Not sure that this is flame-worthy, but its a confession.
@super_sam03 I want to be your best friend. HAHAHA!! I love your personality. You just seem like there would never be a dull moment hanging out with you.
Moderately related to @KirstinH88's post and also not flame-worthy, but I always wanted to by funny. I tried to be funny as a child and teenager and nobody thought I was funny, especially my three brothers who teased me about it. I gave up and decided to focus my identity around being smart and bookish instead of funny.
But how does one become funny? I have a great sense of humor but I'm not quick enough to do anything with it and my sense of timing is lame. I've always wondered.

I feel the same way! I try to be funny but instead I think I'm just quirky. I give DH a hard time because he NEVER laughs at my jokes the same way he laughs at his friends' jokes. When I joke with him I get an "awww, that's cute" kind of laugh. If I can get a good belly laugh out of him (every once in a long while) that makes my day!
@HGRich@schef070911 I think its just a talent that you are born with. I think I'm pretty hilarious (other people may not think so), but I'm not super quick witted. That's why I love @super_sam03's personality so much. I'm more of a sarcastic humor I think....
I feel ya! I'm not funny either, but my husband can be a hoot. Sometimes when he or others tell jokes, I miss the punchline and they end up having to explain it. Which then makes it not funny anymore
My confession is I lie to DS when he asks for his dad in the middle of the night. lol, i always say "dada is pooping, go back to sleep"
@KirstinH88 Sooooooooo true! I love that meme. What is it with men? Is there something wrong with their colon or something? It takes DH sooooooooooo long to poop. I mean, is it just him enjoying the alone time? I mean, that must be nice. I can sit down get it done and over with in less than a minute easily. He takes at least 10 minutes. And also if he is in there pooping he will not respond to anything. I could yell to him that DD1 is bleeding out and the ambulance is on the way and he wouldn't even reply. I mean, I get it... pooping is a somewhat private event (for him at least). But, sometimes I really just need him to respond yes or no to something and I can't wait 15 minutes for him to be done. Also, I pushed my baby out in 10 minutes so I also can totally honestly agree with that meme as well.

@mrsstuessy I am laughing at everything you just wrote because it is so true! Although, my DH will respond back. I do think its because they like the peace and quiet and alone time. But what's up with that? I never get alone time in the bathroom and my youngest is 4! He still comes to bug me. I will clearly have the water running for a shower and he will say, "mommy, what are you doing in there?" Uhhhh....what do you think?! HAHA!!! Kids definitely don't bug their dad as much as their mom. Or at least not in my house!
ETA: DH sent me this meme the other day and said it was me.
OMG HAHAHA The pooping thing is ridiculous. I have to admit I'm genuinely upset with DH when he goes to the bathroom. But it's justified because he always has to poop when it's time to clean up something. And it's never less than 30 min. So annoying
@HappyAnjel DH has been trained to always check with me to see if I am taking a shower at night. Then he will use the other bathroom. HAHA!! I'm sure our DH's would love that we are discussing their poop habits!!!
@catem07 omg so does mine and she says she's always dreamed of being an interior decorator lol...she's constantly trying to give us advice during our home renos...oh man I could go on and on about her and home decorating
@ekzerr my ILs just built a second home on the coast of Maine and she just keeps filling it up with shit. There is "decorative" stuff on every possible surface. On the first floor there are six containers with fake flowers or plants. It's just so tchotchke. Their philosophy is pretty much "if we have it we have to use it..." and they keep everything.

@catem07 what is with the fake plants, mine is like that too! And same with the tchotchke stuff everywhere...ever since my IL's got divorced she's turned very spiritual all of a sudden (and she thrift shops a lot) so whenever she sees something religious or that "brings her peace" she buys it and displays it...her collection of things is ridiculous haha there's a little statue of a knight in shining armour in her front window

OMG that's how you spell it!
My FFC is that I'm thoroughly enjoying my time to myself today. DH took DS to visit his family, but I didn't feel like making the 6 hour car ride. I thought I was going to be mopey and sad while they were gone, but truth be told, I'm loving it! I got my hair done, went to the chiropractor, ate lunch in peace, and got a mani/pedi/wax this afternoon. Now I'm sitting on the couch binge watching Westworld. The boys will be back tomorrow, so that's probably what's keeping me from being too sad. I really need to write about this in my journal because it will probably be another 3 years before I can have a day like this again!
Omg. The poop talk. You all just made me laugh so much. I feel so much better. I thought that just happened in my house. It drives me insane. The second it's time to do something my husband and oldest head right to the bathroom, I hear two doors shut and the bathroom fans turn on at nearly the same time. And they each spend like 45mins in there! Then they get annoyed if I knock and ask if they're still alive and well. And somehow my daughter knows the difference between me closing a bathroom door and her father closing it!
I have another FFFC even though it's Monday, but I have to get it off my chest. Without getting into too much detail i have to honestly say that I dislike my SIL. She is truly the worst mother ever and the most selfish person I've ever met. She presents this picture to the outside world that she's the best, most involved single mother. In reality, she has openly said to her parents she doesn't want her kids and my ILs have them at least 3 nights/week while she's out "having to live her life, too". I just can't look at her UGH And it's people like that who are so fn fertile that you can't even look at them the wrong way and bam, they are pregnant. Yet so many couples out there long for a child and struggle so much. It can be so unfair... Ok I feel better now.

Oh I know! I was watching Babies behind bars...and a lot of them have had 6-8 babies and have either given them away or are staying with family. So sad.
