TW Not our time

We had our first US Wednesday and baby was measuring 8 weeks at 9 weeks 3 days. No heartbeat. What was supposed to be the best day of my life quickly turned into two of the worst. My journey will be over tomorrow one way or another.
I want you girls to know that I have nothing but joy and well wishes for you and hope your pregnancies are happy and healthy! I am cheering for every one of you.
While I am sad this happened, I'm optimistic about the future. Please, anyone else who is experiencing this, do not feel like you have to suffer alone or be ashamed. Tell someone. Tell everyone you know. More people = more prayers and less stigma attached to this situation for every woman in the future. The odds are pretty rough, and there are so many women who have experienced MCs and are afraid to speak out. Having a tribe has been my sanity and saving grace. Where I cannot be as emotionally supportive to my fiancé as I've wished, they have stepped in. It's ok to mourn. Its ok to feel however way you have to/want to feel.
Again, I'm cheering for everyone here in the future, and if you need me, just tag me. I'm heading to TTC island, which considering this baby was a surprise, I feel really confident it's everything I want now. Best wishes and lots of love!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your words are so true though. Lean on others for support. As horrible as it is to have a MC, there is a community of us who have gone through it and understand your pain! Hugs girl!

So sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing back in 08 and one of my biggest regrets is I didnt talk about it more. To this day I still think about the child i would have had. Prayers to you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Get some rest and maybe take some time away from your ordinary routine to rejuvenate. I tried the "powering through" method after my loss in December, and ended up grieving several weeks later.

@mountainmartha I'm so so sorry for your loss

You have the right idea though about telling people. That's the only thing that helped me get though, was being able to talk to my friends IRL that had been through it. It's such a taboo subject that most people don't realize how common it is. And by talking about it and making it known, we're more able to be there for eachother. Sending lots of prayers your way.

So so sorry. I had a MC in November and you are so right. It was absolutely necessary for me to share my story. We received so much support, meals brought to us, remembrance gifts or just pampering gifts, and heard so many stories like ours. It feels like no one else has gone through it until you realize so many women you love have gone through this same pain. And you don't have to pretend like everything is okay and people are sometimes more respectful when talking about pregnancy in front of you. You are not alone. Praying for healing for your heart and body and mind.
