Hey. I've been taking crinone 2x a day for almost two weeks. Not much has "leaked out" until yesterday and today. I am 7dp5dt. SO SORRY for TMI, but yesterday it came out when I peed like cottage cheese looking, and it happened again today. Of course I have googled, so I know that can be normal, but it is still kind of alarming since it didn't happen prior to this. I have tried "cleaning myself out" a few times in the shower, but no clumps came out. Do you think it's just over build up? Or is my body not absorbing it? Now I'm going OCD that the transfer didn't work and my body is rejecting it.

Hey girl! I take Crinone 2x daily and thought the same thing. Thick chunky globs kept randomly coming out, even though I thought I had cleaned it out. It is completely normal though. Your body absorbs the suppository within the first 20-40 minutes, so anything left is just the carrier ingredients of the suppository, and not needed. I have to wear a panty liner, otherwise its a nasty mess. I just wanted to share, because I thought the same thing was happening but it is all normal.

I always have a delay in the discharge coming out. It's like it takes a while to get to that thick consistency. I try and get as much of it out as I can every few days (thats what the nurse said to do), but it gets really tender and I get nervous about scraping around up there. Also, It can hide in the crevices of the canal until it builds up enough to come out. It is also normal for it to be different colors, and it changes to pink for some people. I actually had dark gray/black streaks in mine a few weeks ago and had a meltdown thinking something was happening, but it is all normal. They should really give us a heads up about these things!

@ChocolateIsLife -thank you...you eased my worry! I put a call/ voicemail in to the ivf nurses too just in case. I also get nervous scraping around up there too much. In the shower I don't get much out, which is odd. So I think you're right that is was probably hiding in the crevices and finally came out...ew, so gross to think about!! The things we have to do!!

@lovedontcostathing- I had the same experience with crinone too! It also made me crampy and the wetness made me think AF was always coming! Overall I preferred it to PIO, but it still messed with my mind a lot!

@JamieH2000- ugh I've tried all the progesterone methods! I hate the PIO the most...never again. I've been crampy the entire time since transfer, so I can't tell what is caused by what. Although, before transfer I had to take it for a few days, and I don't remember being crampy then.

My nursing team also said that some strange things can occur with the discharge, and most of what you described is normal. They also suggested gently cleaning out daily to avoid any irritation. The progesterone absorbs very quickly, and the rest is just the oily residue left over. I just started Crinone this morning, so it's too early for me to deal with the discharge. I'm glad you all posted about it though so I know what I could expect in the coming weeks.
@katherind -I ended up talking to one of the IVF nurses at my doctors yesterday, and she said that the discharge is normal. I think it must have built up over the past couple of weeks because there was no discharge in the beginning. It's definitely good to be warned! I try cleaning it out, but barely any comes out. Instead, it has been falling out when I pee here and there...ohh well, at least it's in the toilet. So lovely!

I'm not on crinone but I am on a progesterone cream and estrogen cream vaginally. It's constant white chunkiness. Panty liners and baby wipes are your best friend

@lovedontcostathing I'm experiencing the same thing. It's only been a few days, but mine is also coming out the same way. In the shower, I get hardly anything. During the day though, it just sort of comes out on its own. Thank goodness for liners! lol.
