There are a lot of different sections to the forums here, all geared towards people in different parts of their processes. This section is designed for women who are not currently pregnant or trying to conceive.
I recomend you check out the 2nd Trimester section and also your BMB. A BMB is where all the women due the same month hang out together and chat and share their experiences. Since many of you are going through similar things at similar times it can be very helpful. They are also one of the busier parts of the forum! If you know your due date, you can find your BMB and hopefully find some people to relate to!

What brings you to BOTB? Want to get into the community again! I participated in TTGP and then my BMB but dropped off part way through pregnancy when work became too much and I got too stressed trying to keep up with the boards.
When will you start TTC? Sometime later this year, hopefully. There is no set date. I lost my job and only recently got a new one with insurance or else we would have been trying already.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.) We have one DD whom is 18mo. One dog named Allie. We have been married since 5/15/15. He is in construction and going back to school to become an electrition. I am a Certified Medical Assistant at an OB/Gyn office.
What brings you to BOTB? We have two children already. DS is 4.5 and DD is 2.5! We are starting to plan for a third child!
When will you start TTC? We will start later this year, in May!
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.) As stated above we currently have 2 wonderful kids! We have 2 dachshunds, a mini Hereford, and a few chickens. I am a SAHM & my husband is a Farmer. Our favorite season is summer and we love the beach.

Renting from a friend now. I currantly am the sole financial provider, my husband has been trying to get work for ages. @chinadoll2522 welcome! I’ve too have always wanted to be a mom for as long as I could remember! I feel like it’s my “destiny” as cheesy as that may sound. Some people are born to be president, some born to be lawyers and astronauts, and I feel like I was born to be a mom. I’m sure lots of women feel this way, especially on TB 😂
Thank you. And yes! Even at a young age I just knew that having kids is what I want most. I'm ready to be a mom and now I'm just waiting for some life stuff to settle.
Also, I've been collecting baby things over the years...clothing, toys and books. I have a bucket full...some people think I'm crazy. I can't be the only one who does this?
Age (you and SO): 28/34 What brings you to BOTB? We have two daughters aged 3 and almost 2. I’ve been struggling with the decision on whether or not to try for a third. I very much want another one, but do not have much in the way of a support system to help watch my children. In the past this has caused the healing process after birth to last much longer than necessary, and has exacerbated PPD after both births, which in turn have caused marital strain. I fear if I don’t have a third I’ll regret it though. I could definitely use some advice! When will you start TTC? We have a vacation planned for next month so, if we decide to start TTC it will be sometime after that. Tell us about yourself: I am a SAHM to my two girls. My DH has about 40 employees and so he is often busy working and managing different personalities even when he is home. In my free time (HA!) I enjoy trying (and usually failing) at being crafty. Honestly, I’m at the point in my life where I’m thrilled to just get a few minutes to drink a hot cup of coffee while I fold laundry and listen to TV in the background.

What brings you to BOTB? Doing some pre-conception research I happened upon the community and thought it would be a good idea to join
When will you start TTC? We are planning to being TTC in June. We are going away to celebrate our third wedding anniversary (been together 11 years!) and will begin trying then... I've been tracking my cycles on an app and it appears that fate has lined it up nicely.. fingers crossed. I've also purchased the Clearblue OPK that I plan to use the cycle before and cycle of. I've started taking prenatals and my hubby is taking a multivitamin for fertility by the same brand, just figuring that it couldn't hurt. We are working on being more active and eating better.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.) No kids yet, but we have a 10 lb shih tzu mix named Ziggy. I am Certified Financial Planner and hubby works from home in market research. We've delayed having children as I put my career first and obtaining my degree and certification - my husband is super supportive. We love going to the beach, relaxing outside, taking our dog on long walks/hikes, and binge watching shows on occasion lol.

What brings you to BOTB?: we’re both really excited about a new addition to our family, but waiting for the right time. I’m working on my BA and starting a small business, he’s working a job that’s OK but is hoping to do something different and more fulfilling. We both want to have more financial stability before we start trying. In the meanwhile I can hardly contain my excitement about having a tiny human to grow with!
When will you start TTC?: hopefully in a year or so. My IUD is all done October 2020 so maybe then? It really depends on if we’ve reached some of our goals individually and together.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.)
We have two sweet black cats named Yatzee and Yo and lots of plant babies (ferns, palms, orchids, bamboo, lilies). We’re both into sci-fi and role play games. I just joined a D&D campaign he’s been doing for a while and we host Call of Chthulu every other weekend. I’m growing clientele with a life coaching business and going to 200hr training this summer for my yoga teacher certification. He works in sales for mobility tools (wheelchairs, scooters etc). I spend hours solving sudoku puzzles and love math (in school for applied mathematics).
@jackie_dunny I was concerned too when I saw people mentioning starting ttc in the coming months that no one else would be navigating a longer wait with me. Woohoo for early onset baby fever lol

