@SpongeWorthy so sorry for this news and hoping with all my heart for normal results on your amnio. Hope your Harry Potter marathon brings you some comfort in this incredibly tough time - if I had a Patronus it'd be a panda and I'd send it straight to you for hugs!
@SpongeWorthy I can't find the exact words to express to you how sorry I am for this news. I'm so sorry for all of it, for the "what-if's" that are constantly in your head. I know this will be all consuming and please know that we are here for anything you need. Anything. I am so sorry for this news. I will be sending all prayers to your family and sweet baby as you wait for news.

I'm so sorry! I already said a prayer for you and your little one and will continue. Hang in there! I hope the results come back soon and get some news that can ease some of your worries. I hate that you have to go through all this worry and sadness.
@SpongeWorthy I'm so sorry about the results you received. I too found out that my LO has a 2 vessel cord at the anatomy scan and I now go for regular U/S monitoring for IUGR. If I may offer some advice... don't google! Statistically speaking, most 2 vessel cord babies go on to be just fine albeit with close monitoring and potentially smaller size at birth. Just keep that in mind as much as possible during this difficult wait. Harry Potter away until the results are in. My FX are crossed so hard for you that there is nothing else going on with your LO. You and baby are in my prayers.
Sending all the creepy Internet hugs as you wait for results.

@SpongeWorthy I’m so sorry your A/S did not go as planned.
You all will be in my thoughts and I hope that the situation will turn out okay
and this will just be a scary memory.
I'm so sorry to hear this scary news, but hopeful that the amnio will show nothing more serious. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers - a HP marathon seems like the perfect thing to take your mind off of reality!
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Just got a call with preliminary amnio results. The results are
negative for Trisomy 18, Trisomy 21, and Down Syndrome. I do have an
elevated alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) level, about 5 times the average.
Typically this is caused by either a spinal or neural tube defect in the
baby or a placental issue. Based on my numbers, they said that the
probability of a spinal or neural tube defect is low. It's leaning more
towards a placental problem. I should have the rest of the amnio
results in about a week. Overall I am definitely taking this as good
news!

So glad to hear that as far as they can tell, there are no chromosomal issues! That's a big relief. Hopefully, the remainder of the results will help pinpoint what is causing an issue and you'll be able to manage whatever it is throughout the pregnancy. Sending many positive thoughts your way.
That definitely gives us some hope! I hope you get more good news
