  • I'm tired of thinking of good confessions throughout the week and then never remembering them on Friday

  • @dogperson11 I feel you. I always make a big deal when we don't sleep in the same bed for any stretch of time BC PO one of us is sick, but it's honestly so nice to be alone!

I am struggling BC I am kind of hating being pregnant this time around. I want to feel more joy and excitement, but I am so sick & it just feels so hard. Waah. OK whining over haha. Bring on the more exciting confessions!

  • Home for lunch and I need to pack for our trip and do some dishes... I am considering taking a nap instead.

  • Agree it's slow here. I can't remember if this is how my previous BMB started or if things are just slower now.

  • @mrs_fogue I think it will pick up once people get past the first trimester fog. Later on also means less drive-bys which allows for a better sense of cohesion (it's chaotic right now!) and the time to build a real community. I know I can't spend too much time on here just yet, as it's too hard being pgal to really dive in. It also takes me a little time to get truly comfortable talking to people on the internet, as I'm more careful with my words because I want to make my meaning especially clear with a bunch of new people.

  • My DS's horrible sleep is actually making me a terrible mother. I am so tired. I have a cold, I'm pregnant, and I think I've gotten 7 hours total sleep in the past 3 nights. I love my son so much, but seriously GO TO SLEEP!

I was considering sending him to my parents for a sleepover but I just can't do that to them...
  • mommac2017 what makes me even angrier is that I work for a Canadian company.  The girls that work in our home office get that lovely year off and all they can manage to give us is 6 weeks.  I mean I'm grateful because they aren't required to give us anything paid but I attributed that to my BFing difficulties which lead to my bout with PPA with my first.

  • FFFC: My husband last night kept saying how sick he felt and had a headache and then fell asleep on the couch at 9, while I got our son to bed late because he napped and if he naps it means bedtime if wicked late because he will not go to sleep. My confession I completely ignored my husband and his man sickness because I feel like he is constantly saying that he doesn't feel well, and sometimes I feel like just yelling at him and telling him to grow up that I'm not his mommy. Oh and yesterday I drove almost 3 hours round trip for something that was cancelled, and on the way back I was almost falling asleep so I drove right past my office went home, and clocked out and took a half hour nap, and then went back to work and clocked in. Luckily I work for family, but I didn't tell anyone that I was doing it.
  • @Myelhsa that looks absolutely delicious!

I have one now. My mail carrier showed up over 2 hours earlier than normal and I didn't have all of today's orders done yet. Whatever hasn't been done is being put off until tomorrow. I'm not making a special run to the post office with the kids in the cold to drop off 4 orders in the drop box.
  • FFFC: It's the first Friday of Lent and I already had meat. I'm not off to a good start.
  • @OliveOyl2014 great Scott. SAME. I forgot :'( Catholics gone Rogue!

@mommac2017 Maybe it's time to read DS a nice bedtime story...

  • I'm already a bad mommy. We got a puppy the month before getting our BFP and I totally haven't been giving him the attention he needs. We're still transitioning him from crate training so that's where he is whenever I'm out of the house. But whenever I get home and am supposed to be playing with him, I'm needing a nap at least half of those times. Sucks especially for my SO who ends up getting up an hour earlier than he needs to, just to play around with him and try to tire him back out. I most certainly have not fessed up to him fully that it's totally my fault for not playing with him enough during the day.

  • @mrs_fogue, oh my goodness that would be unbelievably frustrating!!!! Just wait until our leave gets changed to 18 months (if our prime minster holds true to his promises). I just can't believe the USA system is so behind in the times of mat leave!

@bluejeanbabi05, that's exactly the book I was thinking of when I made my post. And I'm there again right now. 2.5 hours of him being awake. I'm exhausted!
