Donors

My wife and I are starting TTC this upcoming cycle. We're torn on if we want to use a known donor or anonymous donor. If we use an anonymous donor, we're not super picky in regards to attributes. We've had a couple of our friends offer to be a KD and even a co-worker offer up her husband. 

Thoughts?

My wife and I will be TTC by the end of this year. We have opted for anonymous donor so as to ease the idea that we are the only two parents in our future kids' lives.
For me, personally, it seems the way less complicated route to go.  I know people who are happy with their choice to use AD or KD and wish you luck in trying for your first!

We used AD. Like @lala2moms2be said, it seems easier than thinking the donor might feel like they have some sort of say in our babe's life at some poin

We ended up going with AD through NW Cryobank.  Fingers crossed it works out well!

We are using an AD, we want to be the only parents in the child's life, but there are also pros to using a KD.

We ended up using a KD more because they had the attributes we were looking for than anything else.  I'm cmv- which narrowed my search field by a ton. In order to get the other features we were looking for we made a compromise there.
