Mine is a manager for a large retailer.  With our first he was working 2 hours away, I'm so relieved to have him home this pregnancy.  Fingers crossed it stays that way for a little while.

My husband is a software engineer and manages a group of twelve other software engineers.

My SO is training to be a police officer and works part time doing construction- he's wanting to go back to school to become an Architect and being an officer was going to help pay for it. But with a little one on the way he's second guessing the police work. These next few months will be full of changes for both of us I guess.

H is an athletic director at a local high school. 

@jessafishy What does your H coach? Mine currently is coaching track but his passion is football.

H is military. We are just living the dream over here.

@laeberge3 He is assistant football (works with the linemen) and assistant track (works with shot and discus throwers). He likely will move up to head track in the next few years.

At his previous school he coached girls softball, asst. boys basketball and asst. track so taking basketball out of the mix was such a relief.

@jessafishy My H would love to be back coaching football; he coached linebackers at his last school.  They still allow him to assist, but he only does game days (of course, I'm fine with that, ha!).  I hear you on how much time basketball takes up.  H has to be at all home basketball games for grades 6-12, boys and girls.  I basically never see him between November-February.

My husband is a retired marine and owns a graphic design firm with me. He's the lead designer, and he is so talented. I can't wait to see what designs, posters, monogram etc. he will come up with for our baby's nursery. ❤️

crazypuglady  I think this is totally cool!  If I had it all to do over again, I really wanted to be a meteorologist.  The only reason I didn't was because I had to go out of state for school.  If I were at all daring, I would totally be a storm chaser.  I lived through an EF4 tornado when I was 9 so it's engrained in me.

@mrs_fogue- Haha.. he did a little storm chasing in college... at least as much as upstate NY would allow lol (don't think they see too many tornados up there) Nowadays he really enjoys videoing lightning from the safety of our home. Work is mostly providing forecasts and operations support for the military base he works for. Not the most glamorous job.. but he likes it.

ETA- I am deathly afraid of tornados.. and probably would have died of fright had one hit my home.

My DH is a real estate investor ... though he also works 6 hours/week in advertising technology and makes the same yearly salary at that as I do as an attorney with a 2000 hour/year billable requirement.  I'm endlessly jealous.
