This Friday is bittersweet. I am happpy because who isn't happy on a Friday?!? But I have been on spring break so back to work I go next week - needless to say I am sad this week is over Let the countdown to summer break begin! MIL is in town for the weekend and I have grad school work that I put off all week so that should be fun.  Anyone else have anything fun planned?

Get to meet the Property Brothers tomorrow  and Sunday is my birthday so I'm getting a massage on Monday! Otherwise idk what else we're doing

Also the last day of spring break for me. I'm headed to Orlando Sunday for a conference and am exhausted just thinking about it. 
At lunch today my daughter, out of the blue, said
 "I can teach my baby sister or brother how to play, right Mommy?"
Que heart break and sadness all over again. Feeling all kinds of down this afternoon.

@glitzandglitter - I hope that your grad work doesn't take too long so you can enjoy the last couple of days of your spring break.

@CecilB93 - Happy early birthday!! You'll have to tell us what the Property Brothers are like in person. I used to watch their show all the time before buying our house.

@notthefather - I'm sorry you are having a hard afternoon. Hopefully you'll be able to have some fun at your conference next week.

I don't have any fun plans this weekend. DH caught the flu/man-cold and DD is still having a really hard time sleeping at night. I'm really hoping I can get our backyard prepped for the spring, but I don't see how that can happen now that DH is sick.

I've been looking forward to today all week!  I saw my OB/GYN today and got a referral for a local RE! I've got that appointment in two weeks!  I got some good information from my doc today, and am excited to continue this journey of IUI with my wife!

This weekend we're doing dinner for my MIL's birthday, while hoping there's not too much more snow coming our way.  Is it summer yet?!

@notthefather - I am sorry you are having a hard day - all the creepy internet hugs to you. Have you been to Orlando before?
@chloandcoco - Ugh! Man-colds re the worst! I hope he gets better soon and DD starts sleeping better. We need to do yard work too but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
@lala2moms2be - Yay! So exciting! 2 weeks isn't a long wait at all That is awesome they can see you so quickly. I am so ready for summer too! I am over the cold for sure!

@glitzandglitter: I haven't been in about 10 years. We will only have one afternoon at HP (after a really early morning) but the weather looks perfect. I'm pretty excited about it! The rest of the week will be busy with conference sessions so I doubt we will get out of the conference area too much again. 
Either way, it's another few days away from the office so I'm going to stay positive about it. 

@lala2moms2be: That's fantastic! So glad to hear you got in so quickly. 

@ChloandCoco: Ugh! Kid not sleeping + man cold is the combination from hell. I'd forget landscaping for now and go straight to wine (if that's your thing.) hope things settle down at your house soon!

@notthefather - I'm sorry for the heartbreak.    But at least it's awesome that your LO is excited for a sibling!  I know a couple of people w kids who have not been at ALL.  Hugs regardless!  Hope there's some nice weather in Orlando to cancel out the conference exhaustion.  
@chloandcoco - I feel your pain - DD has a cold and has been waking up in the middle of the night every single night this week, and I'm the only one that can get her back to sleep.  Ugh.  Hope everyone in your house is feeling better soon!
@lala2moms2be - So exciting!!!  ))))  Glad you got good info from your doc and are heading to the RE!  Woo!

@ChloandCoco the Property Brothers were awesome! It was a quick in and out picture with them, but they were super nice and so TALL!!!! I knew they were tall, but it's different seeing them in person!! DH is 5'11" and said it was weird being shorter than people, haha (they're 6'5"!!).

@LeaveMyLoveBetweenTheStars I was so confused when lala2moms2be wouldn't pop up as a tag! Haha. Anyways, so exciting that you'll be seen fairly quick!

Thanks everyone! DH is almost back to normal, but DD is still having a hard time. She's also cutting three teeth so that might be making things a lot worse. 

@notthefather - Normally I would be drinking some Chardonnay right out of the bottle, but I've given up drinking to prepare my body for ttc. 

@CecilB93 - I didn't realize the property brothers were so tall! It's pretty sweet that you got to meet them in person. 

@LeaveMyLoveBetweenTheStars - It's awesome that you get to have your first RE appointment in a couple of weeks! 

@maureenmce - Hopefully you DD will beat this cold quickly and she can get back to sleeping through the night. 

@glitzandglitter - Well I definitely didn't have time for yard work today. Maybe next weekend.

Happy Birthday to me, I got to change a poopy diaper at 7:30am. My son never poops before we get out of bed, and DH and I stayed up late watching tv, so I got to get up and change it since 1. I don't even think DH realized DS had a dirty diaper. And 2. He'd complain if I woke him up just to make him change it (he doesn't do well on little sleep, I can survive though since I'm always staying up late). So now DS and I are laying on the couch while DH sleeps in. *insert eye roll here*

Working tomorrow morning and then hopefully spending the rest of the weekend in bed! I'm still sick and feel horrible. I ended up having two severely infected ears and I'm still waiting for antibiotics and steroids to kick in.

This weekend we are going to a home and garden show, and it would be nice to take dd on a nature walk. And prep the backyard for spring since I wasn't able to do it last weekend.
