1) how far along are you? 11+6

2) when is your next appointment? No idea yet...had NT scan and bloodwork last Tuesday so now just waiting on results of the latter. If they're awesome...next appt will mostly likely be at 18-20w. If crappy results well then, it'll either be an appt within a week or so for CVS or in a few weeks for an amnio.

3) have you announced yet? No. Was hoping to next weekend but now that I'm stuck in limbo about baby's fate...it would break my heart to announce right now. Going to wait til my tests are clear and THEN I will shout it out!

4) any questions/concerns? No questions...and really no concerns that can be met without getting my tests results. Right now I'm wavering between "all will be fine" and "holy sh+t I could have some impossible decisions to make." Praying with all my might that it's the former...I want to decorate that nursery as planned!

Will know when my blood work comes back this week. I was thinking girl but now my intuition is skewed so I'm not sure. Family thinks it's boy. Needle/ring on a string say girl and it was correct with my DD. I'm honestly cool EITHER way so long as my LO is HEALTHY!

My fingers are crossed for great results. It's terrible that you're stuck in limbo for so long with all that worry.

3) have you announced yet? Not socially yet. Close family and friends know. Hoping to tell our daughter in a week or two and then everyone after that.

Not yet. I can't decide if we want to find out or not. I like the idea of a surprise but I don't know if I can hold out. I'm guessing girl at this point but I think that's because having a boy would open emotional flood gates.

@texafornian I hope you get your test results come back soon and they are good so you can shout the news of your baby. 

1) how far along are you? 10w6. Tomorrow 11 weeks!

2) when is your next appointment? 3/7 last appointment with re and last ultrasound for a long time. I am don't know how I am going to control my anxiety about that something has gone wrong without the ultrasound. We will also do our genetic screen at this appointment. Finger crossed 

3) have you announced yet? Not yet. A few close friends know. Probably next week will announce to our family and my boss. Then in two weeks we will tell my step kids (we get them every other weekend). After that I will do a Facebook announcement. 

4) any questions/concerns? Neverous about the genetic screen and what it might say. I just get nervous with every dr appointment that they will tell me something is wrong.

We don't know the sex yet. Genetic screen will tell us. I have been holding off on the old wives tales. Two of my friends think it is a girl due to the baby's fast heartbeat

@Hopefulmommy1980 my DD was always around 145 and this one has been as high as 183 but seems to have settled around 165. At my 9w ultrasound I mentioned that my DD was lower than this one and the PA said "well maybe then this is a boy!" Lol Point being...I think the high heart rate is also an old wives tale...the ranges on boy and girl overlap.

@texafornian there are so many old wives tales. There are times I think it is boy and other times I think it is a girl.  Who knows.

@Hopefulmommy1980 Wouldn't it be nice if you could actually tell from the heart rate. I've never had an old wives tale be accurate for me but it sure is fun guessing sometimes. Who knows, maybe your friends are right.

Boy or girl as long as they are healthy I am happy.

2) when is your next appointment? 3/30 at almost 18 weeks

3) have you announced yet? We have told close friends and family. We are expecting to get results of Maternit21 test this week or next and are waiting for those results for me to announce at work and then make a broader announcement to other friends, family, Facebook.

4) any questions/concerns? Anxiously awaiting the Maternit21 results. I also found out last week that I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis, so my husband is now doing the blood test to find out if he is a carrier, and so we're anxiously awaiting those results too. Due to his ethnicity (Chinese), it's fairly unlikely he would be a carrier (carrier rate much higher in Caucasian population), but I still need to see the results before I can stop worrying about the possibility.

Waiting for the Maternit21 test to find out the sex. So far have only used the Chinese chart and that said girl. I was feeling like it was a girl for awhile, but recently I've been thinking it could be a boy. I guess we'll know soon enough!

I'm 36, live in south Texas, and this is my first to add to 2 step kids. 

1) how far along are you? 13w3d

2) when is your next appointment? 4/5 for doppler and following appointment is 20 wk scan

3) have you announced yet? We told close family/friends early and I spilled the beans to my boss a couple weeks ago due to the nature of my job (he high fived me).  Got genetic test back and 13 week appt last week so we made phone calls to folks who would be upset hearing on facebook over the weekend.  Telling step-kiddos tonight and will likely facebook post this week.

It's a boy...I really wanted a girl my whole life and this will be my only baby so I was leaning that way even though I knew it was a boy based on nothing but our timing when we conceived (day of ovulation).  All is healthy and I'm working through my terror of being a boy mom!

Not yet.  I'm doing an elective on 3/18 where we'll find out.

@IsItTacoTuesday I just got my Panorama test back and tested positive for Trisomy 21...

1) how far along are you? 10 weeks 5 days

2) when is your next appointment? Thursday (1st with OB) super hoping that she will do a doppler reading and that we can hear our eggos heart beat and likely will be going in to get a Progesterone and Estrogen level blood test at my family practice dr (lab) as well as the Maternity21 (or whatever its called) genetic blood test. Have to get there before 10am though so they can mail out the test to the labs. 

3) have you announced yet? Yep! We announced at 8 weeks (valentines day). Because we did IVF/FET a ton of people knew about us trying to so we were already getting questions and my mom was already telling people so it seemed most fun to announce it on FB ourselves vrs everyone hearing it from my mom instead. It was really nice to feel the support of our community. 

4) any questions/concerns? Almost done weening off of my FET meds (estrogen and progesterone) but nervous about how that is impacting the baby. It has been hard to all of a sudden not have ultrasounds to help provide reassurance.

We are having a girl. The IVF clinic tells you (if you want to know) at your 1st US (week 6) if you did genetic testing.

@Texafornian  sorry to hear about that!  It is most definitely stressful, I'm sure!!  Do you plan to have an amnio or CVS to confirm?  If you need a safe place to vent, PM me anytime.  Sending a hug even though I don't really know you!

Hi ladies

I am 12 weeks and my last appt. was yesterday.  I heard the heartbeat, so there is definitely a little person in there.  I had the panoramic (Progenity) or something like that, so I guess we'll know the sex in a week or so.  I did not have the genetic testing with my 1st 3 pregnancies.  She just kind of talked me into it this time.  I'll be 38 when the baby arrives.  So now I'll just be super nervous all week until I hear how it came out.  I don't know if I'm glad I got it done or not. 

We're kind of just telling people as it comes up in conversation and stuff I guess.  We haven't done a formal announcement of any kind or anything.

We have a work conference next week several states away, so I'm just kind of concerned about the flight and feeling nauseous.

@Texafornian *huge hugs* hoping for good results on your cvs on Thursday. I'm sure this must all be so scary for you.

Chinese chart, baking soda test, ring on a string) I can't find a chinese chart that you can use for twins. Is there one? Haven't done any of the others either. Anatomy scan is scheduled for april 10 and we plan to have the tech write the sexes in an envelope so we can find out together with our kids and close family.
