You could probably just search "October 2017 Moms" on Facebook and find a group.

@jojomax we haven't created one for us yet.  It was discussed early on but I think we agreed to wait a little bit before jumping over to that.  Giving it time for everyone to get their BFPs and weed out some of the crazies.

Someone asked about it but many said they wanted to wait.  I'd be up for joining after my 8 week next week (want to make sure all is good). We started our sept 15 group around 8-10 weeks and it was awesome and we're all still super close. If you keep your Facebook private no one can get your info.  I didn't actually friend anyone until after babes were born.  @jessafishy the moms groups I'm in are secret groups so you can't search them. I'd only join if it's a secret group!

@baker1jm2 is it like fight club? No one is supposed to talk about it yet more people keep joining somehow?

@vvilla3 I'm not sure what you mean? It's a secret group so you have to be added so you don't get randoms and it won't show up in your news feed so no one besides those in the group can see posts or know that your in the group

@baker1jm2 mostly it was a joke. 

But really, as a FTM how am I supposed to find a secret group if you can't search them and they're invite only? I get that secret groups weed out the ones that just post spam and ads but how the heck am I supposed to find a local group if they're all private? I'm running into this problem with cloth diapering - I find a FB group and all they do is talk about how their "secret/private" cloth diapering groups are so much better or have the "real facts" and blah blah blah. I PM them asking "please oh please find me worthy of your secret group" and had them say they weren't adding any new members because it was getting too large!

Mostly it just comes down to me being over the mom wars already.

@vvilla3 if you're looking for cloth information, search fluff love on Facebook. They've got all the info you'll ever need. I can answer any questions you might have, too!

@vvilla3 there's lots of local mom groups that aren't private...at least in my area.  I want to be in a secret October 17 pregnancy group bc I don't plan to announce my pregnancy publicly for awhile and this way it stays a little secret between us mom's until you want it to be public knowledge. Hence why many people look for groups on these boards.  The group I'm in for my daughter is amazing and everyone's super supportive...no mom wars here.  Just hoping to find something as awesome this time around!
