Re: Weekly Symptoms 3/27

  • 17+3!

A lot of my previous symptoms have been diminishing but one that seems to stay is the persistent acne no matter what products I use and terrible fatigue. I am tired all the time. I still have occasional bouts of nausea and some indigestion when something I eat doesn't agree with it but everything has been good other than that.

Sometimes I feel so good the idea of me being pregnant is *almost* hard to believe because I'm not really showing and not feeling any movement either. My monthly appointments to hear the heartbeat are my only solid indication that everything is going okay in there lol

  • 15+1 - only real symptom is vomitting.  I'm not even nauseous, just throwing every morning now.  It should be on the downward swing not ramping up.... ugh
  • 15 weeks tomorrow. Insomnia has kicked in. Food doesn't taste good. Just waiting for the energy from the magical second trimester.
  • Still tired at 15w4. And I've been getting killer headaches every couple weeks. I read that headaches are a normal symptom but these are really bad migraine type headaches that come with a bit of nausea. Hooray :(

  • 13+3

after a bad tummy bug on Saturday I started feeling better yesterday, besides a terrible headache. I actually started to think to myself that I felt great. Then all of a sudden I got a terrible bout of morning sickness and everything seemed to make it worse. I could barely sleep last night from the nausea and now the headache is back.

  • 15+5 and suddenly so tired again! Headaches have kicked in and come on so suddenly and strong. Still fighting the good fight against constipation and weird jawline acne but both seem to be getting better. I'm convinced that my boobs are going to hurt for all of eternity.

My boobs are now just a highway of blue veins.  They've also increased in sensitivity.  Lots of trapped gas lately.  Indiscriminate indegestion.

  • 14+6 Been feeling great, which is such a nice change from being constantly nauseous. It is a little worrisome at times as I don't "feel" pregnant and I'm not showing either, just a small amount of bloat. Last weekend I was having killer migraines, including two ocular migraines two days in a row. Haven't had one of those in 7-8 years. My acne has finally cleared up, my face was really suffering these last couple weeks. And my nose isn't constantly stuffy like it has been the last month or so. I guess I'm finally feeling that second tri energy, even though I'm still getting winded easily.

  • 15 today! I get headaches a lot and have really bad insomnia at night. Overall, though, I feel a million times better than I did at 15 weeks with DD, so I'll take it!
  • 16+3 and feeling good!  Slight headaches every now and again and sinus pressure comes and goes. The sinus pressure makes my ear hurt :( Also I am feeling movement at least 2 -3 times a day so that is reassuring.
  • 16 + 2 Crazy vivid dreams that keep me from sleeping too well. I have also had mega heartburn almost every day and headaches (though it could be the weather getting warmer too). Breasts are painfully sensitive which really stinks because they're also starting to itch and trying to put lotion on sore boobs is not my idea of fun. Other than that, just watching my blump get bigger and feeling my uterus halfway to my belly button is quite exciting.

15+1. Off and on indigestion/acid reflux at night that doesn't discriminate. Exhaustion is unreal. Getting comfortable at night is impossible.

Eta: my boobs are so unbearable. The blue vein highway is serious and they are just so sensitive nips included.
  • 14 weeks. Frequent waking at night. Snappy. Nausea/vomiting has decreased but not completely gone. Peeing all the time. Sore breasts, esp when LO wants to BF. Weird vivid dreams. Tired.

  • 14+1

Still nauseous in the evening, metallic taste won't seem to go away, and the constant burping is killing my husband.

But, I was able to eat meat and vegetables yesterday evening and it all stayed down. So, I hope that means great things are coming!
  • 15+4
all day nausea has been replaced by random vomiting. Lovely.

Headaches come and go; acid reflux every night no matter what I eat. If DS's pregnancy is any indication, these won't go away until delivery.
  • 16 weeks

Still so nauseous! Ugh! It was a struggle not to barf at my desk this morning. Between the nausea and headaches, I just want to stay in bed in the dark all day.

On on the plus side, I have had a lot more energy lately. Finally managed to get our closets completely unpacked and set up. Still have a lot more work to do with the home renovations too, so the energy boost is wonderful.
  • 16+1
    •sensitive nipples
    •still rocking my short fuse
•I'm still exhausted (I dont remember being this tired at this point last time)
•crazy dreams about everyone and their mom
•and the chest/back acne is popping up
•also my hip joint area on my right side is killing me, it gets so bad some days that I have to limp.

  • 17 + 1

such horrible sharp harp pains in my uterus. Anyone else ever have that? They hurt so bad.

