the caffeine at one time. Works, but good grief the burping that results and all those empty calories. Whatevs.

Oh so I almost forgot this random. Had a baby shower for a friend this last weekend. Bought the gift that afternoon. Went home to wrap it up and take a nap. Get up, put on my coat to leave, kiss hubby goodbye and take one last look at the invite to put the address in my gps. I missed the shower by 2 hours. Apparently I got it in my head it was at 7, but it was actually at 5. Thank goodness I had looked at the invite one last time. Luckily the friend takes apologies in Olive Garden lunches.
ETA: this totally could have gone in "you know you're pregnant when" but it was too far down the page and I was too lazy to go looking for it. Also lucky, the shower recipient knows my condition already and first thing she said back when I apologized was "pregnancy brain!"

@cooaladolll I totally did that once. I wasn't pg just confused haha. The crazy part is that it was a joint shower, when DH and I arrived we hadn't missed anything. I don't know what they did for the first 2 hours but I'm glad we missed it because we ended up being there for 3 hours angways! We were there for the food, games, gift opening, everything.

@ChocolateIsLife My biggest parenting pet peeve is women asking their spouses if they will babysit their own kids.  Drives me BSC.  I tend to tell hubby he is in charge when I don't plan on being around.  This Sunday I have a baby shower to go to so he is in charge.  I even say it when I am home and am done adulting for the night.  Taking a bath you are in charge.  Although tonight the oldest came in to tattle on daddy for not putting the babies to bed at 7:30.  "Mommy it is 7:39 and daddy still hasn't put the babies to bed." Then she sighed as she put her hand on my shoulder and shook her head which had me rolling for 30 minutes.  Hubby says she is a mini me.

@cooaladolll I totally did that with my then-BFF's bridal shower. Went to leave, called my mom that I was on my way to come get her, picked up the invite for the address....it was over at the time I was leaving. I frantically texted her and explained and then brought the gift to her Scentsy party, bought a bunch from the party and signed up to host my own party to try to make up for it. 

But this friend has proceeded to show up to like 3 of the 14 birthday parties between all 3 of my kids over the years. So I don't feel bad anymore
