What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Nausea still coming and going. Fatigue is back (but this could also be a symptom of toddler bed transition). Overall I'm still feeling pretty good.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Very, very similar to my pregnancy with DS still.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate wishing time away but I really just want to get past this first tri stuff. Being tired all the time is frustrating and I hate not knowing how baby is doing. At least once movement starts I'll have some idea!
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We went to the same high school (in a small town) but he was 2 years ahead of me. We didn't really run in the same circles when he was in high school but I knew who he was and he knew who I was. Right before my senior year we were hanging out with mutual friends and things kind of just progressed from there! We talked all night and I ended up writing my number on his arm because his phone had died.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Mild cramping, other than that feeling pretty good.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I actually feel slightly more energetic this time compared to my 2nd pregnancy. I think I'm just more used to being tired!
Rant/Rave/Questions? Similar rant as you @jessafishy I want to get through my first tri and all the testing.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met on EHarmony!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Dare I say it...I haven't thrown up since Saturday night and my nausea has actually eased up. If I hadn't just had a doctor's appointment yesterday and confirmed that baby is doing just fine, my stress level would be huuuuuuge.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Way, way, way more severe. DD was one puke each morning and golden the rest of the day. I've been exhausted, heartburn, nausea, throwing up, headaches, food aversions, just everythinggggg.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Going to the dentist sure is easy when you're pregnant. They didn't want to do any x-rays because I'm not quite far enough along yet. Clean, polish, and out the door for $0.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? The short story is - we both ran cross country for our college and he was interested in my roommate. He befriended me to get closer to her...and...well...yeah...he realized how awesome I am. Duh.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? so tired and hungry. nausea comes and goes. but pretty mild considering.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? i don't remember being this tired and hungry before. a little more nauseous than previous ones but overall i havent puked much for any of them.
Rant/Rave/Questions? i had a bad experience yesterday with the staff at my OB. they found cysts in the u/s which i guess is nbd. but i didn't really trust the NP to ask about it. so i want to see my OB and talk with her about it.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? at a bar, it was a really special day for him his team he coached had just won the little league championship, the celtics won game 7...i was dragged out by my sister, i was already in a relationship (was planning on dumping him but hadn't got the guts to yet). i went to hit on him and quoted some line from anchorman. i thought i was so funny and he didnt laugh so i was like whelp. i guess he hates me. later that night he asked for my number and the rest is history!

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Nauseous all the time but no puking, exhausted, food aversions.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Pretty much the exact same, I don't remember being this nauseous with my son but I was also crazy busy when I was pregnant with him so maybe I just didn't have time to dwell on it.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant: I haven't been able to eat anything for 3 weeks but still somehow gained like 5 pounds. I am already 15 pounds heavier than when I started my last pregnancy, not excited about that.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We went to different high schools but one of my friends knew him and thought we would like each other so we started texting and then basically never stopped. We started dating when we were 15 and have been together since. He actually switched schools and everything so we could be together more, which totally creeped me out at the time haha.
$0 for a dental visit? Wow. While we take our kids to the dentist and just absorb the cost, DH and I are pretty bad about going for cleanings and check-ups because of cost. We probably need to re-prioritize it is in our budget. But you must have really good dental insurance or something - count yourself as blessed!
@carries2018 As a general rule, I have started refusing to see NPs. I am sure most of them are lovely people, but my visits with NPs have never gone well. I had two separate NPs mess up pap smears by getting unusable samples (one didn't even alert me about it until I came in the next year for my annual appointment). NP at the pediatrician's office, NP at my primary care doctor, and NP at my son's specialist have all screwed up prescriptions. Mistakes happen, but come on ... I hate being that demanding patient, but at this point, I feel that is is in my best interest to demand a doctor. I have a high deductible insurance plan, so for the most part, I am footing the bill and I have noticed that I get charged the same whether it is the NP or the doctor. *end rant* I hope you get real answers from your OB soon.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? nausea STILL comes and goes. Still pretty tired. Waiting for that 2nd trimester energy burst.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? This is so much worse than my pregnancy with DD which was easy breezy. I had zero nausea with my first pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Rant: We're in the process of selling our current house and buying another house. Not being able to finish these long ass days of house hunting with a big glass of wine is torture. I cannot wait to be done with this!! Rave: 12 weeks appointment on Monday! Cannot wait to see how things are going and feel a bit "safer" finishing up this first trimester.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We were friends in college (i knew him through my boyfriend at the time). 4 years after I graduated (and long after breaking up with that BF), he reached out to hang out and grab some drinks. The rest is history!

