What was the last movie you went to? What did you think? I was 50 Shades Darker. It was better than the 1st. Ready to see the last one in a couple years!
DH and I 'saw' the Lego Batman movie. I fell asleep within the first 10 to 15 minutes and slept til about the last 5 or 10. So disappointed because it looked like it would be a good movie. DH liked it though. What little I did see, I enjoyed.
The new Star Wars movie, Rogue One. I'm not in to Star Wars whatsoever, I think I've only seen one of the originals. DH and a few of our friends were going, so I decided to tag along. I had no idea what was going on and wasn't allowed to ask any questions, so I ended up getting tipsy (I had 2 or 3 beers, I'm a total light weight). This would have been before I got pregnant, or least before I knew. When I got up to go to the bathroom, I tripped and fell in the aisle. Like, all the way to the floor. No one saw me but my friends said they heard the thud. Luckily, it was an afternoon movie, so the theater was pretty empty.

October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
We went to the movies a few weeks ago for the first time since before DD was born. We watched Hidden Figures and it was great! Oh and the overpriced popcorn wasn't bad either.
Last night I watched Finding Dory since its on Netflix now. It was cute, but I was just expecting it to be better then that.
I have no clue the last movie I saw in the theaters... maybe Box Trolls? We took our nephew and it was very cute. Theater prices in NYC are insane and getting a babysitter just isn't worth it.
Watched Arrival when it came out. It was good but DH fell asleep and then asked what happened. I was very mad. I did not pay $18 for you to take a nap.
I haven't seen a movie in the theaters in years. Last week at home we watched Moonlight and Manchester By the Sea. I was so excited that Moonlight won the Oscar.
Haven't seen a movie at the theater in probably over a year. I hope that changes in a couple weeks and I can convince my hubby to go see Beauty and the Beast!

I see how much my life is ruled by a toddler as I have never heard of any of these. Ask me about the latest Daniel Tiger though!

That's funny, I have a toddler too but I don't watch DT after he goes to bed
I rarely go to the movies bc DH hates them, but my sister and I went to 50 Shades Darker the other night. It wasn't amazing, but I liked it better than the first one. I read the books, so I want to see all three (even though the 3rd book sucked IMO).

This. I don't even know where the movie theater is where I live now! Lol also, I saw a few weeks ago Amazon video put up some newer Daniel tiger episodes and I was way more excited than I should have been. I think the last movie I saw in theaters was the first (new) Star Wars movie. I can't even think of the name lol but it was at least a year ago! I really enjoyed it and DH still gives me crap because I was sure I was going to hate it.
I love action movies so I think the last one I went and saw was the new XXX: Return of Xander Cage. I was alone all weekend so went for a girls day with most of my nieces and then decided might as well continue and took them to the movies as well. I don't get to go to movies that often.
Ooooooof, I have a feeling I'm going to get flamed big time for this BUT the last movie I saw was Star Wars: Rouge One.
I don't like Star Wars, and up until December I had successfully not seen a single one of the movies. My husband DVRd them all and made me watch them in order, like new ones first followed by old ones, Followed by Force Awakens, and then we used our date night to see the new movie (and conceive our Lil Bean!)
My honest thoughts were, why is this movie happening? I felt like it didn't give me any information that I didn't already know. It didn't take any time investing me in the characters, and did a really bad job developing the love story that was going on. Overall, I'm glad it made him happy, but I definitely wasn't thrilled.
Next up though?! BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, AND IT WILL BE MAGICAL!

I would LOVE to go see that in theaters. Maybe I can convince my nieces to have another girl's day and go see it with me.
@s_corrigall that was the toss up but we saw Hidden Figures instead. Now I'm glad we didn't see it. It looked like it had the potential to be terrible even though I love the actors in it. Certainly one my DH would hate.
Well, I somehow missed this on Tuesday. The last we saw in theaters (that wasn't a kids movie lol) was Rogue One and I absolutely loved it. I'm going to be jealous when I can't go watch the next Star Wars in December. We live really far from family and I highly doubt I'll be able to leave a nursing 2 month old with anyone else haha. We saw SING more recently and it was cute too. @Myelhsa I totally read your response after I typed this and will have to agree to disagree , butttt I am SUPER excited for Beauty and the Beast. We are definitely Disney lovers at our house!

We don't get to the movies often. We prefer to wait for Netflix or DVD releases. My girls dance schedule just doesn't allow time.

I want to go see 50 Shades Darker this weekend, and I'm on the B&TB countdown too!!
