How far along are you? 34 weeks

How big is baby? Cantaloupe, butternut squash

Team blue, pink or green? Blue

What have you done this week to prepare for baby? Had my baby shower, pulled out the car seat and stroller, worked on the nursery.

Appointments this week? Off week

Any new symptoms? Occasional ankle swelling, and sometimes my wedding ring gets stuck

Rant/Rave/Questions? 

GTKY: What is a big thing you've crossed off your baby to-do list lately, and/or a big thing you've been putting off? Started packing my hospital bag, started washing everything in the nursery, birthing classes start tomorrow

How far along are you? 36 weeks

How big is baby? 18.6-19" and 5.5-6 lbs I gave up on the fruit comparisons

What have you done this week to prepare for baby? I've taken it pretty easy this week.. I bought a few under crib storage boxes and more towels and washcloths.. that's about it.

Appointments this week? Tuesday bloodwork and hematologist, Thursday Obgyn and Endocrinologist.

Any new symptoms? nothing new just all the pains

Rant/Rave/Questions?  DD is having super separation anxiety and I'm pretty sure it's BC of the baby... I'm sad BC I don't know how to help, going crazy BC she's being super clingy and faking sick to come home from school, and feeling like this is all my fault and I don't know how to find a good balance where I don't enable her or make her feel pushed away.

GTKY: What is a big thing you've crossed off your baby to-do list lately, and/or a big thing you've been putting off? Crossed off: we're pretty set as far as having stuff bought and have crib and dresser together.. Putting off:  calling insurance AGAIN about my breast pump, washing clothes/sheets/blankets etc. and setting up the pack N play

 34 weeks o.O

How big is baby?
Apparently the perfect size, according to the BP ultrasound today! Per baby centre, roughly 4.7 lbs and 18 inches long.

Green

What have you done this week to prepare for baby?

I cleaned out the inside of my car finally. I hate letting it get messy, but I'd been so sick and it was hard to get around to it with the amount of snow we've been experiencing. I went to do a load of baby clothes to sort through from some items passed down to me, but ended up with a day of nausea/puking and SPD, then today's fiasco with an NST, Ultrasound, OBGYN consult, midwife collaboration, etc.

Appointments this week? 
I have a repeat NST tomorrow morning, one on Tuesday, and one next Friday. I had an appointment with my midwives on Monday which went well; no apparent concerns. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on Wednesday to meet the doctor who will be inducing me. 

Any new symptoms?
Severe lower abdominal muscle pain when standing up out of bed. I can take a stride or two then I have to bend over and let the muscles or tendons sort themselves out -_- 

Rant/Rave/Questions? 
Rant for having an induction scheduled, but then having bile acid results return normal and now waiting a month for an appointment with my OBGYNs to see if I'm still being induced or not... And them not returning my phone call. I know they have more patients and various on-call hospital obligations, but damn. This is my body we're talking about and my baby. My life. I should know what's going on and not have to wait an entire month. 

GTKY: What is a big thing you've crossed off your baby to-do list lately, and/or a big thing you've been putting off?
Actually talking with my partner about birth expectations and names. We haven't decided on any potentials yet lol I'm really set on Wesley for a boy, though.

What have you done this week to prepare for baby? Finally started painting the nursery and reorganizing the spare room. 

Appointments this week? This Tuesday with my midwife 

Any new symptoms? Just the usual, fatigue and being uncomfortable. 

Rant/Rave/Questions? Hoping baby girl is more head down than before. I'm definitely less lopsided and slightly more comfortable belly wise. 

GTKY: What is a big thing you've crossed off your baby to-do list lately, and/or a big thing you've been putting off? The nursery, hoping to get the painting finished this weekend and start rearranging furniture. Need to put DS's toddler bed together still too. So much to do...

Any new symptoms? some cramps...everything else is the same as usual

GTKY: What is a big thing you've crossed off your baby to-do list lately, and/or a big thing you've been putting off? haven't really crossed much off (again due to our move shortly after the baby is born). I have been putting off settling on a name.
