Re: Newbie Intro Thread - Week of 3/6
I was here back in 2013/early 2014 when my H and I started trying for our 1st. (Different username now... had to set up a new account because the e-mail I used before was no longer active.) This board was a wealth of knowledge that helped us significantly in our TTC journey and I was so appreciative. I've been lurking since we started TFAS and still love this board so much.
-H: 30 (31 in May) Me: 28 (29 in June)
-TTC #2 for 5 months; 4 cycles
-Temping, OPK's, significant cut back on alcohol this cycle (Thank you Lent season!), HIO
-We knew we wanted our son to be at least 2 before we had #2 (turned 2 in September), but then I signed up last Spring for a November marathon and we waited until after that to start actively TTC again. H is a CPA and I work as a Team Leader for a high school program for students at risk of not graduating/dropping out. I love to run (all weather and distances), eat, and consume all the wines. I look forward to joining in on the conversation with you ladies!
Hi everyone! I am not sure if anyone here remembers me but I was on this board just this past December. I was having very irregular cycles and I actually spotted for 5 weeks. I was very frustrated and decided my main focus was to get my cycles back on track. I have since lost 20 lbs and AF came back (with a vengeance) on Feb 6 and I just "confirmed" ovulation with CM and OPKs this weekend. I know that without temping I can't say for sure, but I'm hoping that it was correct and everything is back on track. While I have been lurking a bit still, I am excited to be back here and get to know everyone again and meet all the members who have joined since!
Ages (you and SO): I am 27 and DH is 28
How many months have you been TTC? We have been NTNP with a few months of actual trying mixed in for over a year. While we wanted to really try a few months ago, this is the first month we have gotten the chance. So officially this is our first month, unofficially it's been a little longer journey.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Eating healthier, OPKs, Monitoring CM.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) H and I have been married for over 2 years. We are trying to conceive our first. We currently have a dog and a cat to play mom and dad to in the mean time. My husband is a fireman part time and we both work for Kohl's Corporate full time. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know!

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) We have one daughter who just turned 4 years old and we have a 5 year old Great Dane. I am a SAHM. Our hobbies are sewing, reading, video games, making jewelry, any craft that we can do. We are very active and big into yoga and meditation, I have been doing aerial arts (pole fitness and silks) for almost 4 years, we love anything that keep us active outside when the weather is nice. I am very holistic and granola, a complete hippie in that respect. Our daughter was a beautiful home birth and we plan to have a home birth with baby #2 as well.
im thinking I need to reintroduce - I've participated on a few threads, mainly lurk and love tit a ton but you all are probably ok who is this chick?
Anywho I'm 37, Dh is 37, we have a 3 yr old DS who will be 4 in one week. I was active on TTGP in 2012 and May 2013 bmb (but as you can see my DS came a bit sooner)

Hi!!
Ages (you and SO): 28/33
How many months have you been TTC? We have been NTNP for a month or so, but will actively start trying after my next period.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Last go around I tracked my cycle using OPKs and an app called My Days. We also used Preseed...not my favorite stuff but I didn't want to prolong anything by using regular lube!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My husband and I have been married for 4 years, we have a 2 year old fur baby, and an 8 month old that we can't get enough of. In the past I've taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade but, since the birth of my daughter, I've been enjoying my time at home. I like to hike, bike, play tennis, garden, cook, read... aaaaand I love watching trash TV, the joy I felt seeing that VPR feed was a little embarrassing!
@hoosiermama1 welcome back!
@rebisom I am a hippie in many regards as well, and also very big into yoga
@RVAmom315 glad your BW is all looking good!

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Hubs and I have been married about 8 months. I stopped birth control pills a few weeks ago and we're TTC our first child. DH farms full-time in a family operation. I'm a nurse at a health dept, and look for absolutely any excuse to bake. We've recently gotten into biking and have a spoiled chocolate lab, Max. Glad to find a board of like-minded ladies!
@gameofsucculents I'll see you in the VPR thread on Monday - I'm watching this weeks right now!
thanks for introducing yourselves
Hi ladies! I used to be a regular back in 2011-2012 when I was pregnant with my boys. Had to get a new name because I have no idea what my password/email was. My old bump handles were Jade+1/QTsMummah back then.

Hi everyone! New here!
Ages (you and SO): 28/29
How many months have you been TTC? First month trying (March)
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? BBT, paying attention to my body's ovulation symptoms closely, that's it for now! I've never really used birth control and have been tracking things for years so it felt natural to start with that ordered some OPKs for next cycle just in case.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) no kids, one cat, I'm a teacher and I love to read and run!
