Oball Recall

Just saw that oball is recalling their rattles made after January 2016. I think some of you got one in your Amazon welcome box, so check their website.

    I am in serious denial about this.  This is my all time favorite baby toy.

    DS has one of these (it's not the same one that came in my Prime box). I'm just not sure how worthwhile it is to get a refund on a $5 (that's how much I paid at Target) ball.

    Probably not. But if you have one you probably want to throw it away and get a new one when they come back. Dd loved hers, but it's from 2013.

    I think I'll hold onto it but put it away for when they are older. These are still fun past the "put everything in mouth" stage. :smile:
    I'll just make sure to destroy it rather than giving it away someday.

    Good idea. I just don't want anyone choking. That one of my big scary parenting fears. Choking and drowning terrify me.

    The ones recalled were manufactured after Jan 2016. Thank goodness the one I bought for DS in summer 2015 is in the clear!

    Thanks for this thread! I checked, and fortunately the Oball o-copter that came in my Amazon welcome box isn't affected! Whew!

    IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos
    FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17
    FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN
    FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
