How far along are you? 28 weeks (hey 3rd tri, hey)
How big is baby? a rollerblade
Upcoming appointments this week? Yep today is my monthly check-up and then Friday I get to take the 3hr gd test. Funnnnn.
Any new symptoms or changes? Just so tired all the time.
Rants/Raves/Questions? It's getting so real now. We have a tour of the maternity ward tomorrow. We are new to the state so we've never even been in the hospital before. It's amazing how fast, yet slow the time can go. I want it to be done and meet this LO already, but at the same time I'm like take your time LO, this FT mom and dad are petrified of what to do with you.
What was the last book you read? Room. It was good. Depressing but good. I selfishly made this the question bc I need some good books.
@berg OK so I stumbled upon the movie Room (I hadn't read the book) one night and oh my god... how terribly sad. Very good, but sad. How far along are you? 29w
How big is baby? a loaf of cinnamon swirl bread
Upcoming appointments this week? I had my prenatal today (nothing eventful) and then go for another IUGR scan in 1.5 weeks.
Any new symptoms or changes? Oh the heartburn! So much worse even with avoiding trigger foods. Also sleep is just not happening
Rants/Raves/Questions? Might get more snow this weekend. Damn you mother nature! I need to get this new roof on or risk delaying the listing of my house until after LO arrives.
What was the last book you read? Oh I'm the worst at finishing books even if they're amazing. I used to read constantly, but the two toddlers have sucked all the motivation out of me once I get home from a long day at the office. Inferno by Dan Brown is the last book I made it through. I'm pathetic.
@Elyse1384 yeah we have snow expected over here on the western part of the state too. I am not amused. Dan Brown is good! I haven't read Inferno yet. Might have to get that one.
Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, not until next week when I will have an U/S and take my glucose test.
Any new symptoms or changes? I'm experiencing intermittent hand and feet swelling for the first time in any of my pregnancies and it's terrible! I have no ankles at all some nights. I'm so anxious about this symptom as it warms up. I wonder why I am getting it this time but never did before? My job has not changed in terms of physicality so it's interesting to me.
Rants/Raves/Questions? As the movements of this baby get bigger and I start to feel the sweeping motions of arms and legs, I connect more and more with this baby and I am just getting so excited to meet him. I know what you mean, @berg, it's a conflicting feeling of wanting to be done but also wanting more time to prepare for this big change coming.
What was the last book you read? I used to read so much but not nearly as much these days. I read The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson back in September while I was on a 4-day girls trip. It was a cute YA novel that was easy to read, perfect for a beach vacation. Before that I read Me Before You by Jojo Moyes which broke my heart into a million pieces but I kind of love those sort of books so I really liked it. I'm not going to watch the movie, though, because I don't think I can go through those emotions again live and in color!

Rants/Raves/Questions? My toddler has been a complete asshole for 3 days and I'm ready to let her out into the wild.
What was the last book you read? Let's see.... I think it was " On the night you were born" last night while reading to my DD.