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Exhaustion, otherwise feeling good
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I had MS with both, but it's different. I would say my symptoms aren't as bad this time/they were all in about a two week time frame compared to spread out. One difference is I did not have cravings or food aversions with my last pregnancy but they are loud and proud this time around.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? I'm actually starting to feel better. Nausea is still around, but it has been more mild since the weekend. Still exhausted, passing out by 8:30 most nights. Also dealing with a pretty bad cold.

GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met during the Fall of our senior year of college. I lived with 3 other girls, and we were just drinking at home on a Friday night. 4 guys (including DH) knocked on our door. They were headed to a party, supposed to be picking up someone else, knocked on the wrong door. They left, but showed back up about an hour later, saying the party they went to was boring and wanting to know if we wanted to hang with them. Being young and stupid, we invited them in and later hit the bars with them. DH and I immediately hit it off and started dating.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Meh, nausea, food aversions and fatigue.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? It's about the same now as it was last time. The last week things calmed down, so before that it was much worse.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Got to see our little one last Friday at my appointment. So one happy mama here. Plus I go back in on the 7th and get to see little one again.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Our best friends are actually married, we met when they had just started dating which was I think 2005. Took us some years to get on the same page but once we were both single at the same time, that helped. Then 5 years ago we got married and the rest is history.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Nausea, exhaustion. I'm waking up a lot and if I don't get enough sleep, the nausea gets wayyyyyy worse.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? My nausea is worse this time but it's probably because I'm not able to rest whenever I want to like last time. This is pretty similar to my first time around, I'm just chasing a kid around too.
Rant/Rave/Questions? How is it fair that we got norovirus while I was in my first trimester!? Our entire house puked for three days, ugh.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? He was my highschool sweetheart. We have been together for 13 years.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Nausea. Exhausted. Aversions. Acne!
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? This time is harder. Probably because I'm chasing around a toddler. Definitely harder to find time to rest. Overall, feels just as awful as my first pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I have been having miserable Sacral iliac joint pain. Like stabbing pains in my lower back/buttock only on 1 side. Hurts when I go from sitting or laying to standing. That keeps my up at night because I can't get comfortable. The pain & exhaustion add to the nausea. Hot mess express over here!
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met at work 9 years ago. He got my phone # from one of my coworkers and he kept calling me until I agreed to go on a date with him. He would come to my unit and bring me coffee and sweet talk me. He was (and still is) very persistent!

How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I don't remember being this nauseous but it was over three years ago so maybe blocked it out this unpleasant feeling.

I invited some of roommates swimming and he showed up. At first I friended him cause I liked his roommate but grew to like him. We will have been married 10 years this year.

The first time we ever met was at a bar; he was actually dating another friend of mine at the time. They broke up shortly after that, and several months later we ran into each other again through mutual friends. This was almost 8 years ago.
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good other than fatigue by the end of the day. Work + toddler + pregnancy will do that to a girl. Nausea was gone and then this week came back for a bit, comes and goes. Gassy!
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? A little more severe with the nausea and food aversions. Week 6-8 were horrible, but feeling pretty good now. First pregnancy was a breeze.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Took my early GD glucose test this morning (1 hr) since i had it last time with DD. So gross! Praying I don't have it again as I don't want to finger prick 4x per day.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met online - Plenty of Fish! He kept emailing but didn't seem like my type and I wasn't really interested. Then he sent me an email that actually caught my attention. Asked me questions like "Who would you want to have lunch with - dead or alive." "What 3 concerts would you want to see, of anyone dead/alive" and I forget the others. But I thought those were cool and different than the normal guy sending emails....

