We all know it can change the way your body looks, but what are some other things that pregnancy (either this or a previous one) changed that surprised you?
Mine is my hair. I had relatively straight hair before having DS and now it's so curly I can't control it. I know it sounds crazy, believe me! The same thing happened to my sister, and my moms hair changed color!
I developed super sensitive skin. Prebaby i used to wash my face with hand soap and moisturizer with what ever. Nowadays I have to use facial cleanser for sensitive skin and the only cream that works is Nivea creme. So lame.
It changed my morning routine. Since I couldn't stand coffee anymore, I ended up sleeping more in the morning and falling into a pattern of waking at 6 to feed my husband before he leaves for work, then going back to bed until 9:30 or 10. I used to just get up and stay up. It's a rare day when I can go without my morning nap.
Maybe not so surprising, but it has changed my diet. My pregnant craving have mostly been fruit, fresh spinach salads, and healthy snacks. Junk food just makes me feel sick now.
Mine too...my base got darker. Texture changed a bit as well and it's more curly. Used to be pin straight...
My boobs were off limits to hubs for seemingly forever while I breastfed and for awhile after. It took a long time before I could feel sexy with that again. Lol
My body... I guess that's obvious since my last pregnancy, my hair is much more greasy now. And my face is greasy now, except in the past couple of weeks, it's been dry for the first time in years!
Pregnancy kills my hair and my face is back in middle school!
Yes! My acne is ridiculous. I call it my pimple beard, since all the pimples seem to be on my neck, jawline, chin, and lower cheeks. But several people have commented that my face looks slimmer, so I guess that's good.
I've been a little surprised at how quickly this pregnancy has changed my outlook, and the way DH and I make decisions. I mean, we have a super busy year coming up between a cross-country move and this baby, so we need to be very proactive, but we just changed so quickly. One weekend we were like, "Eh, sure, we'll drop a few hundred dollars at this vineyard, it's so-and-so's birthday, after all!" And the next weekend we were like, "Ugh, $50 for brunch? Not worth it. When do you think we should start a savings account for this baby?"

I'm so glad I'm not alone here, I though I was crazy! My hair hasn't been this curly since I was a baby!

Not pregnancy related, but during puberty my hair turned curly. Once puberty was completely over, around 22, it went back to being pin straight like it was when I was a kid.
My hair is wonderful while pregnant. However, I lost hair for 10 ish months post partum and I legitimately thought I was going to end up bald. I'm worried about how much I'll lose after this pregnancy

My sister too! She ended up losing so much hair she had a fistt sized bald spot in the middle of her head. It was horrible.
Ive always had wavy hair when i leave it to its own...but lord have mercy usually I need product to make my waves do this. Was video calling with DH, and he goes "i dont understand why you straighten your hair, its so pretty natural" the answer is i work in a professional office and i cant trust these locks on a daily basis to not frizz the eff out and look like a hot mess...but today was a good hair day.
My teeth! I had a c section with my first and I swear something happened that made them shift during the section because they have been shifting ever since and are now crooked. My roots aren't very strong and I knew I'd have problems but I remember the next day my teeth felt different.
pregnancy also changed my belly button. After my VBac it is now an outie.
@wellhithen mine is kind of half in half out lol...definitely changed after birth. It's funny, I had this tiny mole right at the edge of my belly button and that sucker stretched out like crazy with my belly lol
