So my snowflaking days are over. I am getting hit with waves of mild nausea and I threw up last night. @blewybaby Don't stress! This was me. I am starting to get symptoms now in my 6th week and with my first I barely had anything except for tiredness around 8 weeks.
@blewybaby same here! I'm 5w5d and have had basically no symptoms yet! (Strong sense of smell but that's literally it.) I thought for sure nausea would have started this week and now I'm feeling paranoid that maybe I'm not really pregnant!? I'm sure it's just my anxiety. I'm thinking I'm just a nervous FTM. How far along are you?
@blewybaby I am 5w5d and am not really having any symptoms. My boobs are a bit sore and I am tired--but that is it so far! I am told to enjoy it....but I am with you...freaks me out!!
Wow - so glad to know I'm not alone in this! I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday and for the last week I feel like I've gradually been getting a new symptom each day. First I was nauseous, then emotional, and now I'm also exhausted and "my girls" are super tender. I feel totally gassy and slightly crampy sometimes... bloated too.
@blewybaby don't freak out! My main symptoms are mildly sore breasts (that comes and goes) and exhaustion. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow....saw a strong heartbeat at 7+2. About 2 weeks ago I had a few days of very mild nausea that came and went but I honestly don't have half the symptoms many people are experiencing now. We may just be lucky to never really get sick...some women don't. But some women get sick way later so let's try to enjoy these days while we're still feeling pretty good!

I think I'm going to bed at 8:00 and I took a long nap today (DD has a cold, so she took a very rare nap with me). I'm always tired, but today I'm extra extra tired. I feel like I got hit by a truck. I have literally done basically nothing today. I have hypothyroidism, so I'm genuinely thinking they need to up the dose of my meds. Just them being too low can cause fatigue, so I'm thinking it's a combination of my thyroid and this baby is causing SUPER fatigue. They did labs Friday and I have my next appointment/first ultrasound on Thursday, so I guess they will let me know then unless they call before.
Thank you ladies! I am 7 weeks today. I have been pretty paranoid since day 1. I MC in November and my symptoms seemed to have disappeared these last few days. I am hoping they begin to resurface soon. I have my 8 week ultrasound next Monday. Praying to hear a healthy heartbeat (or see).
@blewybaby I'm 5 weeks+5 with minimal symptoms and they come and go. With my first a lot of stuff didn't start until later...or maybe you'll be lucky and skip a lot of it!!
I have been feeling really thirsty like constantly and it's really frustrating because when I go to drink water I think it tastes gross, I do have some weird taste in my mouth and it JUST started in the past few days. Tomorrow will be 7 weeks for me. So far I am always tired, and have terrible morning sickness and not just in the morning, like on and off all day and food aversions yet still will be hungry. I also feel super bloated and self conscious about my figure as it is changing slowly with all the bloating and weekly weight gain. Lately I just don't feel so hot. And I can't wait t be able to tell family and friends that I'm pregnant but that won't be for a few more weeks. So until then I have to keep making up excuses for my weird moods and symptoms which also really sucks! Okay, rant over (:
@Rich_Est2016 I have been having the same problem with drinking water! I usually drink a ton of water, but for the past week or so it tastes so gross to me. I've found it to be much better if the water is super cold.

@Rich_Est2016 I am addicted to La Croix ! It's more flavorful than other brands. I love the La Croix Curate best but it's pricey. Targets brand is amazing though.
Anyone getting migraines? Im not one to just call a bad headache a migrane either. Had it from 4:30pm-2:30am still feel weird today amd like it could start again any minute. Trying to stay fed and hydrated, but not helping. I have no MS, but these headaches are just as bad.
I wish I could quit my job and just sleep all the time. I seriously cannot use my brain and I'm not getting anything done at work. I feel so foggy and headache-y and constantly queasy. I ate bacon this morning and now I want to throw up and/or die. Grateful for the symptoms but my God this is the worst.
@rawr1131 oh my gosh, you are too funny! I may just have to start doing that to my poor SO
@beezeemarie@Rich_Est2016 This might sound silly, but I started drinking everything through a straw and it's so much easier to stomach now. I barely could drink water or anything but I added a lid and a straw and it has been a life saver.
Nausea & sore boobs seem to have taken a break for a couple of days. Now I'm just starving every hour and a half or so. Also still have some light cramping. 8weeks+3 today.
I'm just super uncomfortable today. I feel like my lower half is stretching out, it's not really cramping I just have a pull going on in my lower abdomen, I'm assuming it's my uterus coming above my pelvis at this point. I've gotten waves of nausea the last 2 days, but nothing major and I'm starving all the time. I get a more accurate measurement tomorrow but right now according to LMP I am 8 weeks today.
@migdala I can't deal with work either. I've just been hiding in my office, playing on my phone, looking at maternity clothes online, etc., avoiding my long list of to-dos. I am so tired and feel like crap, I have zero motivation to be productive.