GTKY: How did you meet your SO? I was 14 at a water park. This guy there who was 18 thought we were 16, and asked my friend out. She refused for a while, but eventually gave in and made me tag along since she didn't know him. He also brought his friend. His friend happened to be my husband. The rest is history.

How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? This one is so much worse! I'm not as tired, but my nausea is all day! With DS, I could count on it at 7:30 am on the dot and if I let myself get too hungry. This time I'm in a constant state of "just don't barf in front of the students"
Rant/Rave/Questions? My kid seriously needs to get his sleep back on track! With the time change and vacation, he's a mess! Last night, he woke up at 10 and then again at 2:30 and would go back to sleep until 4! I'm exhausted!
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We worked at the same toy store in university. There was always something between us, but it was never the right time. I ended up meeting someone else, getting married and moving cross country. Fast forward three years and I'm divorced and go back to my hometown for a visit. I decided to take a walk one afternoon and literally ran into him on the street. We had a drink that night and the next and kept in touch after I went home. Six months after that, he moved out to be with me. Nine years later, we're back home, have a house, a 2 year old and a baby on the way!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Heartburn and fatigue are still sticking around.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I had maybe a week or two of morning sickness with DD, and it was very mild. It's been different this time around.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm going to join the rushing the first trimester club! I'm so ready for my 1st trimester screening to see baby again (a week from Monday!), then I'm ready for more energy, but mostly ready to feel that constant movement. It's so reassuring!
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We have known each other since we were in 6th grade lol. We started dating at the beginning of 10th grade, so we have been together going on 13 years and married for 7.
2. Mostly fatigue. Only really quesy if I don't keep snacking, but really nothing to write home about.
3. More quesiness than the first one.
4. Rant: keep chipping into my PTO which I would like to save for maternity leave so I don't have to take as much time without pay, but LO1 keeps getting sick this winter and I can't send him to daycare.
5. We met during a game or beer pong.... or was it flip-up after I came home from a date. He was my roommate's prior roommate. We hit it off and I never went on a second date with that previous guy

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? nausea comes and goes, I'll have a couple of good days followed by a couple of bad; its usually linked to how much sleep I get. exhaustion. food aversions.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? I think this time around is a bit worse.
Rant/Rave/Questions? My 17 mo used to sleep through the night or maybe wake up once, take a small bottle and go back to sleep...lately he's been waking up at least once if not twice and has a really hard time falling back asleep after the second waking...its killing me! We will be working on night weaning this week, but I'm not sure the best plan of action, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, had an appointment with a hematologist this week, I've had a blood disorder for many years and it prevented me from getting an epidural last time around, so I wanted to get a head start on it this time...long story short, it doesn't look good for this time either, so anyone use any pain management strategies during their previous L&D that seemed to work? any suggestions?
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? I studied abroad in Milan, Italy my senior year of college. I met my now husband on the 3rd night there and thought "hmmm??" We kept running into each other since we had a few mutual friends and on campus and he eventually asked me on a date. Needless to say I extended my semester abroad to year abroad and then stayed through the summer. We spent about 9 months long distance until he moved here to the US.
2 and 3. Nausea. Lots of it. Worse than last pregnancy. Still can't choke down any coffee. I miss it. It misses me.
4. Tomorrow is DS birthday! We have a free pass to a local bounce place and Chick-fil-A gift cards, he's gonna love it! And I'm gonna love lunch.
5. We met in high school. Hung in the same group but never dated. Fast forward to college when he realized how cool I was and he couldn't live without me. We've been together for 13 years now!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Nausea is all day long but seems to be getting better day by day. I'm still so exhausted but again each day I find atleast an hour of energy.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? It is different for sure. Both of my girls I threw up constantly in the morning until 7 or 8 weeks. After that I was fine besides being tired. This time I'm constantly nauseous for longer in the day and for more weeks.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I feel you @jessafishy about not wanting to wish time away but getting past first tri. It's such a catch 22.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Inlove all of these stories!! DH and I met through a mutual friend. We went to two different HS's and he took my friend to her senior prom ( he was a junior. They were in the same youth group st church and she had no one to take her. So she asked him to be her date. I was a sophomore so I didn't go to that prom). We formally met at her graduation party the day after their prom. She introduced us. She didn't like him in that way and thought we'd click. We did! I gave him my AIM screen name ( oh aol ) and we talked that night. We had our first date the following Friday. That's saturday we became g/f and b/f. The rest is history. It was summer and we didn't spend a day without each other, or atleast tried not too. He was my saving grace down a very bad road. He literally saved me from myself. The moment I met him I straightened right up! Here we are almost 14 years later and have never broken up once. We'll be married 8 years this June.

