Re: Healthy Habits Check-In (2/26)

  • I'm committed to eating more fruits and veggies, increase my fiber, and drink more water.

Im waiting to resume my fitness routine until we hear positive news at our first u/s tomorrow. I've been too nervous to run or lift until we know everything is ok.

Last week i just just focused on the eating well part! More tea, less coffee.

I LOVE reaggeaton lol partaay so I listen to a lot of dance music when I run. It motivates me.

If all goes well tomorrow, I will start to introduce light weights and jog/walks into my weekly routine.

My usual routine also includes chasing after a 22m old boy

  • 1) What are your healthy eating plans? I need to incorporate more veggies into my diet.

    2) What are your fitness goals? I need to get back on track this week, I have been slacking lately

    3) How did you do with your goals last week? I did horrible last week, I only exercised 2 tomes last week. I have been so lazy

    4) GTKY: What's on your workout playlist? Different kinds of upbeat music. I'll listen to anything that you can dance to
  • 1) More veggies, fewer carbs. Normally we eat vegetarian but I want to make some healthy fish and chicken meals this week.

    2) Run 4x including an 11 mile run tomorrow

    3) Met my workout goals. Decent on food.

    4) Current highlights include Girl Talk and Robyn.

  • Thanks for starting this @riverraine, my MS is strong today and it was the last thing on my mind.

    1) What are your healthy eating plans? I'm trying to just not eat out as much. I can't cook (the smell kills my stomach), so I need to work on making lighter/simpler meals and not just eating out.

    2) What are your fitness goals? I want to focus on my steps this week. I was easily getting 10,000 per day in the summer. I'm definitely closer to 5000 now. So I'm aiming for 7500 and working my way up.

    3) How did you do with your goals last week? I purposely parked far from work so I could have a nice walk in. I'll do the same this week. But it's going to be much colder which sucks.

    4) GTKY: What's on your workout playlist? I do a lot of online workout videos so I don't even have a workout playlist anymore lol
  • 1) What are your healthy eating plans?
Avoid Easter candy...meals have been good, packing my lunch and planning dinners. But GS cookies and Cadbury mini eggs got me bad last week!

    2) What are your fitness goals?
Lift and HIIT training 4-5 days, maybe run once

    3) How did you do with your goals last week?
Great! I work out in the morning which helps because exhaustion hits me at the end of the day.

    4) GTKY: What's on your workout playlist?
i don't use one to work out but if I did it would have lots of hip hop

  • 1) What are your healthy eating plans? TBD.... I meal prepped this week (crockpot chicken breast, brown rice, and broccoli) but now the idea of eating it makes me queasy. We'll see.

    2) What are your fitness goals? Work out 4x this week.

    3) How did you do with your goals last week? Not great. I did 30 mins on the treadmill yesterday but that was it really. :/

    4) GTKY: What's on your workout playlist? I love the "Rap Strength Training Radio" channel on Pandora. Lots of Lil' Wayne and Eminem.
  • 1.  My husband and I ate pretty darn healthy already anyways so I'm really not changing much. I have cut out coffee though.
    2. I walk over an hour every day with my dog and my one year-old so I am keeping that up throughout this pregnancy and I typically do core strengthening and light weights at home three times a week so I plan on continuing with that as long as I have the energy.
    3. Did pretty good last week although I missed one work out. Exhaustion is starting to set in though so we will see how I do over the next few weeks
