Sorry If I missed anyone. I was going off of the spreadsheet!
How far along are you? 27 weeks
How big is baby? Fennec fox. Look how cute it is!!
Upcoming appointments this week? Not this week. I have one on Monday and I will also do the glucose test.
Any new symptoms or changes? Just getting bigger and more uncomfortable. I have also been having the oddest cravings like musty rooms, cleaning products, gasoline, chalk, dirt, anything that smells 'bad'. But I can't seem to get enough of those things. I read it's a sign of anemia so I will be asking about that at my appointment.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood? First thing that comes to mind is in first grade my best friend and I were playing in a huge snow pile during recess. We buried our legs up to our hips. The bell rang and we were stuck. We both started crying and no one came to help us. All the other kids were laughing at us and we were so embarrassed.
How big is baby? A cauliflower
Upcoming appointments this week? Nothing for 2 weeks. Then I have my IUGR scan, GD test and prenatal appointment.
Any new symptoms or changes? My belly button hurts, I'm noticing my hands and feet starting to swell and the heartburn is worsening
Rants/Raves/Questions? DS turns 3 this month and I just can't handle how quickly he is growing. My little baby is becoming such a big man.
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood? One of my most enjoyable memories came from a karate tournament I was in. I had a life goal to be Ninja Turtle (what little girl didn't?), so at 7 I enrolled in karate. Not surprisingly, I was one of the only girls. Well in one of our largest, global tournaments, I was (as usual) the only girl. They matched us all up for round 1 of sparring (fighting) and this little shit's father approached his son before the match and loudly "whispered", "Hey... you got the girl in round 1! Easy win buddy". The two high-fived and laughed before the match began. I always noticed boys snickering at me when I showed up, but I had never actually heard them or an adult say anything about me. The snickering always ceased once I competed as I usually won 1st place; particularly in fighting. Well I beat the shit out of this asshat's son. I went on to win 1st place. The father went up to our Grandmaster/founder of the organization who had watched everything go down and asked who the hell I was. The Grandmaster was an amazing guy and always fond of me. I didn't hear what he said, but the father looked pissed. The Grandmaster approached me as I sat on the floor waiting for round 2. He leaned down to me and said "Nice match. I want to see you do that again and teach these boys a thing or two". My instructor (a woman) had been his student for decades so over the years I would visit his studio. He took a special interest in my division and spoke highly of me to his peers. I think he secretly enjoyed watching the shocked looks from sexist sons/fathers when I won 1st. More and more tournaments eventually made girls and women divisions as it became more common for women to compete. Lucky for the boys I guess...
How big is baby? The size of a bowling pin
Upcoming appointments this week? Next appointment is March 17 and I'll be doing the diabetes test, Rhogam shot, consulting the doctor about a possible Vbac and whether or not this is our last. *whew* super busy appointment!
Any new symptoms or changes? TMI but constipation is the worst!!! Ugh!
Rants/Raves/Questions? As always just happy to be another week closer!
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood? This one is probably not the most enjoyable but recently it came to mind and made me smile. When I was in 3rd or 4th grade we had to build something using shapes and three dimensional figures (cylinder, cone etc). I decided on a robot and it became something my mom and I worked on together. My mom quit her job early on to stay home with my brother and I and she always tried to give us 1000%. She was always so involved and loved doing our projects with us. Well, last week my daughter's Pre-K3 teacher sent a letter to build something with recycled materials for an "art display" the kids were going to have. DD and I decided on a robot and it brought back those great memories I had with my mom. We had such a great time doing it, it helped me see how my mom might of felt all those years ago. I hope it's little things like this that stay with DD as she grows up. *cue tears*

How big is baby?
A cantaloupe! Holy crap!
Upcoming appointments this week?
Next week is my monthly appointment.
Any new symptoms or changes?
I think I am experiencing a little carpal tunnel all of the sudden, which is a new one for me. It's not too crazy intense but it's definitely bothersome. I am really hoping that it isn't something that ramps up as my pregnancy progresses...
Rants/Raves/Questions?
We are binge-watching Once Upon a Time (we watch like 3 episodes a night after the kids go to bed and so we have plowed through 4 seasons in less than a month - it's bad) and I just love it. It miiiight have to do with the fact that I am in love with the guy who plays Captain Hook. So my rave is for this show! Which btw, I would have never thought I would like so much in a million years because I was like, "Psssh, fairy tales. Sounds so lame."
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood?
I have answered this on here once before but must have not been the ticker change thread. This is a fun memory for me: my dad took me to Toys 'R Us on a "shopping spree" for one of my birthdays and let me get whatever I want. I think he spent like $500 and I was in birthday heaven! That was NOT normal, just to be clear.