What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Generally feeling pretty good right now. My food aversions seem to be diminishing and energy is starting to pick up. It's nice but also anxiety producing.
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? Now that I'm feeling better, this is a lot like my last pregnancy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? We are almost done announcing to family. I'm weird but I can't wait until it's all over. I hate having attention on me so I get very nervous before we tell people the news, even though it's obviously good news.
GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Hahaha...MYSPACE. I used to be embarrassed to admit it but I find it hilarious now. We had a mutual friend, and he found me in her "top 8" friends. He started messaging me one night. Normally I would have ignored some random person talking to me (especially with the pickup line he used) but I had just returned home from the bars so I was a little inebriated. We kept chatting for a few days after that, and then he asked me out for Valentine's day. I said no (a first date on Valentine's seemed a little too much, and I had plans to have a girls night with friends) and he still to this day (over 11 years later) gives me crap for rejecting him lol. He then convinced our mutual friend to invite me over for a small party at her place. Well at this "party", our mutual friend and her BF conveniently left us there alone. We talked for HOURS. It was pretty great. I can be pretty quiet and reserved around new people so I knew he had to be someone special.

2) tired, nausea, food aversions...but feel like it's improving!
3) similar aversions to my first pregnancy, a little more nausea but less actual vomiting than the first two (this is baby #3).
4) I keep googling if this is even possible, but I swear I have felt some butterfly movements (ie baby). It's happened on two occasions when I've been quite still. I know it's so early, but I'm wondering if maybe with this being baby #3 it might be possible. I felt so certain. The location and feeling of it totally reminded me of those early flutters with my first two. Anyone else felt anything yet? Or am I crazy?
5) we met doing the same undergraduate degree. We were both dating other people at the time, but each broke up with those people over the summer after first year. We then started dating at the start of 2nd year...only to have him break up with me after a month. He tells me now that he found me too intense...probably because after he broke up with me I remember crying to a friend that if he's not the one, I'm going to be alone forever. I guess I was just sure was sooner than he was and gave off that vibe a little too strongly haha. Anyhow, we got back together a few months later and have been together since. 11 years (almost 6 married) and counting now
2. Fatigued, throw up every morning, afterward though I'm fine.
3. Similar to first pregnancy but more food aversion and less cravings. I've lost about 10lbs so far though I started about 50lbs overweight this time so I'm not really worried
4. @MrsRuby2012 I've sworn I've felt fluttering already. It's the right place and very faint and only lasts a bit but it makes me happy even if it's just gas or twitches...this will be my last baby so I want to try and cherish all those little feelings
5. We worked at a part time job while he was in college and I was home for summer break. He found me on MySpace and invited me to his 21st bday and of course got really drunk and asked for my number. He was completely hungover for our date the next day but managed to be charming and interesting. We started dating immediately after and been together for almost 11years now.

3. Exactly the same...I went back and read my pregnancy journal and I have the exact symptoms on the same weeks. Only difference is I'm chasing an 18 month old so when I want to barf I can't just go lie down and take a nap
4. We met through mutual friends when he was a senior in high school and I was a freshman in college. He calls me a cougar even though I'm only a few months older. I couldn't stand him at first but he was very persistent and called until I finally decided to talk to him. He actually enlisted in the military the day after we met so the first 5 years of our relationship were long distance and included boot camp and 2 deployments to the middle east. 12 years later still going strong!
What symptoms are you having? How are you feeling? Exhausted. I want to call off from work everyday so I can just sleep!
How does it compare to your previous pregnancy/pregnancies? No nausea this week, so that is already better than my first pregnancy. I'm obviously showing a lot sooner, so plan on telling everyone at work next week after my first appointment.
