Re: TTGP Grads Week of 2/20/17
Daughter: 1 yr old
TTC 2.0: Planning to actively try in May/June
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 6/6
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU? OPK and charting cycle
How was your timing? -4, -3, -2, -1, 0 (we went for overkill this time around!)
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? tired, sore back, low appetite, heightened sense of smell
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I had my son wear a shirt that said big brother and hand the BFP to my husband when he got home from work!
Anything else to add? I am honestly still in shock. TTCAL has been really hard on me emotionally and mentally. I am still very nervous that this one won't stick like last time. I am hopeful that once I get past the 6 weeks mark I will believe it. I am just a ball of nerves right now. I know I haven't been a huge contributor, definitely a lurker, but thank you ladies for your honesty and openness. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!
However, I feel the need to say that for you to post in this grad thread when you have literally posted three times, ever, on TTGP is incredibly inconsiderate and unkind. You literally posted an intro, one daily post, and then this grad post. This is like a dagger in the heart for some of us, including me. I hope you will be a little more sensitive moving forward.
TTC since August 2018
Anyone up for starting a new grad thread so if a regular gets their BFP it will be all positives and celebration?

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 21 months
What did your chart look like? Wasn't charting this month as we were preparing for IVF (wish now I had anyway, so that I had my chart)!
What were you doing TGKU? We were about to start IVF! But I was taking vitamin D3 supplements for the last couple of months because mine were low.
How was your timing? Approximately EOD
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? Nothing that I didn't chalk up to PMS symptoms.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? This whole thing was VERY unexpected! I've never seen those two lines before! Been happy crying off and on all day.
Last night I took a pregnancy test. Stress causes my period to be late and we joke taking a pregnancy test makes it start. I wanted to get the IVF show on the road (was waiting for it to start so I could start BCP)! I was in the shower (didn't even bother looking at the test) and my DH saw the two lines. I thought he was joking and even told him he was a jerk to joke about such a sensitive topic. When I saw he was right, I proceeded to POAS four more times and again twice this morning. We called my RE this morning and they had me come in super early for blood work, called this afternoon saying we were pregnant (checking my levels again on Monday).
Anything else to add? I was almost exclusively in the IF/testing check in board, as I went through the fertility testing, the diagnosis of tubal scarring (my RE said we had little chance of conceiving on our own), and prepping for IVF. This whole thing is just a complete shock, as I was totally in the zone ready for IVF. I am so thankful to all the people who supported me on here (fears about the fertility tests, advice, encouragement in the tough weeks, and helping me feel hopeful about IVF). I do not know what I would have done without all of you! This doesn't even feel real yet! I don't think I can leave you all yet, so will continue to lurk and root for you all (especially all my fellow IF people)!

CD/DPO of first BFP? Wondfo at CD28/12dpo, beta done this morning at 13dpo
(If you are wondering, "Was adirat crazy enough to dig her 11dpo BFN out of the trash and look at it?" the answer is yes. It had an evap line.)
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 9 months, 10 cycles
What did your chart look like? It's funny -- I've had beautiful triphasic charts before and wasn't pregnant. This one looks ugly in comparison!
What were you doing TGKU? CM, OPKs, temping. PNVs, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, zinc, green tea. Avoiding soy. Egg quality lifestyle changes. Plus dancing to penis time of course! In all seriousness, though, this was our IF testing cycle, and I had an HSG this cycle that I can't help but wonder about now. Did I get some of that HSG BFP magic?
How was your timing? EOD incl. -1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? None. I don't feel it at all. I started spotting on 8dpo, like I always do, and figured I was out. A few times this week, I've had cramps that seemed like the start of my usual AF cramps, but then they would go away. You can see above that my chart has been nothing to write home about. But at 12dpo, my temp went up instead of down. 12dpo means AF is 2 days late given my luteal phase defect so I tested and there it was!
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Oh gosh I told him immediately. 6 AM, in bed. He looked at the line (unlike me he isn't frequently scrutinizing Wondfos, but he saw it) and we hugged and I cried. He is already calling it "the little poppy seed."
Anything else to add? Look -- we aren't out of the woods yet. I waited to post publicly until I saw my RE this morning because as much as I am thrilled, I am also terrified. I'm still spotting (I have a history of low progesterone). We won't know until 12 weeks if the baby inherited my bad x chromosome. But today I am pregnant. I am going to keep focusing on that. It's what I learned from you.
Everyone says it, but I have to thank you ladies here for the wonderful community you've created. This has been my port in the storm for months now, and I am immeasurably grateful to you. I consider you true friends. I hope you'll ALL join me in November's BMB, but regardless, if you are ever in New York, I would love to buy you a drink. Several of you in particular have talked me out of some dark places. I hope you know how much of a difference you have made for me during one of the most difficult periods of my life. You are bearing the unbearable with grace.
I look forward to seeing all of you create the families you dream of.
Also if you ever need a CS just let me know. I'm still down.
