1. 38 weeks!

2. Pumpkin.

3. Pink, name undecided.

4. chiro today, NST/routine prenatal Thursday afternoon.

5. I'm having a hard time getting up and getting out of bed. Some lightning crotch, lots of BH.  That's about it. I am feeling good overall.

6. Rant: We asked my mom to come for the month of April (she lives across the country). She agreed. The primary reason is to stay with our girls when it's time to give birth. Now all of a sudden it's come to light that she wants to stay the entire summer, like until mid-August! WTF. No! I've addressed it kindly with her a few times, but she is still pushing for mid-June, which is still too long. And we just received something in the mail that she put through a forwarding request for all her mail (and my deceased step-dad's since she manages his estate) through 8/15/17. I am going to have to address this more bluntly obviously, but it is NOT a stressor I need to be dealing with right now. At all.

7. I washed all the baby's wool pants and my 3 wraps.  I made a lot of progress packing the hospital bag. I don't think I can finish packing it until labor b/c I need to use the rest of the items I will be packing until then. DH helped me take apart the cosleeper last night and we washed the washable components so we will be reassembling that tonight.

8. I hope she has DH's straight teeth, perfect skin (his whole life, even as a teen). I hope she has my body shape and hair texture (wavy). We both have full/luscious lips so I'm pretty sure she will, too, as both our other girls do. I can't wait to see her little face and who she resembles! My girls are arguing that they each hope she looks like them. LOL

2. Baby is measuring right on track. Hoping for a 6 pounder.

4. No appts this week. My doc office does bi-weekly appointments right up until 40 weeks.
5. Back hurts a lot, but doesn't feel like contractions. Sleep at night is miserable.
6. DH is at work today. I'm home with a toddler all day. It's just hard because I can hardly move. I feel bad he keeps himself entertained pretty much all day.
7. Car seat installed!
8. From dad: hoping he is tall since dad is 6.2. From mom: Smooth skin. My Ds has bad excema I'm hoping baby doesn't have same issues.

2. How big is baby? Pumpkin/winter melon/fried chicken bucket (that sounds like a classy comparison) 

3. Team pink, blue, green? Name determined? Pink--first name Lucy, middle name still unsure. 

4. Appts this week?  Wednesday OB check at 38+2. 

5. Symptoms?  Tons of contractions. Pain at top of bump where her butt is stretching out my muscles. Ow. Headache lately. Some reflux still. Just tired. So much back and pelvic and hip pain.

6. Rants/Raves?  So last night when I was having all those contractions, DH got a kick in the pants. All in two hours while I was lying down trying to rest, he packed his hospital bag, paid the bills, and did our taxes. It was hilarious how panicked he was. Lol. 

7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Nested! Cleaned everything. Hospital bag for sure done. Working on finishing hanging things in nursery. DH assembled the mobile and the rocking napper. After I cleaned the whole house though I was in a ton of pain, so I didn't end up sanitizing pump parts or bottles. Still need to do that. 

8. What physical attributes do you hope baby gets from each of you?  From me--eyes, body type, metabolism. From him--complexion, teeth, eyesight, lack of eczema, posture.

1. How far along are you?: 37 weeks!  I can't believe how close I am getting to my due date

2. How big is baby?: romaine lettuce

3. Team pink, blue, green? Name determined? Pink, Charlotte Grace

4. Appts this week?: regular ob appointment tomorrow.  I literally feel nothing, so I'm not expecting any progress haha

5. Symptoms?: insomnia, extreme fatigue, upper back pain, reflux

6. Rants/Raves?: today is my first day off for maternity leave.  I'm not sure how I feel about this, I feel so lazy and lonely!  My job was so fast paced and  now I feel like everything came to a halt.  I'm so stir crazy.  I know I truly need the rest since I've been really hurting at work lately, but I'm not adjusting well so far.

7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week?: there's nothing really left to do!  I just need to touch up household cleaning, but we're pretty much ready to rock and roll otherwise!

