How far along are you? 37 weeks

How big is baby? Romaine Lettuce

Team Blue, Pink, Green? Blue 

Appointments this week? I have an appointment on Thursday. I have appointments weekly from now on.

Symptoms? Everything aches and I feel huge. Part of me know this baby needs to cook longer. The other half is ready for this all to be over!

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We bought everything we need! Clothes, diapers, rock n play, new diaper bag/backpack, etc. 

Rants/Raves/Questions: We are about to close on our condo and now we just got our offer accepted on a house!! We are so excited! There will be so many changes between now and then (moving in May 1st so after baby) but it's going to be awesome!

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? I love that the days seem longer. And my husband can take the girls out in the evenings to ride bikes, play at the playground, etc.

Appointments this week? 36 week appointment tmrw. Cervix check, GBS test, blood work. Also, I have a Brazilian scheduled for Saturday

Symptoms? Contractions at night, back pain, thigh pain, swelling, all he usual crap. 

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We are totally done and ready for our Annie girl to get here. Everything is washed and put away. Now we just need a baby. 

Rants/Raves/Questions: seriously 4-5 more weeks?! 

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? I like that it will be lighter when I go to work in the morning. I love when the days get longer but I'm also glad I have tomorrow off so I can get into the swing of things after losing my precious hour of sleep

Appointments this week? Check-up tomorrow afternoon Edited to add: Nearly forgot we have a sibling class for DD on Wednesday night, followed by the hospital tour, so that should be interesting!

Symptoms? I just cannot sleep. I honestly wake up every 30 minutes because my hips hurt so badly. It's awful. 

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We're getting things together after our move still, so it's kinda slow going, but I have plans to pack my hospital bag, install the infant car seat, and start washing all the itty bitty clothes this week.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Knock on wood, our house is all set to close on Wednesday! We signed and mailed the majority of the paperwork on Friday, and we've appointed a friend POA to sign any final paperwork on the day. So now we just need to get ourselves pre-approved for a mortgage, and we'll be ready to jump should a nice house come on the market! Still kinda shocked by how quickly this all went down, but I'm not complaining.

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? In general I think it's an antiquated practice that we probably don't need anymore.

Symptoms? reflux, banging my feet into furniture because my belly throws me off balance

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Transitioning ds to his big boy bed to free up the crib for the baby

Rants/Raves/Questions: rave: we got a new webcam that streams to our phones which also acts as a baby monitor

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? when you have toddlers daylight savings means nothing but a thrown off routine for several days

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in the initial switch to DST the sun rises later, not earlier (unless you just generally mean the longer days that come in the summer, which would happen with or without DST). It will be lighter when you get home from work, though.

I don't usually do the ticker changes but any conversation about DST fires me up...

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? made padsicles yesterday and brought the car seat up from the basement 

Rants/Raves/Questions: I'm sick of being pregnant and the comments people make about it. But I had a good time at my pregnant lady meet-up yesterday.  

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? I will argue with anyone who suggests we get rid of time changes. If we stayed on DST in December the sun wouldn't rise (in my city) until 8:10 am in the morning. If we stayed on standard time the sun would rise at 4:10 am in June and the sun wouldn't set at 8:30 anymore but instead at 7:30. I suppose it might not be terrible to meet in the middle, but I'd still hate the idea of a 7:40 sunrise. 

I just go to bed earlier so I don't feel like I missed any sleep. It's easy since it's the weekend.

Symptoms? Insomnia, random back pain

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? I enrolled her in daycare and gave them lots of money

Rants/Raves/Questions: I continue to hate GD.  2 days of crappy numbers and now I seem to be back on track again.  I don't get it.

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? I don't mind it.  Ask me next year when I have a baby.  My 4 year old adjusted just fine.

How far along are you? 34 weeks

How big is baby? I've stopped tracking this because all I know is the baby is big and I'm a hunchback with all this weight in the front.

Appointments this week? Tuesday for ultrasound because yay GD.  But it's the first time I've seen my primary doctor since week 20, so I'm happy about that. 

Symptoms? You. Guy. I went on Rx heartburn medication after hemming and hawing for WEEKS because I just felt awful to take it.  Well after throwing up multiple times from the reflux, I finally decided it was time. It has been so nice to eat balance without fear of causing a fire in my esophagus. 

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? We did a ton! My parents took DD for the weekend so we could prep and we had the house deep cleaned, built the new changing table, and organized the nursery.  It looks great!

Symptoms? Nothing new to report.

What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Everyone got the stomach virus in my family, myself included. So, I washed every towel and sheet in our house, and disinfected nearly every surface. Does that count?

Rants/Raves/Questions: The stomach virus about took me out yesterday! Seriously, I don't wish that on anyone. Even worse when your pregnant, and it's hard to tell where the aches/pains are coming from. Today, I am focused on re-hydrating. This is horrific.

GTKY: Are you a fan of Daylight Savings or are you angry you just lost an hour of potential sleep? I love that it is lighter outside later, however now that I have a toddler, I may reverse my opinion.
