@LilMissCrafty your poor sister! I wpuld habe cried too! You'd never know by looking at that third pic that anything had happened though. I'm glad you were able to salvage it. She's really talented!

erinh2005 - I love penguins! So the shower was penguin themed. It wasn't until I posted the pics that I noticed the topper looked like my avatar. I guess she just knows me.

Got back our maternity pics and DS 1 year pics and HATE them! It's totally my fault for booking the same lady that I wasn't overly pleased with last year but I was late to the game and she, after trying 6 others, could get us in:/ in the photo bundle was also the newborn pics for the girls so I'll stick it out for that and then mooooove on! Ugh!
I know that it would be a pretty uncomfortable conversation but would you be willing to talk to the photographer about it? Maybe count how many are good and how many are ok and use those numbers as points of reference? She might be willing to give you a discount or do an extra session for free, and she will probably be a lot more careful with the newborn session. I had a brother and his family that something like this happened to and they ended up re-doing a session and were much happier about the second session.

AW post ahead! My sister threw a beautiful shower for me today. I'm having a baby boy and we're using hot air balloons and maps in the nursery. It was at a historical inn/tea room. There was also a parade of teenagers in prom outfits outside because it's such a pretty place to take pictures, so that was entertaining. The last picture is me and my best friend (hiding her face for privacy) - she's due 5 weeks after me.

I had a shower thrown by my work friends yesterday and I couldn't believe how much effort they put into it. I felt so loved and am so thankful to have them in my life. Mobile bump won't let me post pics. So you can imagine it. It was fabulous with pink and grey + elephant themeing like my nursery. I will try to post pics again later or maybe I'll break down and bump on a computer.
the photographer just sent me a "sneak peak" of some photos we had taken recently. The tears are streaming down my face at work... my little boy isn't going to be my only baby anymore.. its so bittersweet!

Lol, I have a second little chin (you can see), but profile wise it just doesnt extend much beyond my lips. Used to bug me, but now...what am I going to do? haha