What brings you to BOTB? We have been discussing baby # 2 for some time now. He was ready before me and now I’m here ready to go although I have to admit I’m pretty nervous, partially because of my age.
When will you start TTC? As soon as I ovulate next, end of May.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.) we have a 6 year old son who has been begging us for a sibling for a couple of years now. He’s such an awesome little person and I hate that he is alone, this one is for you buddy! Not totally but he was definitely apart of the decision making process for # 2. We have three older dogs who we love, they might not be so happy about another baby messing with them though lol. I’m a stay at home mom, our son is in kindergarten so life’s is pretty easy for me these days, I’ll have to kiss these easy days goodbye but I’m looking forward to having another wee one to hang out with. I love to read and I’m a sucker for crime tv 🤷🏻♀️
What brings you to BOTB? I’m wanting to have another baby. It isn’t going to happen for quite a long while, but I’d like to start taking with other peeps who are of similar mindset, and possible transfer over to a BMB together.
When will you start TTC? Probably September 2020... It’s so far away though!

I was on the May18 board with @ivyvines6 until I totally crapped out about mid-pregnancy We have two cats that my younger son adores to no end. I work an HR job that I never get to on time, but luckily my mother watches my boys (and my 8 month old nephew, bless her) so when I inevitably need to stay late the boys are in good hands. DH and I like to travel to StL for baseball and watch all kinds of sports in our home town. Good to meet you guys!

I have a 13 year old daughter (yes, I was quite young) and BF has no children. We have a 2 year old Boerboel (South African mastiff) and a very old pretty kitty. I have a deep love for succulents (I have a massive collection) and enjoy getting creative. Mostly wood burning these days when I find the time, but also charcoal, graphite, fine liners, and making my own stencils. Happy to meet you all!
welcome @thesquidsmom! As for approaching the subject, have you asked what's holding him back? If you have (or plan to) try tackling those things and coming up with some sort of plan. A lot of girls I went to school with are already mothers. I want a child to call my own. I used to babysit my neighbors child, and also work for a daycare. When will you start TTC? Probably at the end of this year or, more than likely, sometime in the beginning of next. Pur kitchen flooded a few weeks ago so until the remodel is done and we are settled back in I can't get him to even try talking dates.
Tell us about yourself (kids, pets, job, interests, etc.) I have 2 littles, both boys. They are spicy little meatballs. I am a vet tech currently but am going back to school to be a teacher. I like to keep my life pretty busy (and by busy I mean freaking hectic AF). I have 3 dogs, a lab who is a bit of a douche, a rottweiler who is my pride and joy, and a cane corso who is also a bit of a douche, but I love him. Fun fact, I am a huge dog snob and all of my coworkers hate me for it, but that's ok.
What brings you to BOTB? We had decided that we were done having kids. Then I sold or gave everything away. THEN I totally lost my mind and decided I wanted one more. DH took a little bit now he’s onboard as well.
When will you start TTC? We hope to start May 2020, but that’s only if my DS goes to kindergarten next year. His birthday is just after the cut off but I think he would do well to go early. If not we will start trying 9 months before he starts kindergarten.

What brings you to BOTB? We just got married in October, my husband has twin 13 year old girls that I love to death, and we are so excited to grow our family. We are waiting, however, until we can purchase our first home. We are in that process now, but it seems like it'll be awhile before it happens. I am in school part time (biology major) and work full time. We have way too many animals, 4 dogs and 3 kitties, plus fishys! Being a mom has always been a big thing for me, and I can't wait to have one of my own. I have two beautiful step daughters as well.

When will you start TTC? I'd love to January 2021 but unsure - we're moving out of state that year and I'm anxious about another preterm baby

@flareon333 hi! You’re more than welcome to stay here on this board but are you trying to conceive at the moment or are you planning to in the future? This board is more for people who aren’t trying yet but have plans/hopes to in the future.
I’d recommend the TTGP (trying to get pregnant) board full of wonderful women who are also trying. Just make sure you lurk for a few days as their board is quite active and has a few guidelines to follow to keep the community organized.
If you’re not trying yet but want to/plan to, welcome aboard! Feel free to join our monthly discussions. It’s quite slow here so not much activity but welcome nonetheless!
