It's my birthday! Not how I had pictured ringing in my 30's - super pregnant and working tonight, but oh well. My daughter telling me she loved me this morning is more than enough of a birthday present for me Well that and cake, DD and I made a cake yesterday so I'm prepared to eat many pieces today guilt free.

Happy birthday @CanadianintheSouth!! 

I am very specifically thankful for my dog today. She is SO good, she never wakes us up to take her out, she loves to sleep and will just sleep until we get up. She's such a low maintenance dog, not fussy, super sweet and so gentle with kids and babies. We can let her out in the yard, and even if the gate is open she won't run away. I feel like we won the dog lottery when we adopted her and with baby on the way I feel SO fortunate that she is so easy. Rescue mutts are the best. LOVE her!

I'm thankful for our neighbors. We don't have any family close enough to help with last minute issues and they are so sweet to help with DS if we need a baby sitter. They've also helped us when we had car trouble and we just enjoy their company in general.

I'm thankful my husband was able to take a few hours off this morning to take care of DD while I go to my midwife appointment. She usually screams the whole time because ppl are touching me and she doesn't like it.  It's nice to be able to go and focus on my health and ask questions without a toddler to chase/care for.

I am super thankful for hitting 36 weeks and hopefully meeting our baby soon.  And just super thankful for my job flexibility with maternity leave.  Its a good day and I need to remember more how blessed I am.

I'm so thankful that I was able to sleep the ENTIRE night last night. And thankful that DH was able to leave work at a normal time every night this week to help take care of me when I was sick despite it being his busiest time of the year (he's a tax accountant).

Thankful that my store wasn't damaged too much last night with the fire that happened here - just dealing with leftover smoke/cleaning up water damage from the sprinklers now, but it's not too terrible. 
Also thankful that I got to know one of my neighbors this week as I was walking my dog & she was walking with her toddler, and she happens to be an amazing photographer specializing in newborn photos & offered to do a photo shoot for our LO when he arrives for a really great price! Super excited!

@CanadianintheSouth Happy Birthday!  I'm thankful this is baby shower weekend for me! I'm thankful how loving and cuddily my cats have become. Thankful that my sister and I just might be developing a friendship.  Thankful for my sweet best friend who is helping coordinate one of my baby showers and has been a good friend since her and I talked.

@CanadianintheSouth Happy birthday! Welcome to the dirty 30. Mine is on Tuesday, and I'll be ringing in my 31st year likewise super pregnant! (And judging by my current workload, probably working too lol.)

My baby shower was on Saturday, and days later, my ice-cold heart is still melting from all the love! I am so thankful for amazing friends and family. Sure, we get mildly annoyed at each other and don't always see eye-to-eye, but there is honestly very little drama. I cannot wait for my daughter to meet each and every person who is special to me, because I can say for a fact that she's special to them as well. Life is beautiful, guys. *sniff*

I'm thankful for a close and supportive family. And our close friends who are throwing us a sprinkle Sunday, even after I insisted they don't. I plan on it just being a good time to catch up with friends.
