1. DH got the popcorn ceiling off in the nursery and will sand the walls and ceiling this weekend AND the crib and mattress arrived this week!
2. My nursery prints finally arrived and they are beautiful. I'm excited to frame them.
3. The weather today is absolutely gorgeous. 67 for the high and sunny. I can't believe it but I love it and the dog has been running around like a maniac in the yard. Which is good because she's gotten her first neck rolls from her winter weight and needs to start exercising some more. Lol.
4. The dog and I also took an hour trip today to go get custard from DH's favorite frozen custard place as a Valentine's surprise. This was a custard chain from where we lived when we first got married but they finally opened one here in this city but way downtown and we live far north. I thought I'd take advantage of the gorgeous weather and Phoebe enjoyed the windows down and a puppy cone from the custard place. Haha. Simple pleasures.
5. Childbirth class and birthing center tour tomorrow and first baby shower next weekend! It feels like progress is finally being made and it's so exciting.
@KirstinH88 That's about how I feel. I'm too cranky, sick, and hormonal that I don't want to think about it. I was hoping the positivity in others could make me less moody
I am right there with you guys. I am trying! Give me a little bit and I will try and think of something positive. Perhaps #1 being I will not be pregnant forever.

I don't know about 5 things, but I can name a couple.
1. I got two snow days from work which means a 4-day weekend. 2. I have my first big girl job so the snow days were paid days off. 3. My husband told me the other night he's ready to get a cat and wants to get one this weekend. Maybe not the smartest decision, but I'm excited to add another fur baby to the family.
Yesterday I wasn't feeling so thankful for anything besides probably the Donuts at work and the AMAZING weather but can I be different and post 5 things Saturday?! 1) DS finally slept amazing so I did too 2) DH took DS down to make ME breakfast this morning - they brought it up and promptly left me alone again to eat it too! 3) I am getting a massage in about a hour and am SO excited 4) The weather is supposed to be amazing again today 5) Hoping to get started washing all the baby clothes this weekend - yay for little pink clothes in the laundry!
@mylittleirvz this is me too! I was in a mood yesterday and wasn't very thankful, today is a new day!
1. I'm doing nothing today. And by nothing, I mean MAYBE go in the nursery and do a load of clothes or something, but other than that it's sit my growing ass on the couch and watch Netflix. 2. DH went for a ride with his MC friends and I'm enjoying the quiet. 3. My sister and I had a heart to heart today (which we do often), but it makes me smile because our relationship has grown so much over the years. 4. Speaking of sister, I'm contemplating having her be my "doula". I put that in quotations because she is not a trained doula. But she is about the natural everything way and very supportive. I love my DH, but I don't think he's gonna cut it. He turns all freaked out or jokester when he's worried. 5. I still have another baby shower! Yes there are some things we still need, like a crib mattress and high chair and things I would like to have such as a humidifier and rock n play BUT if we didn't receive another thing, our little man is already SO spoiled! .
1) Had a snow day AND a delayed opening at school this week. 2) Acupuncture helped the pelvis and SI joint pain I've been having. 3) I bought a bunk bed for my older two last night. We've been looking for a while. I went to back to check something and it was super on sale! 4) I ran errands by MYSELF this morning to get the rest of the stuff my son needs for his new big boy bed. 5) Going out to dinner tonight and then lunch with my girlfriends tomorrow.
I have a number 4! I finally remembered to run to the post office and mail off my sister and her family's Christmas gifts. It's only mid-February. How am I doing?
@Nolegirl1185 I was my SIL's doula. That was before my actual doula training so it wasn't official either. But, it was the most amazing experience! She was single so that was an extra reason to have me there. But, it was just great. I didn't have any women with me and DH during DD1's birth and I don't necessarily regret it. But, there is something special and beautiful about women supporting other women. I will have either my sister or mom with me this time I think, whichever one can be there.
