I am trying to figure out what to do for DS's birthday next month. I was wanting to go to my parents' house and have IL's come for the day. We would have a decent sized family party and since we live far away from all family, I thought it would be a good way to see them and let them be involved. DH doesn't want to do this. He doesn't want to travel, and he doesn't want to lug DS's gifts back and forth. I see his point I guess.
What is a fun thing we could do here at home? I doubt our family would be able to come, but thet might. A party with half a dozen toddlers and their siblings doesn't sound that fun to me.
Re: Two year old birthday?
I'm having our families here...but your idea sounds like a good one...I think you could have ds open his gifts from you at home in the morning (like Christmas again) and then go to your parents later for the "party"
Good Luck...
and I recommend expartyzone.com for party supplies (we like licensed stuff and they have it CHEAP!)
