Appointments this week? Next week. I'm up to every two weeks.
Symptoms? About the same as a beached whale
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Just had a baby shower yesterday and got a ton of cute baby boy clothes! He might actually have something to wear when we bring him home!
Rants/Raves/Questions: It's been an exhausting week being sick, pregnant, and trying to find a house for our family. But so happy to have a fun weekend with family!
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? I think 28 was my favorite year so far. I felt like an adult and yet still "20's." And I constantly forget that I'm not 28 anymore!
Appointments this week? No, one next week, but I'll be on weekly appointments after that
Symptoms? General late pregnancy crap. The sore/painful joints when sleeping are the worst, though. I can't sleep for shit these days.
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Now that we're finally up in Maine, I've been able to do a bit more. Ordered a small dresser to use as a changing table, stocking up on postpartum needs, buying the odd bit of clothing here and there.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Our first week in Maine has been so busy. I'm freaking exhausted. Bonus rave, though, our house in Georgia will be on the market tomorrow or Tuesday! I can't wait until it's sold and we know what sort of money we will get from it to put towards a new down payment.
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? Hmmm, 26 or 27, probably. Grownup but not too grownup!
Appointments this week? routine check on Thursday and a chiropractor appointment on Saturday
Symptoms? the baby hasn't dropped yet and is hanging underneath my ribs.. big ouch!
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? ordered girl scouts cookies stash, reading up on birth affirmations to help me with my goal of a med-free birth this time around.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I love coming home outfits but the practical side won out and LO is mostly getting his older brother's hand me downs.
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? i miss the ages 23-28 since I was working an awesome job and enjoyed the freedom in doing whatever and traveling, but I like 30 since I feel so much more confident and secure in my self, and love the family life more than my 20s.
How big is baby? Big Definitely head down and head-butting my bladder
Team Blue, Pink, Green? Pink!! Having last minute panics about the name which DH (who is actually really cool with placating my neuroses with names) is not having any more of.
Appointments this week? No!! A brief reprieve from my weekly appointments lately.
Symptoms? PREGNANCY BRAIN. I came to TB to ask a specific question, I forgot in two seconds. My heartburn is uncontrollable - no amount of Zantac will fix it.
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? One step forward, two back. Used our completion discount on some items from Amazon only to have them have been open or not what we wanted and had to send back. The good news is that we HAVE an infant carseat, just not the one I want. We are waiting for Amazon to resend the car seat and stroller system. She has clothes, diapers and a place to sleep though, so I'm not terribly stressed.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Not Bump related, but annoyed by RSVP etiquette. DD's birthday party is very soon and I most people have not RSVPed one way or the other. I think most will come, but I really want to order the cake and supplies but I need a more accurate headcount.
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? My 30s! I don't know an exact year, but I like the stability and confidence that comes with this decade.
Appointments this week? regular OB tomorrow at 9 and a prenatal massage on Wednesday (thank the lord for this)
Symptoms? cankles, swollen feet, back pain, I can't breathe, I'm freaking exhausted. Basically....I'm at the point (yes I know I have a long way to go still) where I just want to be done.
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? well, we cleaned out some areas and threw a bunch of crap away or took it down to the mission. I am definitely in nesting mode and I want to clean everything.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Cankles and swollen feet are a bitch. How will I continue to walk for 6 weeks?
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? mmmm, Idk this one is hard. I'm only 26 now so maybe I would pick this age because it's been better than the previous ones but who knows what the future will bring.
Symptoms? fatigue back aches plus I put away the sour cream in the microwave today lol
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? bought some nursing tanks and bras
Rants/Raves/Questions: I wish i was sleeping better!
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why 29 or 30 - not too old but old enough to be somewhat wise and not as poor. I am definitely more confident in my 30s than I was in my 20s
How big is baby? Asparagus... this makes no sense.
Team Blue, Pink, Green? Green
Appointments this week? none
Symptoms? All of them. Nesting and pregnancy brain are in full force, and not a good combo.
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? Cleaning out more kitchen cabinets, closets, etc. The decision has been made that I will not return to work after this baby. I am so scared, and so excited! Now I am working up the nerve to tell work this week. I want to make sure I have plenty of time to clean up my lose ends, and finish projects, as well as create a manual for my position, and start recruiting for it.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Team green is fun, but it makes shopping for clothes hard! If it's a boy, we still have all of DS's clothes, but he was born in 100+ degree weather, so we still need cooler weather sleepers, etc. I'm thinking about just going on a baby shopping spree, getting both boy and girl clothes for NB and 0-3, and keep the tags on so I can take back whatever we don't need. Also, the end of April is difficult in the mid-west for cloithes. It could be 75 and sunny, or 40 and rainy for weeks.
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? I want my 22 year old body and energy, my 27 year old mindset, and my 30 year old money, confidence, and wisdom. I will be 32 on Friday, so maybe it will be my best year yet!

How big is baby? 6lbs, so idk anymore from the app--I'd have to look at like week 37 to guess!
Team Blue, Pink, Green? Blue
Appointments this week? next week, then I go weekly until 4/4 which is when we decide on the date of the c section
Symptoms? Pregnancy brain SO BAD (commented on the wrong date haha). Acid reflux, painful to walk/move, contractions.
What have you done to prepare for baby this week? going to Ikea on Sunday to get a dresser for us, new baby will get our old one. Also going to my mom's sometime soon to wash all of LO's clothes and things. We live in an apt and have to pay to use the machines, so I usually save stuff like this or bedding for my mom's house haha. Plus the washer/dryer at our apt complex sucks.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Wearing my support belt for my first full day of work so we'll see how that goes. Definitely makes going to the bathroom a little longer process.
GTKY: If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why? I think 28?