Yessss my OB said this was fairly normal, she said it's pretty normal to have it on an off, having them during a week of growth and then not so much the next week. She said the extra sharpness I've been feeling could be from the scar tissue from my c-section :\

    I have this too!

I've also had these weird sensations. It feels almost like a shock to my abdomen but it isn't painful. Usually it happens when I am changing positions or if I get up or move to quickly. It catches me by surprise and I usually end up yelping from shock and it freaks my SO out every time it happens.

YES I'm getting those too! Mine feel like a really tight stretching, like something is being pulled really tight.. it doesn't hurt but it feels weird and uncomfortable as hell! It happens when changing positions or picking up DS, it's the weirdest thing ever and I HATE IT. I've been getting it on either side of my belly button. I'd pay money for it to stop right now lol

That's round ligament pain. Sometimes it HURTS but it always goes away as quick as it came.

@Becky012016 I had RLP with DS and this feels so much different, it's so weird, it could be but it's just really high up, like starting above my belly button. It isn't sharp like the RLP I had with DS was or what I was getting a few weeks ago. It almost feels like muscle spasms.. it very well could be RLP just happening/feeling differently than I have felt before
  • @wyomama0427 I have the same thing sometimes, and my doctor told me it could be very mild Braxton Hicks. Whatever it is, it feels weird. I feel it a lot when I'm finishing peeing, like somehow the release of those muscles causes everything to stretch.

  • 13 weeks and 3 days, definitely feel much better, felt better as soon as I was 13 weeks but of course, it's too soon to say, I hope the nausea and sickness are gone for good and only comes to greet me once in a while
  • I'm 17 weeks and 5 days... woke up with an awful headache today and sinus problems.
Other than that, lightning crotch strikes every now and then, and I just keep getting bigger.

  • Holy insomnia. Not what I need right now but oh well. I'm pretty sure I could put my old English bulldog to shame with the gas I've had. WTH. Hip issues again so I will be going back to the chiro with this pregnancy. And the sorest nips ever when nursing. Needless to say I am starting to when him.

That's what was so weird about mine. Its constant. It doesn't go away. Its not like the stand up too quickly and get a really sharp pain for 5 seconds. Its constant and really hurts.

  • @DPandMB Im a FTM so I have no real experience, but I think it's growing pains.  Ive been getting this too.   Like stabby, stretchy pains in uterus for ~20 minutes at a time.  It's actually been waking me up the last few evenings.  I know this isn't possible, but I try to imagine it as baby stretching.   The RLP everyone describes as being in your abdomen, which is not where it's happening for me. Haha

  • @DPandMB butt sex is usually an on going joke between the both of us as he knows it's a no go and i usually have a snarky remark. Honestly the crying was totally out of character and unnecessary. I started laughing at myself while bawling. I was a mess.

DH gets excited about the MUD and crazy posts lol. I told him about the one with me and he went, oh god they are lucky it's the internet because you are not a tree anyone wants to be barking up lol.  (Lowkey called me a bitch - i dont deny that - but he followed up with "so what happened? Did you set her straight?")
  • @mrs_tacos ugh Braxton hicks! yuck. I had a lot of those in the last few weeks with DS. I don't think what I'm getting is those either, I'll have to talk to my doctor here in a few weeks and see what she thinks because it's just the weirdest thing! I almost think it's just random muscle spasms.

@labby18 with all this constipation I'd probably cry at the suggestion too!!! Being constipated for this long is seriously the most uncomfortable feeling ever let's not add to it lol.
  • @Msashley2010 I can completely relate to your post, especially the second paragraph. I'm 17+1 and I still can't believe there's a baby in there. I have until 20w for my next appt and it's probably the longest I've waited between appointments to hear the heartbeat, etc. Here's hoping we'll feel some kicks or flutters soon!
  • @margareth I get soooo anxious waiting! If I could feel a kick or flutter I think I'd feel a whole lot better. I've also gotten myself super worked up cause now that my anatomy scan is scheduled for next week now I'm all paranoid about what ifs. I have managed to avoid stressing out about it until now but now it's all I can think about.
  • So I as I was working out last night it felt like someone kicked me straight in the vagina and today I am super sore down there. So sore that I an not walk straight or cross my legs when I sit! I asked the midwife today if it was normal and she said yes.  It was everything stretching and softening. Ouch!!!

Also, she started to measure my uterus and when she was pressing on my abdomen the baby either kicked or rolled and did it again when she put the Doppler on me :) It made me jump because it was the strongest movement I have felt from little bean!
  • 16+6 today

    Acne, heartburn, bloating.

I'm not taking iron.. and therefore not constipated... um.. should I...? I wasn't anemia last blood test.
