High Risk Check-In 3/7

As we get further along, many of us will unfortunately get diagnoses that shake us to the core. I'd like to pray for each of you in my daily prayers. If you're not comfortable, just leave it blank. Recently there's been a lot of prayers needed.

How far along are you?

Why are you considered high-risk / getting increased monitoring?

What's the potential impact on you / baby?

Any additional monitoring or testing this week?

Any concerns currently?

Anything I can pray for you specifically about right now?

GTKY: What's your favorite flower/plant? It's spring here and my wisteria and hydrangea are blooming!

@JustBored10  I didn't realize you had it removed it already. Let's let bygones be bygones and trust your dermatologist to have made the best decision :)

@latershrader I tried to grow a few hyacinth once, they were neat! And then like broke right in half. Like a broken celery. I love flowers, but do not have a green thumb.

My wisteria have been planted for 1 year.. but have green sprouts with no flower blooms. Hopefully next hear they'll bloom. But I suck st remembering to fertilize and prune!

    How far along are you?

    11 weeks and 2 days.

Why are you considered high-risk / getting increased monitoring?

    I have Crohn's Disease.

What's the potential impact on you / baby?

I have to have a C-Section because of past Crohn's complications.

Any additional monitoring or testing this week?

Nope, this is a quiet week between my initial OB appointment last week and my NT scan/blood work next week.

    Any concerns currently?

I can't eat any fruits or vegetables beyond a bite or two because of the Crohn's. My doctors have assured me that the baby will pick up the needed nutrients in my prenatal vitamin and through other foods, but I've been craving veggies all week. That's making me paranoid that the baby isn't getting enough of what it needs.

Anything I can pray for you specifically about right now?

This is my second pregnancy (our last ended when the baby stopped growing at around eight weeks in December 2015), so I'll take any prayers offered that things continue on the right path with this LO.

GTKY: What's your favorite flower/plant? It's spring here and my wisteria and hydrangea are blooming!

Any plant that doesn't require me keeping it alive! LOL. It's genetic, my mom couldn't keep flowers or plants alive either.

@amandarene112 Thanks girl. It has to do with a previous brain injury affecting my dad's personality. It's just... scary and heartbreaking to see/hear things, and he's delusional and doesn't believe he acts as bad as he does.. it's just scary. Never thought I'd see my parents separate and take space from each other.
