I think mine is Nature's Best or something like that. I took a different one last time.
I was told early on in my last pregnancy to take them right before bed, on a full-ish stomach, to avoid getting nauseous. That's worked great for me with both of the vitamins I've tried.
October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
I've been taking Materna. It was recommended by my clinic and it was making me nauseous when I was taking it in the morning but since I've started taking it at night, it's been not too bad

1) Jamieson 2) It's not crazy expensive and I can stand the taste of it. I had tried a different brand that the smell made me want to puke. 3) I get bad morning sickness during my pregnancies. But I don't think it's caused by the pre-natal. So...no
I settled on this one. I was looking for a vegan prenatal and this one had pretty good reviews. No upset stomach, and I take it in the morning with no issues. I think because there is quite a bit of vitamin B6 in it. They also smell really good, kind of a citrus flavor.
NatureMade Prenatal with DHA. I haven't tried any others so don't have much to compare! No nausea experienced with it but I do take on a full stomach. They are pretty large pills though, because they are combined with the DHA.
I just use the One A Day double packs (one bottle is the prenatal and the other is the DHA soft gels). I used them last time. Never had any issues with them making me sick or anything, but i take them at night.
Right now i'm using the one-a-day prenatals. Last pregnancy i tried a bunch of different brands. Definitely liked Rainbow light the best (not too expensive and they didnt make me feel ill). The majority of my last pregnancy i took my prenatal in the morning with breakfast and couldnt figure out why i was still feeling so sick. I definitely recommend taking them at night. I'll probably switch back to rainbow light once i finish my current bottle.
I'm taking the Rainbow One too, no issues with nausea because I take it right before going to bed. But my gag reflex is starting to get sensitive and the vits are kinda big and not coated so we'll see how I do in the coming weeks....
I've been taking the Garden of Life Vitamin Code Raw Prenatals along with Minami Prenatal DHA (fish oil) and a Cal-Mag pill to help boost my low vitamin D. I've been taking this combo for a while, so haven't experienced nausea with it...just fish burps sometimes.
@beautyundefined I take the same thing! I can't swallow those gigantic prenatal pills! I am going to ask the dr. if that is okay or if I need to add on an extra supplement because they don't have any iron or vitamin C...If I remember correctly. My iron is usually on the low side of normal.
I take the Costco brand.. Kirkland prenatal. I also take extra folic acid because my doctor recommended that I should. I decided on it because it is really cheap and compared to the "name brand" it was identical. It does make me feel sick (I've been taking them since we started our TTC journey) but I found that if I take it before bed a few hours after dinner I don't feel sick at all. Hope this helps!
I take the Target brand along with their DHA (fish free) - used throughout my last pregnancy and nursing. They are small and don't have any weird aftertaste etc - love them.
I take Zenwise. they are huge and have a gross after taste but they don't have any extra herbal extracts or anything which I read aren't good. I should my OBGYN last time and she said its fine as long as it has 800mcg of folic acid. which it does
I'm taking Rainbow Light Prenatal Ones.... they have probiotics, folic acid and iron, but are plant derived so I don't get constipation like I did with my first pregnancy. Plus, they are affordable and can be picked up at any Target. They don't make me nauseous either... where many other brands did. If there are any vegan mamas, these are good option.
Target brand prenatal gummies. I needed something that doesn't have iron in it (tmi, I have enough constipation issues as it is, I don't need anything else helping make it worse). They were inexpensive and it's a 45 day supply.
Always take any vitamin with a meal, prenatals are a good idea to take before bed

I didn't know that, my iron usually runs low as well! I took them with my last pregnancy, and my doctor said it was okay.
I'm doing Folic Acid and Vitamin D only. My OB said not to worry about prenatal vitamins until the second trimester because they will just make my nausea worse and you don't need all the stuff in them the first few months. However, I had somewhat recent blood work so she could see that I didn't have any deficiencies (besides D).
I'm taking the SmartyPants prenatal because 1) gummy and 2) folate. They taste great, but the only issue I have with them is that the dose is 6 gummies a day - which sucks. I break it up into 3, 2x a day.

I'm taking Actif prenatal. It's has a natural form of folate which is good for mommies with MTHFR since folic acid is not as easily absorbed. So far so good.
1) What Prenatal are you all taking? New Chapter Perfect Prenatal Wholefood multivitamin 2) How did you decide on it? It is a wholefood vitamin B derived prenatal with natural folate rather than chemically produced folic acid. It can be taken on an empty stomach. It doesn't cause me any stomach issues. It increases my energy. It's loaded with whole food based nutrition for fetal development, and can be used pre-conception, during pregnancy, and post delivery. 3) Does it make you nauseous? No, it's the one that doesn't.
I'm taking the SmartyPants Prenatal gummies. I had a lot of trouble taking prenatals in my first pregnancy because I was so sick. I discovered these while I was breastfeeding and they taste amazing. My nausea hasn't shown up this time yet so we'll see if they continue to work for me. I also started taking a probiotic gummy as soon as I found out I was pregnant. It's by Ultimate Flora.
I'm taking Spring Valley but I'll probably switch the first chance I get. I got them because they were the cheapest on the shelf but there was a post on the TTGP board that said they weren't test to make sure they actually had what they said they had. Like the bottle says it has 800mg of folic acid but no one went behind them to make sure that was true. The OP is a chemist and conducted an experiment with one of their other vitamins and it literally had nothing of what the label said it had.

1) What Prenatal are you all taking? I'm taking a mixture of Nature's Made and Rainbow Light. I like both, but the Nature's Made includes DHA. Rainbow Light doesn't and so it depends if I want to take two pills or just one...
I'm also taking extra Vitamin D. The American Pregnancy Association recommends that you get 4,000 IU a day, but most prenatals only have 400 IU (at least the one's I've seen).
Another note - and I'm totally stealing this info from someone on TTGP who studied vitamins (like scientifically, not in a stood in the aisle and read and googled) but I don't remember who to tag appropriately. But essentially, vitamins and supplements aren't regulated. As a result, some don't actually contain what's on the label. She recommended using one that has a 3rd party certification, such as USP.
2) How did you decide on it? I did some research and Rainbow Light had really good reviews, so that's what I started with. But then I got tired of buying two bottles of pills and went with Nature Made. While the Nature Made one isn't USP-certified yet, Nature Made is working its way through and getting their supplements certified. 3) Does it make you nauseous? Neither make me nauseous. I've taken then on an empty stomach in the morning and been fine.

@CAdreamin13 I am super newly pregnant so, I havnt really had too much of an issue, but maybe it's because I take them . Honestly, I have been pretty regular. I like that its mixed with the calcium.
Also taking the VitaFusion Prenatal Gummies. I took their general daily vitamin for a long time and decided to stick with them, I'm a sissy when it comes to taking pills so this was a nice alternative. I take it before heading to work (or mid morning) and haven't had any issues with it.
1) What Prenatal are you all taking? Prescription Pre-Natal
2) How did you decide on it? My doctor that is treating my anxiety insisted I should take prescription strength (he's a little bit of a check off any potential box kinda guy).
3) Does it make you nauseous? The one time I took it in the AM yes. I take it before bed now and have no issues.
With DS I took these and had no issues, but again, I took it before bed.
