    I made a post in the military families board when I first joined, and someone commented on it today about how *potential TW* she managed to get KU in the two weeks between training and pre-deployment. I just kind of want to be a real see-you-next-tuesday and be like "I hope your DH is enjoying Jody's baby" because I have AF and am irrationally angry, but I wont. *end TW* This is why I only post on this board now!

    @eggplantface That made me mad too.
    It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

    I was told to give a student an A on a project he had 4 weeks to do and it was due two weeks ago. I am NOT giving an A when he had SIX weeks to do it.

    @feeislove Omg I'm so sorry to hear about your teacher. I can only imagine how shocked and sad you must feel. Don't be sorry for sharring, I think a lot of us here live far away from our family and friends and understand how isolating situations like this can feel. Andplusalso, this is a supportive community in general. Hugs. <3

    @feeislove I am so sorry for your loss.  His poor husband must be devastated.  The certain level of "knowing" that comes with hospice doesn't make it any easier, and, in some ways can be worse.  Don't feel bad, people move.  You can support from afar.  Hugs.

    @feeislove That's awful. I'm so sorry ❤

    @LoveInDC That reminds me of when they CLOSED MY STREET for long term repairs without any warning. I'm like... how the f*%k am I supposed to get to work now? That's why I follow my city public works dept on facebook now.

    I'm sorry @Dilynne , but your family is the worst. Is this the same sister who wouldn't let you sit in her dining room chairs because you are "too fat"? I'm sorry you have to deal with jerks.

    A little late to the TW party here...but the government is my TW today. DH works for the Army Corps of Engineers and he was supposed to receive a raise back at the end of September. It's now FOUR MONTHS LATER and it STILL isn't on his paycheck!!!! They've given so many bullshit excuses that I'm about to march down there myself and whoop someones ass. Not trying to sound money hungry or anything, but we've been barely scraping by as it is, and we were really counting on that raise to make our lives better. We've had to continuously ask our parents for money to help us out, and we truly don't blow it! We spend the necessary amount to pay bills and buy groceries, and MAYBE enjoy a date night once a month, or splurge and actually just drive through somewhere once every 2-3 weeks rather than cooking. It's just really ridiculous that they can't get their shit together and fix it.