I am so nauceous I feel like I may die. On 4 diclegis pills a day. Nausea started week 6 and I am on week 9. Last pregnancy the nauseap stayed until week 13.... I have survived 3 hellish weeks but I don't know how I am going to make it another 4-5 weeks like this...
Heartburn, heartburn, and more heartburn. I was nauseous a few times and threw my sea bands on and it kept me from throwing up, but that's been coming and going. I keep them in my pocket constantly now in case I start feeling sick again. Also the burping, I don't remember having this so early with my first but I can't stop burping. Bloating has been coming off and on, but still able to wear my regular clothes, including my stretchy jeans that are comfortable. A few days I thought I was going to fall asleep at my desk too. I try to give up caffeine completely when I'm pregnant, and the last 2 days I just had to have at least a cup of tea because I was not going to make it through the day without having anything. Other than that I feel surprisingly "normal" knock on wood.
My cheek is DOMINATED by a resident pimple who apparently controls my whole face now. Also have acne in weird places--ankles, back of neck, elbows
I cry EVERY five seconds. At everything. It's awful.
But it I guess I have to be grateful bc despite having a history of digestive difficulties and 2 surgeries on my intestines, I've had no nausea whatsoever!
@blewybaby how far along are you? I didn't start having any physical symptoms til about 7 or 8 weeks. Every day in the shower I was glaring at my breasts willing them to grow! Now at 9 weeks symptoms are kicking in and I hate myself for not appreciating what I had lol
Last night, I cried watching a youtube video about a dog... but in it's defense, the poor pup passed away. Apparently, I've already gained about 15-20lbs. My doc has me under a watchful eye now. I should be avoiding carbs now.. very fun... because everything I have is essentially a carb. I blame this on the fact that I have no morning sickness at all, making it easy to keep everything down.
I've been getting occasional cramps that make me pretty uncomfortable, but otherwise, it's all good!
@nlpurdum your pimple comment made me laugh! I've got weird acne spots too.. particularly the sides of my neck.

Me too! Focusing at work is impossible (which is what I should be doing right now). I find I keep having to read the same lines two or three times to understand them and everything is so slow-going. I just want to crash on the couch as soon as I get home from work every day.
Insane MS, I can't eat anything. My house smells like sweaty socks, but apparently no one else can smell it, haha. Feel like my emotions are out of control. Started crying while talking to a parent today (I'm a teacher) even though it wasn't a sad situation. Then the salt taste made me gag, so I had to excuse myself to throw up. Came back to the meeting and had mascara running down my face. Teacher of the year here!
The ms has completely kicked in for me! I spent most of the day Sunday on the couch, even passed up a target trip! I have started really craving things, then when I am about to eat it, I fell so nauseous and can't enjoy it. Started having crazy vivid dreams that leave me awake around 2am and not able to go back to sleep, which makes for very long days. This is all new to me, with my first baby I had such an easy pregnancy with no symptoms at all. Comforting to hear a lot of us are in the same boat!
@kpinto your teacher story made me laugh I feel your pain hon! I am crying at everything lately as well and sometimes it's so hard to hold back. Hang in there, you are so not alone!
Also I updated yesterday that I had really bad nausea and just wanted to add that I also get very hot and very dehydrated EVERY time I go to sleep and wake up in the morning. It's the worst feeling to wake up feeling like death. I appreciate the tips however about making drinking water easier (: I shall try the straw trick.
Not sure if pregnancy related or possible undercooked doughnuts related but last night I had a few (OK a dozen) mini doughnuts. I didn't feel great the rest of the evening then just before bed I vomited. Then this morning (tmi coming) diarrhea! 3 times in an hour and a half. Which is weird since I've been constipated for the past few days. Then nausea and vomiting again. Called a nurse and she said as long as there is no blood or the symptoms don't get worse to just drive plenty of fluids I should be fine but to follow up with my doc in the next 2-3 days.
I am not a snacker by nature and I know I need to be eating more. I felt sooooo sick yesterday morning because I didn't eat anything after breakfast.

I've had intense nausea for the last week but this morning I was due for my B12 shot (I'm MTHFR and B12 deficient so DH gives me methylcobalamin shots every other week). My nausea is SO reduced after the shot. I'm still drinking ginger ale and food still sounds terrible but I'm not sitting here wondering if today's the day I actually puke. I've heard of the B6/Unisom thing but Unisom gives me headaches the next day so I haven't been doing that. I didn't know B12 could affect MS but I feel so much better and after googling a little bit it looks like there have been studies showing B12 helps.
I know I need to eat, but food just doesn't sound good or taste good at all. I'm repulsed by meat especially. Last night I walked into my DH and FIL shoving their faces with manwiches and I nearly puked all over them.. I don't remember it being this rough with DS.
