Sea Bands for Morning Sickness

Hello Ladies,
Some of you may know already but I thought I'd still share. Sea Bands, have any of you tried it? I bought it yesterday and I think it might actually work, I feel less nauseous and less sick...I think it works sort of like an acupuncture would. Or is it possible for morning sickness to subside in a week?

Re: Sea Bands for Morning Sickness

  • That's what I used during my first pregnancy.  It wasn't a sure bet, but I definitely think it helped!  I wore those puppies like they were a new fashion, until month 7!

What I felt also helped were jolly ranchers and no-sudden-movements.  I had to pad extra time into my day just to get around slowly... it sucked but it helped!

    You have my sympathies. :)

  • I tried them during my first pregnancy and they didn't help at all. I may have to try them agree.

Do agree with jolly ranchers. Really sucking (don't be dirty) on anything, really helps.

  • They helped in my earlier stages of nausea, they don't help now. Everyone is different though. I'm taking Diclegis every day and I'm still pretty miserable some days...

  • They didn't work for me.  But I gave them to my friend and she said they work for her
  • @SugarRush Glad I could help!

  • I tried them, but they didn't do a thing for me.

  • I used one during my first pregnancy and it seemed to work well. I just pulled one out today. Hopefully it will help.

Same here. They worked for about a week for me, until the nausea kicked it up a notch. Now Zofran doesn't even help.

  • If you haven't given it a try, worth trying! Yesterday I was all fresh nausea free for a couple of hours and even that is a big deal if you are suffering from 24/7 Morning sickness. However it didn't really stop me from getting sick but kept my head clear