8. What physical attributes do you hope baby gets from each of you?: from DH: I truly hope she gets DH's eyes, his eye color is stunning!  His long eyelashes, his height, his nose, his full lips

From me: my hair, my cheeks, my eyebrows. 

Looking at some of our more detailed ultrasounds, it does look like she could have DH's larger eye shape and my chubby baby cheeks/face shape, but we won't know for sure until she's here!  I'm getting so anxious and excited to meet this little lady

2. How big is baby? Winter melon

3. Team pink, blue, green? Name determined? Pink - Hailey Grace

4. Appts this week?  This morning (NST/OB) and Thursday (Ultrasound)

5. Symptoms?  Tons of contractions - both real and braxton hicks.  The lightening crotch has gotten real too - man it feels so awkward to walk with how low she is right now. 

6. Rants/Raves?  Friday night was brutal with 6 hrs of contractions 3 min long and 3 min apart - they just never got painful.  Glad to be measuring 2 cm dialated and almost completely effaced but seriously thought I might be further along than that.  Oh well!

7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week? DH cleaned the house from top to bottom from midnight until 5 am on Friday/Saturday while I had contractions - I told him I should've faked contractions sooner!  Scheduled the induction this morning for 4/14 if baby girl isn't here by then! So exciting to have a date!

8. What physical attributes do you hope baby gets from each of you?  From me--eye color and hair.  From him- eyesight and skin tone (he is much more olive than my pasty white!).

1. How far along are you: 39 weeks

2. How big is baby: A pumpkin

3. Team Blue, Pink or Green: Pink 

4. Appts this week: A BPP ultrasound and a Midwife visit on Wednesday. My doc is out of town until Monday, so I've been seeing midwives. On Friday they explained that if the baby drops below the 10th percentile on the growth chart ( shes at 11% now) on Wednesday they may want to induce. I'm unsure if a covering midwife will want to make that call, or wait until I see my OB on Monday.

5. Less of an appetite, and nausea when I eat. It feels like the first trimester all over. BH that have at times gotten a bit more painful, but nothing regular. Pelvic pain.

6. I don't necessarily want to be induced- but man would it be nice to get this over with!

7. Finished her nursery, and did some major cleaning and organizing at home and work.

8. Him: Leadership, intellect, straight teeth   Me: Hair and eyes, and ability to adapt to different situations

2. How big is baby?  At our 36+1 appointment baby was estimated to be 7 lbs 6 ounces

4. Appts this week?  None this week still on 2 week rotations

5. Symptoms?  Just feeling huge  more BH started to feel naseous 

6. Rants/Raves?  Rant:  Just 4 more days of work until Maternity Leave!  Rant:  Been way more nervous and anxious about the baby.  Nightmares have been making me paranoid something will go wrong and I can't shake the feelings

7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week?  Started to pack the hospital bags, found a pediatrician but still need to call.  

8. What physical attributes do you hope baby gets from each of you?  Husbands skin (I'm too pale) also his broad shoulders, as for me..maybe my height?

@MWoodside that totally sounds frustrating, I hope it works out.

1. How far along are you? Today was my EDD!  Little man is exactly a month old - time flies! 

2. How big is baby? I will find out Wednesday, but I can tell he's gaining!

4. Appts this week? I just had a follow up with my OB today - he told me I could wean off one of my two blood pressure meds (yay!!!) and he says my incision is completely healed.  However, it's a bit tender still on the side that opened and got infected so hopefully that goes away soon

5. Symptoms? does sleep deprivation count?

6. Rants/Raves? Raves: OMG my baby is a month old today!!!!

7. What have you done to prepare for baby this week?  We received some of the gifts today from my work shower that was supposed to happen lol

8. What physical attributes do you hope baby gets from each of you?  He has my mouth, nose, forehead, and eye shape, he has DH's chin and ears!