@itsfine I want to be that fox’s friend.
@Elyse1384 My 9 yr old niece is feisty little tornado who prides herself on being better than the boys. She will literally practice running outside bc she wants to beat all the boys on field day. Your story totally reminds me of her and I love it.
@yailani23 that is the sweetest story!
@JaginMI DH and I just annihilated seasons 1-5 of Scandal. It’s almost pathetic how quickly we made it through.
How far along are you? 24 weeks (heeeey v-day, hey!)
How big is baby? Atlantic Puffin!
Upcoming appointments this week? Yes I have a check-up today. I assume that we will be scheduling my GD test which scares me. How am I 24 weeks already?
Any new symptoms or changes? My right nipple is super sensitive for some reason, just the right side. I'm not concerned, just think it's weird.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Not really. I just keep growing. And knowing I'm nowhere near done is more than scary.
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood? I was the youngest and come from a very jokey family so there are a plethora of embarrassing moments to choose from. I believed everything as a kid, super gullible, even now. My mom collected troll dolls when she was younger (like 1960's/1970's troll dolls). For whatever reason she kept them in her sock drawer, she had a handful of them. I was around 4 or 5 when she told me that at night the trolls came alive and would throw parties. I was fascinated. Every morning I would check her dresser and the trolls would be in different drawers than they were the day before. I believed it so hard that I swore to her that I heard them one night. This went on for years. Many more than is socially acceptable to admit. In fact when I was like 25 I woke up to all of the trolls lined up outside my bedroom door. Pretty sure a decent amount of booze was involved in that act. But she still finds it hysterical to this day. As much as I eyerolled about it as a teen and young adult, it's probably my most favorite memory. What makes it better is that my mom was a total hardass. She was strict and occasionally terrifying (especially around report card time). But she loves to fuck with people, especially her kids.
How big is baby? A bunch of Kale or a bowling pin
Upcoming appointments this week? I had my glucose test this morning, blech! I've been battling heartburn all day from that drink
Any new symptoms or changes? I've been getting more and more tired lately
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm just in awe that I'm 26 weeks along but then I'm feeling incredibly large and knowing I'm only going to get bigger scares me
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood? I was 5 when my little sister was born. I couldn't get the fact that my mom was nursing the baby, I would always say she was milking the baby. She got me on camera talking to my aunt about how she couldn't talk because she was "milking the damn baby." To this day, I've never lived it down and my mom asks if I'm going to milk my baby in the future.

How big is baby? The size of a bunch of bananas
Upcoming appointments this week? Yesterday and I set up my glucose test for the 18th
Any new symptoms or changes? A little swelling in my feet
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am really enjoying how active this baby is. I think it knows I have PGAL brain or something and likes giving me peace of mind.
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood?
I have a lot of great memories. One of the more memorable is from Disney. I was probably around 14 and had to get a funnel cake for my family and I walked all the way back from the stand without napkins and my dad asked me to go back to grab some. I was annoyed (typical 14 year old attitude) and told him to ask one of my other 3 sisters to go and stormed off. To this day everytime a family member is at Disney and walks by that stand they send me a picture of it to make fun of me. It is pretty funny now though.

How big is baby?
As big as an Atlantic Puffin (which is awesome)
Upcoming appointments this week?
Normal check-in tomorrow. I suspect they may do the glucose screen but I'm not sure.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Nothing really new. My left-side rib pain after sitting for 10 minutes is growing more and more annoying but I imagine it's just due to baby getting bigger. Feeling kicks daily now is my favorite change.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
We are almost done with selling our house! One more repair hurdle and we should be good to go. Ideally, this will be all wrapped up before April.
GTKY: What is your funniest, most enjoyable or most embarrassing memory from childhood?
A fond memory for me was my 10th birthday. My dad was a skipper growing up and was often gone for long periods of time and missed a lot of holidays, events, etc. My dad's birthday is the day before mine and whenever we could we'd try to celebrate them together. I remember wishing so hard for two things for my birthday: for my dad to be home so we could celebrate together and to finally have a mountain bike. Turns out my dad was able to be ashore for both of our birthdays, which was amazing in itself. THEN my parents surprised me with the best mountain bike a 10-year-old tomboy could ever want. I remember being so stoked and riding that thing around endlessly throughout the day before spending the rest of the night hanging out with my family and eating leftover cake with my dad. It was awesome. Simple, but awesome.
