Anyone still cramping?

I'm 5w5d today, and I'm still cramping a little. It isn't anything severe, just annoying. No blood and my betas are doubling fine...anyone else still crampy?

  • Yerp, at times.

  • @lovehorse77, thanks for responding. Glad I'm not alone!
  • I still cramp occasionally but I've also had lots of spotting so it makes me nervous. Last ultrasound was good and on track next ultrasound is tomorrow so I'm looking for some reassurance! I'm 6+4
  • I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and still cramping. It's mild and certainly manageable. I think cramping is normal throughout the first trimester. Your uterus is growing a lot.
  • I'm 9w6 days and still occasionally cramping. If you look in the symptoms Thread I'm sure lots of others are experiencing it as well :)
  • Yup. 9 weeks and 5 days and still get occasional cramping that's pretty mild. The ones I was experiencing during weeks 4-5 were, at times, worse than my menstrual cramps!

I'm about 6 weeks (haven't been dated yet) but I'm DEFINITELY still cramping. My doctor told me ESP with this being my first it's completely normal.
  • Yes they're pretty mild! I feel them more so when I'm just laying down.. I try to drink more wTer and that seems to settle them!
  • Is anyone else also experiencing vaginal cramps?  I get them once in a while. The pain is mild but also sharp if that makes sense. Each cramp lasts about a second and they come and go. It's just weird.
  • I'm having constant cramps today...called my RE nurse and she reassured me it's normal...but gave me an appt for Friday just to ease my worry. Funny enough, my OB visit is Monday...should I just go on Friday to ease anxiety? What if something is wrong and hubby won't be there? Am I being paranoid???
  • I had quite a bit of cramping when I was like 5 weeks, now I'm about 8 weeks along and don't experience it as much. I asked my doctor and she said everyone is different! If you aren't spotting bright red and aren't having excruciating pain, she pretty much said it's normal. Everyone's bodies are different!

  • @callababy17 you can go if it makes you feel better! I have been to see my doctor because of anxiety. I had an early miscarriage last year and it has made me really paranoid. Are you spotting or just cramping? Is the cramping super painful? If you aren't spotting and are just cramping mildly, chances are you're fine. But go if it eases your mind!

I'm just past 7 weeks and the cramps are killing me. I didn't have this with my first but I'm a bit older now. I've got 2 really great friends who are nurses, one in L&D and the other about to graduate as a Family Nurse practitioner so I think they know what they are talking about. They are my go to for questions so I don't drive my doctor crazy and they both keep telling me I'm fine.

If the doctor appointment will make you feel better go! It doesn't hurt anyone at all to go and be told you are fine.
