1. It's Friday!!!
2. I'm so excited that our group is welcoming babies soon!
3. I got paid yesterday. Once a month paycheck when DH isn't working is ROUGH.
4. We have a really relaxing weekend this weekend. Only thing on the schedule is baseball practices.
5. I can't wait to order all kinds of amazing things off my registry with my completion coupon tmrw!! I got about $250 in cash/gift cards from my baby shower and while I plan on buying a chunk of stuff, I don't think it will add up to the $250. We shall see though. Once I start adding stuff to my cart I might not be able to stop

1. Baby shower this weekend! I have a three hour drive to get to it, but at least the driving weather will be nice enough and DH has promised to stop as much as I need to. Which for him is a sacrifice. Lol. 

2. While I'll be spending Saturday with DH's family for the shower, I get Sunday to see friends who live down there and will get to meet three wonderful ladies for lunch whom I miss dearly. 

3. I'm secretly hoping my SILs are planning to surprise me and be at this shower. I invited them to my virtual shower since they live on either coast, and didn't think they could afford to fly out for anything, and they never RSVPd either way! So instead of feeling hurt, I'm crossing my fingers it's because they'll be there this weekend! 

4. The bassinet arrived this week and I assembled it on Wednesday afternoon. Love seeing where she'll be sleeping! 

5. DH and I are doing much better. We've had some good conversations the last couple of evenings and are feeling a lot more on the same page. I'm hoping some good drive time together will yield more good convos this weekend.

3. Get to see a couple of Dallas Cowboy players at the grand opening of Dick's Sporting Goods tomorrow
4. We're almost done with Jake's room-just need to put up the pictures and spray paint the frames
5. DS is practically potty trained!  He had an accident yesterday (#1), but has pretty much gone the whole week on the potty or in his little man froggy urinal

1. The nursery looks like a nursery finally! DH got the rug cleaned and the crib assembled this week.

2. DH is working on paint the basement trim and laundry room door. He procrastinated on this forever and we can't set up the playroom for the big kids down there until he is done so I am so relieved it's progressing.

3. I am meeting my college roommate for dinner tomorrow night! We are the type of friends that can go years without seeing each other and still pick right back up again. I am excited to catch up!

4. We are taking Dave Ramsey's FPU class and I love it! it feels so good to be in the same page regarding finances after years of bickering about it.

5. DD2 is finally in undies at night officially. We had her in a diaper for months even though she was dry just as a safety net and she is feeling so proud of herself for not needing that any longer.

1. It's Friday! I took a personal day to work on sub plans. Getting a lot done and motivating myself by working for 50 mins and then getting 10 mins of free time aka bump and facebook time

2. DH had a breakfast date this morning. We got an Einsteins Bagels place and it opened this morning!

3. We have a productive weekend scheduled. Errands, baby stuff, house stuff, school stuff. 

4. Only 3 weeks of school left plus a week of spring break. 

5. It is supposed to be almost 60 on Sunday! And over 50 Saturday. So excited!!

@shaunessa Cool! Any idea which Cowboys?

1) I had a prenatal massage yesterday after work (christmas present from SIL and BIL) and y'all. It was lovely.  She did such a good job on my swollen feet and ankles!  Plus she said I'm staying sufficiently hydrated (I guess she can tell cause the massage oil didn't get absorbed) which is good because I always worry I don't drink enough water.

2) I was able to get some clarification on how my insurance covers services provided at the hospital (see WTF wednesday post) and while the coverage isn't quite as good as I thought it was, at least I understand what's going on now and can have some reasonable idea of what kinds of bills will be rolling in.

3) DH is looking for teaching jobs starting next school year and a few good ones have already come up (it's still pretty early for these to get posted for a July/August start date).  He has to update his resume and write a cover letter (somehow he's made it though his adult life without doing one of those) and it's a process because writing is not his strength, but I'm still so encouraged that there are opportunities out there for him already.

4) DH and I are doing to NOLA tomorrow to spend our Christmas fun money at a very fancy Southern restaurant that's been on our bucket list.  I keep looking at the menu and nearly drooling on my desk. It looks truly amazing. (now if I could only have some of the milk punch!)

5) It's Friday! Packing a hospital bag (or at least getting everything together) is on the docket.

1. My dad drove down and brought the bassinet/ crib thing that he made, so now Babe has a place to sleep when it comes home. 

2. Our glider is in and we are going to pick it up tomorrow. 

3. My dad is helping with some of the final painting projects, which is really helpful because DH and I are both really over painting projects. 

4. The baskets that I wanted from PB were magically in stock at my local store, so I didn't have to pay shipping and got them immediately (they are back ordered online). 

5. I got my 8 lb box of dates that I ordered last week! Hopefully I am still excited about these dates this time next week.

1. We placed our amazon completion order 2 days ago, so everything we still need should be here tomorrow! I can't wait to put everything together. I will feel much better once the carseat is installed in particular. 

2. Our childbirth class is this weekend (tonight and tomorrow). I am really excited to take it and feel more prepared for everything and start working on my birth plan. 

3. We are getting our back patio area redone and a cover added (CO sun is brutal) and it is looking amazing. I can't wait to hang out back there this summer.

4. The weather is supposed to be amazing this weekend and next week - high 60's most days, even hitting 70 a couple of days. 

5. Mostly finished packing my hospital bag! Just waiting on a couple things from amazon, then it will be all set to go

Such a good week for me! It has been many, many months since I have been this happy. 

1. We signed the lease on our duplex rental last night. DD got to see what will be our new house. She is so excited to decorate for the new baby and have a "birthday party" for her. She is thrilled to be sharing a room with her too. 

2. I got my official doula certification today. So, I am certified!

3. Friends are coming over for dinner and to hang out tonight. We have been having the same group over every other weekend for a couple of months now and now that I feel happier I am 100% truly excited to see people for the first time in awhile. 

4. We ordered our Amazon completion discount stuff on Monday so for the past couple of days we have been getting baby stuff/postpartum supplies for me in the mail. Nothing really crazy exciting. But, even some new bottles and a bop cover, etc have been so fun to see. 

5. I think at some point this weekend we will go over to the in-law's house to open some baby presents from them. We won't have a shower this time. But MIL, of course, ordered some stuff and she is anxious to give them to us. So, we might do that this weekend, which would be fun. We haven't gotten any presents from anyone for this baby so far.

1. BIL and SIL had their baby this morning, a baby boy! Nephew will be such a great big brother

2. Registered DD for pre-school this morning! Only 6 months to wait now, she's so excited 

3. Today is day 1 of big girl panties
for DD and so far so good!

4. Going to see my cousin's daughter's high school play this evening. She got the lead role as Wednesday Addams in the Addams family so that should be fun!

5. As of tomorrow I have only 4 weeks left of work
