What kind of test did you use? They have varying levels of sensitivity.

I had a bfn at 7dp5dt; however, my test wasn't very sensitive. However, at 8dp5dt, I got a BFP on a more sensitive test. Gl!

    The blue ept?

I've never used the blue ept, but I think that FRER is the gold standard if you're testing before a missed period. They are kind of pricey, though.

Posted this in the Feb FET thread but may reach additional audience here:

Sooooooo question: and yes I know this is hard core reaching...

i took a FRER this morning and waited three minutes per the instructions. Negative.  Not surprising at 4dp5dt.

The instructions do specefically say say not to read results after 10 minutes. I did not check at the 10 minute mark.

I get get home from work and there is a faint but definite second line. Thoughts? Test malfunction as it was too long? Possible early indicator? Anyone come across this before?

@PCOSat25 It's probably a false positive. You can only look for the line in the allotted time frame, which I believe is 10 minutes.

@PCOSat25 my personal opinion is that it's not an evap line.  If the second line is pink the only thing that can make it pink is hcg.  Mine came up  hours later on a FRER  when I had a chemical pregnancy- it was bc my levels were very low but detectable.  It came up delayed on 5dp5dt and 6dp5dt. At 9dpt my hcg was. 20, 2 days later it dropped to a 6.

    FET #1 9/13: PGS tested 5AA, BFN
    Endometrial biopsy 10/18/16: normal result
    ERA test 10/18/16: "receptive" result
FET #2  1/3/17: natural cycle, BFP!!! TWINS!!  EDD: 9/21 (8/31 with twin adjustment)

Thanks everyone. I tested again this morning. Same situation, no line at the 10 minute mark but after about an hour there was a second line. Slightly darker than yesterday and definitely pink. So now I am curious. If it is just an evap line, why darker? I will have to see what tomorrow's test holds.
