Re: Monday Ticker Change (3/13)

  • 1. How many weeks are you? 4!

    2. How are you feeling? Just fine. Aside from being more emotional, I have never gotten super early pregnancy symptoms.

    3. Any appointments this week? I'm guessing that I'll need to go back for follow up bloodwork, but I'm waiting to hear about my hcg and progesterone today.

    4. Rants, raves, questions? Nope!

    5. GTKY: Of the things you are giving up during pregnancy (if any), what will you miss the most? Wine. I absolutely love sitting on my pouch in the summer with a cold glass. I know I can do the same with something non-alcoholic, but it's just not actually the same. I'll have a glass here or there later in pregnancy, but it's going to make jealous when DH drinks like usual. (Not that his usual is a lot, just that I'll be jealous.)

I don't think I'm giving up anything I'll miss. I don't drink or smoke. The only sushi I like is the kind without raw fish. I don't drink coffee or that much soda. I pretty much do everything I did before I was pregnant except scooping the litter box which I definitely don't miss.

  • 1.How many weeks are you?
    5
    2. How are you feeling?
Terrible, but I'm pretty sure it's due to a stomach virus. I felt totally fine before last night. I think the worst is over though.
    3. Any appointments this week?
Friday I have an appointment to establish care with a new OBGYN (we relocated in June) and to confirm pregnancy.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
My husband is always supportive but he really seems to have gotten the hang of it more so this pregnancy. I guess practice makes perfect :)
    5. GTKY: Of the things you are giving up during pregnancy (if any), what will you miss the most?  Oh my gosh- sushi! We just discovered a really great all you can eat sushi place (and I can eat a lot of sushi!). I wish I had gone there one more time before finding out I was pregnant.

I am also really going to miss belly sleeping.

  • 1. How many weeks are you? 6 weeks 1 day
    2. How are you feeling?
Fine for the most part. I am currently dealing with lots of pelvic bone pain. I had this with our first as well I just don't remember it happening this early.

Also, mornings are rough. I'm super hungry but food is gross so I'm doing breakfast smoothies.

    3. Any appointments this week?

    Not yet.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?

I'm eating all the time. My nausea usually lifts around 9am and by 10am I'm ready for lunch and noon a second lunch Haha.

    5. GTKY: Of the things you are giving up during pregnancy (if any), what will you miss the most?

Coffee. I drank it for about two days after finding out I was pregnant and then just decided to stop. Luckily, I have not had any side effects of withdrawal.
